Orientador: Luciano Guimarães / Banca: Alberto Carlos Augusto Klein / Banca: João Eduardo Hidalgo / Resumo: O objetivo desta dissertação foi estudar a sensibilidade presente na percepção da imagem fotográfica do outro - aqui caracterizado como pessoa de cultura diferente daquela do público a que se dirige a mídia que apresenta - e as características da produção de tais imagens que as tornam capazes de sensibilizar (no sentido mesmo de comover) aqueles que se deparam com a informação assim mediada. Ou seja, analisou-se a posição subjetiva (emotiva) da fotografia, seu potencial para induzir representações e ações. Portanto, podemos definir que a hipótese deste trabalho é a de que é possível identificar e analisar uma forma de comunicação por meio da imagem fotográfica que, utilizando-se dos recursos da linguagem imagética e com isso conseguindo sensibilizar o espectador (leitor), pode contribuir na diminuição das barreiras de aceitação do outro em situação de diversidade cultural, étnica, social, econômica etc. Como recorte metodológico, a pesquisa investigou como se dá a produção da imagem fotográfica na revista National Geographic do Brasil. A análise de tais imagens, mostrou que existem padrões compositivos, cromáticos, de iluminação, entre outros, que proporcionam à foto uma força que prevê mexer com a sensibilidade do leitor da imagem. E, que ao chegarem a ele desta forma, abrem portas para um interesse e uma vontade de entendimento do diferente. / Abstract: The goal of this dissertation was to study the sensitivity in the perception of the photographic image of the other - here characterized as a person with a culture that differs from the public that leads whit presented media - and the characteristics of these image's production, that makes them capable of provoking sensations (in the same sense of touch) in those whose who are faced with the information thus mediated. Specifically, the work intends to analyze the subjective (emotional) position of photograph, it's potential to stimulate representations and actions. Therefore, we can define that the hipothesis of this study is that it is possible to identify and analyze a form of communication through photographic image that, using the resources of imagetic language - which awareness the viewer (reader), can contribute in the reduction of acceptance's barriers of the other in situations of cultural, ethnical, social or economical diversity. As a methodological clipping, the study investigated the production of the photographic image in the National Geographic of Brazil magazine. These images' analysis the existence of some patterns, such as composition, coloration, lighting, among others, that strengthen the photo to reach the image reader's sensibility. These images produced according those patterns can open the door to the interest and will of understanding the different. / Mestre

Orientador: Maria Alice de Campos Rodrigues / Banca: Silvia Helena Fortes Bassi / Banca: Walter José Migliorini / Resumo: O objetivo do presente trabalho é, a partir de material teórico, fazer algumas elaborações a respeito de como poderia ser a compreensão dos comportamentos de crianças semi-institucionalizadas no ambiente onde se desenvolvia um projeto social. Como poderiam ser compreendidas as relações entre as características dos ambientes sociais em que viviam, ou teriam vivido, e seus próprios modos de se comportarem, suas manifestações de carências e necessidades. Na introdução expomos a fundamentação teórica que começa com o tema do "desenvolvimento da consciência", seguindo os teóricos da psicologia sócio-histórica e alguns seguidores da mesma linha; segue uma exposição sobre o tema "razão e emoção", começando com António R. Damásio e retomamos os fundamentos da psicologia sócio-histórica, com Vygotsky e alguns outros estudiosos. Nesta parte, mostramos que a visão do indivíduo como um todo complexo é compreendida recentemente nos estudos da psicologia científica. Examinamos ainda, o tema do desenvolvimento da afetividade e da cognição como extensões indissociáveis do psiquismo humano. Aqui seguimos os fundamentamos de Henri Wallon, destacando o "caráter contagioso da emoção" e os "domínios funcionais" do processo de desenvolvimento psicológico da criança. Tratamos ainda sobre o desenvolvimento do comportamento agressivo de crianças como uma expressão afetiva-emocional. E por último, fizemos algumas considerações sobre a afetividade e a cognição no contexto educacional. Na parte da metodologia descrevemos em talhes a "Dinâmica da Mãozinha" que foi criada, além de outros aspectos da metodologia adotada. No final, fazemos algumas considerações a partir da literatura para dizer da nossa compreensão dos comportamentos dos nossos alunos semi-institucionalizados. / Abstract: The aim of the current work is from the theoretical material, to do some elaboration as to how the behavior of semi-institutionalized children could be understood in the environment where a social project was being developed. The relations between the characteristics of social environments where they lived or could have lived be understood, and their own ways of behaving, their manifestations of lacks and needs. In the introduction we expose the theoretical framework that begins with the theme of "consciousness development", according to the social-historical psychology theoreticians and some followers of the same line: the following is a presentation on the theme of "reason and emotion," starting with Anthony R. Damasio and other theorists who contribute their reflections on the same theme. In this section, we show that the vision of the individual as a whole complex has been recently comprised in scientific psychology studies. Then, still in the introduction, we examine the issue of affectivity development and cognition as inseparable extensions of the human psyche. Here, we follow the fundamentals of Henri Wallon, highlighting the "contagious nature of emotion" and "functional areas" of the psychological development process of children. We even deal with the development of aggressive behavior of children as an emotional expression. We made some considerations about the affection and cognition in the educational context. In the methodology, we describe the "Hand's Dynamics" in detail hat was created, besides other aspects of the methodology adopted. Finally, we make some comments from the literature to tell our understanding of the behavior of our semi - institutionalized students. / Mestre

Para tanto, utilizamos como corpus o objeto de estudo o programa Fantástico, da Rede Globo. Pareceu-nos pertinente acompanhar a trajetória desse programa televisivo para entendermos como o espetáculo da mídia televisiva se faz presente. Através da observação e análise do corpus percebemos as características mais relevantes desse espetáculo, e, consideramos a demanda pela interatividade e a busca pela visibilidade de sua importância no processo comunicacional midiático. Observamos, ainda, que, como qualquer outra empresa, as emissoras televisivas e seus produtos midiáticos também buscar adequar-se à realidade que desponta. Estamos diante de um cenário voltado à emoção das histórias e deixando paulatinamente a lógica da Sociedade da Informação, cujas raízes estão voltadas 'a própria informação. Para tanto, a mídia busca seduzir o público através de narrativas construídas em que o "como" prepondera em detrimento de "o quê" se informa / Abstract: The present dissertation aims to demonstrate the transition between the Information Society to the "Dream Society", denominated by Jensen (1999), which has already started to print its marks. Therefore, we used a corpus and object of study the TV program "Fantastico", from "Rede Globo". It seemed pertinent to follow the journey of this TV program to understand the shape of the spectacle produced by the media. By observation and analysis of the corpus, we noticed the most relevant characteristics of this spectacle, and, we consider the demand for interactivity and the need for visibility fairly important in the communicational process of the media. We observed that, as any other company, the television channels and their products also make efforts to be adapted to the reality that comes. We are facing to a scenery which focuses in the emotion of the stories and leaving the logic of the Information Society, which roots are focusing to the informatin. Therefore, the media seeks to seduce the audience through built narrative where "how" preponderate in relation to "what" is informed / Mestre
