In diploma thesis Construction of electric motorcycles I deal with issue of electric motorcycles, their types, constructions, advantages and their use. One part includes description of tractions and transmissions. Next part describes batteries, which are necessary in electric vehicles. The aim of this work is to compare different solutions of vehicle constructions. Experiment is about two constructions of quad. This quad used combustion engine and was modified to electric power. Electric quad was tested on power testing stand. Experimental quad constructions which were used were compared and evaluated. Experiment included test of stamina of fully charged battery.

In following chapters are calculations and selection procedures of the electric motor, batteries and other accessories. Results from previous chapters were used to created complete 3D model of scooter in SolidWorks software. Based on the model, complete technical drawings were created.

Dissertation is concerned with the activity of the pump milking machine in order to save energy while maintaining the stability of the vacuum. The searching describes the operation of milking machine with regulation in vakuum milking systém. The literature review characterizes the basic functional components of milking equipment, their characteristics and technical specifications. The purpose of practical part is to design, create and describe alternatives for controlling the operation of milking machine´s pump via the inverter. Other importem task is to recommend a methodology to interpret the measurement of vacuum and consumption of electricity so the sets parameters can be compared. Dissertation also vertifies if the involvement of the drive systém can not adversely affect the operation of asynchronous electric motor.

The thesis deals with the construction of selected types of engines for passenger cars. It focuses on the function and description of current technologies. The first part deals with the conventional engine of passenger cars. It outlines the basic functional elements and the division of the combustion engine types. In conclusion, there is an evaluation. The next part is focused on closer specification of electric motors and their energy sources - accumulators. Subsequently, a hybrid engine is described, such as basic functional elements and classification of these vehicles. In conclusion, there is an evaluation. The next chapter focuses on electric motor. It also mentions the issue of the charging, including the final evaluation. The conclusion deals with the actual analysis of technical parameters with an over-view of selected conventional, hybrid and electric vehicles that are currently used in nor-mal operation. It also evaluates the economic view of the operation of selected vehicles.

The thesis also deals with the driver from the automation point of view, its tuning and behavior according to high dynamics and precise positioning. The last chapter discusses the issue of controlling two linear drives. Whole thesis was realized on a borrowed linear motor with driver from HIWIN corp.
