  • The Global ETD Search service is a free service for researchers to find electronic theses and dissertations. This service is provided by the Networked Digital Library of Theses and Dissertations.
Our metadata is collected from universities around the world. If you manage a university/consortium/country archive and want to be added, details can be found on the NDLTD website.

No. of bitstreams: 1 DissCSM.pdf: 484363 bytes, checksum: 6bab9f79ffe781bb395554a32cdd0754 (MD5) Previous issue date: 2005-03-29 / Universidade Federal de Minas Gerais / In this work we first review some of the techniques relevant to the theory of two-dimensional integrable models. We apply the Quantum Inverse Scattering approach to a class of three-state vertex model with both closed and open boundaries. The respective transfer matrices eigenvalues and eigenvectors are determined by the algebraic Bethe ansatz method.
