Nuclear dipole magnetic moments have been measured for highly neutron deficient light rare-earth nuclei using the technique of on-line low temperature nuclear orientation. A novel pulsed implantation technique 139 has been used to set a limit of the relaxation times of both 139Eu and 139Sm isotopes in iron of < 3s. The measured moments are compared to calculations using a particle plus triaxial rotor model, and the ground-state configurations are discussed. The large magnetic moment for the nucleus 138Eu enables the assignment of the (pi5/2- [532] x nu7/2+ [404]) 6- Nilsson two-quasiparticle configuration. The measured moments for both 139Eu and 139Smm are explained in terms of the weak coupling of the respective odd-nucleon to a strongly triaxial rotating core.

Syftet med denna undersökning var att öka kunskapen om hur förskolepersonal på två olika förskolor på två olika kommuner resonerar kring anmälningsplikten. Genom att utgå ifrån en kvalitativ metod har vi valt att använda oss av fokusgruppsintervjuer på två olika förskolor. I undersökningen framkom det att arbetet kring anmälningsplikten varierar beroende på förskolepersonalens tolkning av anmälningsplikten. Resultatet visar att kunskapen brister kring ämnet hos förskolepersonalen, samt att de resonerar olika beroende hur självklara misstankarna är när omsorgen sviktar.

ABSTRACT Thorsson, E. 2015. Hitta ut – Ett svenskt folkhälsoprojekt. Uppsatser Kulturgeografiska institutionen, Uppsala universitet.    Fysisk aktivitet i det svenska samhället spelar en betydande roll för landets folkhälsa. Folkhälsoprojektet Hitta ut drivs lokalt på 14 olika platser i Sverige och utgör således en del av vårt samhälles utbud av aktiviteter riktat mot folkhälsa. Syftet med denna uppsats är att få en djupare förståelse för vad som är essentiellt för ett lyckat folkhälsoprojekt i Sveriges kommuner. Fokus ligger på att kartlägga vilka framgångsfaktorer och brister som är direkt avgörande för dess utgång och resultat.    För att kunna besvara uppsatsens frågeställningar genomförs en intervjustudie vars resultat diskuteras utifrån Elisabeth VG Janssons och Per E Tillgrens resultat i sin artikel i BMC Public Health gällande hälsopromotion på lokal nivå samt Johan Faskungers, doktor inom fysisk aktivitet &amp; hälsovetenskap vid University of Bristol, utvärdering av hur implementeringen av fysisk aktivitetsfrämjande insatser ser ut i samhället. Uppsatsens resultat visar att närvaron av en eldsjäl är en nödvändighet för en lyckad folkhälsopromotion, både på arrangörsnivå så väl som på kommunal nivå. Vidare är en förankring hos kommunen viktig i förhållande till drift av projektet då det är kommunen som ger ekonomiskt bidrag till projektets arrangörer. Marknadsföring upplevs också ha spelat av avgörande roll för folkhälsoprojektets resultat.

Tidigare forskning finner det angeläget med vidare studier gällande lokala organisationsförhållanden för anmälningspliktigaprofessioner. Studien syftar därför till att kartlägga hur rektorer som ansvarar för årskurs 7-9 på kommunala grundskolor ien kommun i norra Sverige ser på skolans ansvar när barn far illa eller då det finns misstanke om att ett barn far illa. Utöverdetta studeras även hur rektorerna resonerar kring barn som far illa eller misstänks fara illa samt skolans rutiner ochtillvägagångssätt i samband med detta. Fyra kvalitativa intervjuer av semistrukturerad karaktär ligger till grund för studienoch intervjuerna har därefter analyserats med hjälp av en kvalitativ innehållsanalys. Resultatet visar att barn som far illa ansesvara ett brett begrepp och att det i många situationer är svårt att avgöra om ett barn far illa eller inte. Skolans ansvar fördessa barn anses vara stort och anmälningsskyldighet ses som en del i detta ansvar. Tillvägagångssätt skiljer sig i mångt ochmycket mellan de olika skolorna. Det handlar framförallt om huruvida det finns riktlinjer eller rutiner för hur personal ska gåtillväga då barn far illa eller misstänks fara illa samt om och på vilket sätt rektor involveras vid anmälan.

However, it shows great performance deprivation when the background noise is high. On the other hand, partial parallel interference canceller(PPIC) has the potential to combat the near-far problem and have much lower computation complexity. But its performance depends on the initial data estimate. An improved PPIC scheme is proposed in this paper to combat the near-far problem. It utilizes the advantages of the two detectors by combining them. The focus of this paper is on the BER performance and the near-far resistance capability of the proposed scheme. Computer simulations demonstrate that the proposed detector has good BER performance and near-far resistance capability.

In recent decades, political parties espousing extreme nationalist, xenophobic, and even outright racist platforms have enjoyed variable success in national elections across Europe. While a vibrant research literature has sought to better understand the sources of support for such parties, remarkably little attention has been paid to the interplay between parties and the broader social networks of extremism in which they are embedded. To remedy this deficiency, the present study examines the relations between far-right parliamentary parties and their extra-parliamentary networks. One level of analysis tests whether there is a relationship between a party’s position within a network and its sustainability. Social network analysis is employed to assess the nature and structure of ties between Belgian organizations online. In addition, systematic textual analysis of website content is used to determine how a party’s ideological position within the network impacts its sustainability. The second level of analysis is a qualitative study based on in-depth interviews with members of Flemish nationalist organization in order to better understand how actors experience social networks. Evidence suggests that the most sustainable parties are those that have dense connections with other nationalist organizations. Mapping relations between far-right parties that compete openly within the rules of institutionalized democracy and their wider social networks can provide important policy-relevant insight into contemporary challenges posed by illiberal forces.

Circumstellar disks are critical structures in the star and planet formation processes, as they provide a conduit to channel material onto the central object and supply a reservoir of dust and gas to form planets. This thesis focuses on the far-infrared, and sub-millimeter observations of circumstellar disks at two key evolutionary phases; pri- mordial proto-planetary disks, and evolved debris disks – remnants of a system that has undergone a degree of planet formation. Four individual studies of circumstellar disks are presented in this thesis. The results of a 97% complete census of far-infrared emission measured with the Herschel Space Observatory, targeting stars of spectral types M4 and later, in the Taurus molecular cloud are presented. This census is the first large-scale survey sensitive to emission across the stellar and sub-stellar boundary. Results from an initial test grid of model spectral energy distributions, generated with the radiative transfer code MCFOST, show that 73% of the observed Class II population are constrained by canonical disks that are viewed from face-on to edge-on inclinations. Sub-millimeter observations with the Caltech Sub-millimeter Observatory are presented for an association of young T-Tauri stars in the Aquila star-forming region. The results of disk frequency and disk mass of this complete census are investigated in this extremely low stellar density environment. A sub-millimeter investigation for two populations of candidate debris disk; warm and cold excess disks is presented. None of the candidate disks were detected in the sub-millimeter despite upper-limits below that expected, based on blackbody model fits to excesses at shorter wavelengths. Several scenarios are investigated in order to identify the null detection rate, such as stellar multiplicity and background-source contamination. Finally, a partially resolved sub-millimeter map of the debris disk around the HR 8799 multiple planetary system is presented. The planet formation history of the system is investigated through the witnessed morphology of the emission.
