The bibliographic research is based on the Theory of Social Representations, and it highlights the organized symbolic processes to meet the dynamics of social representations constituted in the investigated subjects quotidian. Representations that configure themselves in contributions for the construction/ behaviour / perception of the individual and the collective. The adopted methodological procedure in this investigation was a documental research on charts of 21 patients, being 18 of female gender and 3 of male gender, between 50 and 70 years old, that had undergone rejuvenation procedures in 2003 to 2007 period. From the analysis of the contents of these documents we could select unities of analysis identified in the main complaints exposed by the patients. In this aspect the research presents the characteristics of a qualitative research. The collected data from the main complaint stated in the medical charts indicates some regularity in relation to the complaints that directly refer to a dissatisfaction with the body esthetics, and they are: flabbiness (25,80%), facial aging (25.80%), flaccidity of the tissues eyelids and breasts (19,35%), facial wrinkles (12,90%). Associated complaints occurred with 9 patients that, on account of analysis criteria, where dismissed as localized fat complaints (3,22%). Were considered in this study, data from charts of 21 patients that stated desires of same nature, i.e., plastic surgery in the rejuvenation context / Este trabalho procura investigar as representações constituídas na queixa principal de prontuários médicos em relação à estética corporal em um grupo de pacientes inseridos no processo de envelhecimento, residentes no município da São Paulo. A pesquisa bibliográfica baseia-se na Teoria das Representações Sociais focando os processos simbólicos organizados face à dinamicidade das representações sociais constituídas no cotidiano dos sujeitos investigados. Representações que se configuram nos aportes para a construção/comportamento/percepções do indivíduo e do coletivo. O procedimento metodológico adotado nesta investigação caracteriza-se pela pesquisa documental realizada nos prontuários de 21 pacientes, sendo 18 do sexo feminino e 3 do sexo masculino, com idade entre 50 a 70 anos, que foram submetidos a procedimentos de rejuvenescimento no período de 2003 a 2007. A partir da análise do conteúdo desses documentos pudemos eleger unidades de análise identificadas nas queixas principais reveladas pelos pacientes. Dessa forma a pesquisa apresenta características de uma pesquisa qualitativa. Os dados coletados na queixa principal dos prontuários médicos indicaram certa regularidade em relação às queixas que fazem referência direta à insatisfação com a estética corporal, sendo elas: flacidez (25,80%); face envelhecida (25,80%), queda dos tecidos pálpebras e mamas (19,35%) e rugas no rosto (12,90%). Ocorreram associações de queixas em 9 pacientes e, para fins de análise, foram desprezadas as queixas de gordura localizada (3,22%). Neste estudo, foram considerados os dados dos prontuários de 21 pacientes que apresentaram desejos da mesma natureza, ou seja, a cirurgia plástica no contexto do rejuvenescimento
