Mrvová, Petra January 2013 (has links)
(Forest and its changes during the year) The major objective of this thesis is to propose concrete possibilities of using the surrounding forests of Moravská Třebová in the educational process of pupils at primary schools. The current valid Framework Education Programme for Elementary Education, which focuses attention on this topic in several areas, was the starting point. Subsequently, the analysis of textbooks for primary education was conducted with the aim to find out the way of presentation of the subject matter. In the next section, the topical information related to the topic was obtained. It has made use of materials provided by the staff of the Department of the Environment of the municipality of Moravská Třebová and the local forest district of the state-owned company Forest of the Czech Republic. In the next stage of the thesis, the survey was conducted to find out what teachers think about the issue. The teachers of all primary schools in the town were involved in this research. Based on the evaluation of these findings, the possibilities of using forests and other woody areas for the educational process of pupils from primary schools in the town of Moravská Třebová were proposed. Some parts of the project were verified in the selected primary school in the town.

Rašovský, Matěj January 2015 (has links)
This thesis is aimed on transfer of pupils from lower to upper secondary school from the point of view of mathematics. It was chosen three pupils which attended the same lower secondary school and transfer to the same upper secondary school. Using questionnaires and mathematical test, which were given in September 2014 and January 2015, was reviewed their transfer from the point of view pedagogical-psychical and mathematical. These questionnaires were given to the teachers also. This transfer was mostly negative for pupils. The level of knowledge of mathematics was the same or even worse. It is caused by different teacher's access to teaching mathematics. We could hope that this situation will be changed in a couple months. Comparative Studies of Vocational Education and Training

Kap, Hrvoje January 2015 (has links)
The thesis consists of an introduction and three studies, which are comparative sociological and institutional analyses of a number of countries' publicly regulated vocational education and training systems at upper secondary and post-secondary level. Official regulation of programme content and curricula - the main empirical material - is interpreted, and focus is directed on aspects which distinguish between, among others, general and vocational elements of teaching, learning and training. The analyses employ concepts from educational studies, historical sociology and institutional sociology with the aim of conceptual elaboration and illumination of similarities and differences between cases. Study I compares upper secondary vocational education and training programmes in Denmark, Finland, Norway and Sweden. The programmes are analysed and compared with respect to scope, sequence and selection of curricular units of subject matter and periods of training. Programmes combine general and vocational elements in various ways, thereby offering choices for obtaining both the occupation-related qualification, as well as higher education eligibility. The combination of curricular units with additional subject matter seems to, in some cases, lead to emerging learning aims. Study II focuses on vocational education and training systems at upper secondary level in Denmark, Norway and Sweden, and seeks to identify differences and similarities by conceptualising features of ideal types along different dimensions. It furthermore develops a method of analysis and visualisation which enables more accurate understanding of how various learning aims are designed within educational programmes. Some of the results indicate that the resources necessary for attaining the full, intended educational qualification are not guaranteed in any of the three cases; however, this applies particularly to apprenticeship-based programmes, where it can be attained only after training contracts with status-like features, resembling parts of occupational jurisdictions, are seized within sheltered circumstances. In the school-based programmes, a larger proportion of resources are guaranteed, but training is shorter and less vocationally oriented. Vocational education and training programmes in all three systems orient learning not only towards vocational, but also general learning aims. Study III compares admission criteria to post-secondary vocational education and training programmes in Denmark and Sweden, focusing on the Danish erhvervsakademi and the Swedish yrkeshögskola. Options, as elements of life chances, for individuals holding upper secondary vocational education qualifications who wish to apply for admission to these programmes, differ in terms of scope between the two cases. In the Swedish case, options are wide and mostly structured by course-based admission criteria; while in the Danish case, options are more narrow and structured by qualification-based admission criteria. / <p>At the time of the doctoral defense, the following papers were unpublished and had a status as follows: Paper 2: Manuscript. Problematika infekčních chorob v povědomí žáků základních a středních škol. / Awareness of contagious disease in mind of pupils at basic and secondary schools.

Peštová, Ilona January 2010 (has links)
Infectious diseases are a very hot topic nowadays in society. In recent years, there were several epidemics, infectious diseases (hepatitis A, Avian influenza, pandemic influenza A) and nobody knows when will the next "new" infection. At the outbreak of epidemics, there is great interest in the company to obtain information about the disease, but often also to unnecessary panic, because the media often publish incorrect information. It would be preferable, in order to improve public awareness and prevent the unnecessary spread of disease. Great emphasis should be given to prevent the disease - primarily on immunization, hygiene rules and principles of safe sex. Quality information should be mainly from teachers in teaching their pupils, as is clear from research books, infectious diseases are only mentioned in textbooks and the number of substantive information in them is missing. The fact that pupils of primary schools and grammar schools with basic information on infectious diseases do not meet in the classroom, evidenced by the results of a survey carried out in the 6th classes and first year at selected elementary schools and grammar schools in Prague. To raise awareness of the pupils in school was to create a methodical manual for teachers, which summarizes information about bacterial and...

Křesťanská mateřská škola / Christian Kindergarten

Chourová, Jolana January 2012 (has links)
In my thesis I deal with the position of the Christian kindergarten in the system of pre-school education in the Czech Republic . I describe the historical development of the kindergarten as an institution. The development of pre-school children is assessed in terms of education, psychology and religion. Family and teacher are the basic partners in the lifelong patterns of shaping the personality of every child. The Christian kindergarten meets the same objectives as other pre-school facilities which are based on The Framework Education Programme. The difference between the Christian kindergarten and ordinary kindergarten is their founder and the Educational Programme which is oriented and adapted to the requirements of Christian education of pre-school children. The Christian kindergarten has a logical place and tradition in the system of pre-school education.

Ma, Apondo Judith 02 1900 (has links)
Emergency nursing is an evolving field in Kenya with the Nursing Council of Kenya (NCK) yet to list it as a speciality area. This study wished to identify and describe the core competencies that should be included in an emergency nurse training programme based on the views of nurses and doctors who work in emergency units in a level 1 hospital in Nairobi, Kenya. The researcher used qualitative explorative and quantitative descriptive designs in phases 1 and 2, respectively, and convenience and purposive sampling. The study found that the respondents emphasised the inclusion of 137 (93.2%) of the 147 skills in the questionnaire as core competencies and disagreed with 10 (6.8%). Concomitantly, the vast majority of the respondents (93.6%) supported the inclusion of the skills compared to those (6.3%) that did not. Based on the findings, the researcher made recommendations of the core competencies to be included in the programme. / Health Studies / M.A. (Health studies)
