Σκοπός της παρούσας διπλωματικής εργασίας είναι η διεξαγωγή και επεξεργασία μετρήσεων με στόχο την μελέτη καταπονημένων φωτοβολταϊκων πλαισίων από υπερτάσεις, που δημιουργούνται λόγω κεραυνικών πληγμάτων, για την εξαγωγή συμπερασμάτων για την λειτουργία τους και την απόδοσή τους. Η διάρθρωση της διπλωματικής εργασίας έχει ως εξής: Στο πρώτο κεφάλαιο γίνεται μία θεωρητική αναφορά στις ανανεώσιμες πηγές ενέργειας και πιο συγκεκριμένα στα φωτοβολταϊκά συστήματα. Περιγράφονται συνοπτικά τα πλεονεκτήματα και τα μειονεκτήματα αυτής της τεχνολογίας, οι κατηγορίες των φωτοβολταϊκών συστημάτων και η σύγχρονη αγορά παγκοσμίως και ειδικότερα στην Ελλάδα. Στο δεύτερο κεφάλαιο παρουσιάζεται μια θεωρητική ανάλυση του φωτοβολταϊκού φαινομένου καθώς επίσης και των ηλεκτρικών χαρακτηριστικών των φωτοβολταϊκών στοιχείων. Επίσης αναφέρονται οι παράγοντες και πως αυτοί επηρεάζουν την απόδοση ενός φ/β στοιχείου. Στο τρίτο κεφάλαιο παρουσιάζεται σε θεωρητικό επίπεδο ο ολοκληρωμένος τρόπος αντικεραυνικής προστασίας φωτοβολταϊκών διατάξεων, όπως ορίζουν οι σχετικοί διεθνείς κανονισμοί και γίνεται αναφορά και στις ζώνες αντικεραυνικής προστασίας. Στο τέταρτο κεφάλαιο περιγράφεται ο τρόπος με τον οποίο πραγματοποιήθηκαν οι μετρήσεις με στόχο την σύγκριση των αποδόσεων ενος καταπονημένου φωτοβολταϊκου πλαισίου κι ενός καινούριου. Στην συνέχεια παρατίθενται οι μετρήσεις που διεξήχθησαν κατά τη διάρκεια δύο μηνών (Οκτώβριος – Νοέμβριος, 2009) και επιπρόσθετα οι χαρακτηριστικές Ι – V και P – V των δοκιμαστικών φωτοβολταϊκών πλαισίων που προέκυψαν από κάθε μέτρηση. Τέλος, στο πέμπτο κεφάλαιο γίνεται η εξαγωγή συμπερασμάτων και η παράθεση προτάσεων για την περαιτέρω μελέτη των επιπτώσεων των κεραυνικών πληγμάτων, σε φωτοβολταϊκές διατάξεις. / The object of the following essay is the conduct and elaboration of measurements aiming at the study of stressed photovoltaic frames from hypertensions caused by lightning strikes, for the inference regarding their operation and their efficiency. The structure of this essay is the following: In the first chapter there is a theoretical report in the renewable sources of energy and more precisely in the photovoltaic systems. The advantages and disadvantages of this technology, the categories of photovoltaic systems and the modern market worldwide and more specifically in Greece are briefly described. The second chapter presents a theoretical analysis of the photovoltaic phenomenon as well as the electric characteristics of PV modules. Tthe factors and the influence on the efficiency of PV modules are also reported. The third chapter presents in theoretical level the completed way of lightning protection of PV arrays, as the relevant international regulations define and a briefly report in the areas of lightning protection. The fourth chapter describes the way the measurements were conducted aiming at the comparison of the efficiency between a stressed PV module and a new one. Then, the measurements carried out during two months (October - November, 2009) as well as the characteristics I - V and P - V of the tested PV modules resulted from each measurement are cited. Finally, in the fifth chapter, conclusions are exported and proposals are cited for further study of the lightning strikes consequences , in PV arrays.
