Kuchta, Michal January 2012 (has links)
The work contains presentation of the Geocaching game, mainly from the view of an information system. It contains study of existing applications with their advantages and disadvantages. There is a specification of new application, that should solve major disadvantages of existing products in second part of the work. Design of such application, that meets the requirements, follows. The application is implemented, which is described in following chapters, with the aim to target specific problems that were solved during the implementation. Staníková, Marta January 2013 (has links)
The thesis "Geocaching in Library - possibilities of using the phenomenon of geocaching in the library service" aims to create a specific methodological material about a connection of a public library to a geocaching system. The general part of the text covers a discussion about the geocaching phenomenon itself, as well as it describes GPS spaces and a process of inserting coordinates into records of geographical authorities. It continues with infor- mation about the application interface created for the geocaching community. Elektronický geocaching / Electronic geocaching

Průcha, Jan January 2013 (has links)
The master’s thesis is focusing on electronization of worldwide known game geocaching. It contains introduction to classic geocashing, analysis of current status and outline of possible solution. The design of electronization is based on smart card Gemalto. Very important part of the thesis is cryptographic security, therefore there is explanation of symetric and asymetric cryptography. The digital signature of transmitted message is realized by RSA algorithm, which is supported by the Gemalto smart card. Due to future expandability, it is appropriate to use general protocol. For this reason was chosen the ACP protocol which the supervisor of thesis adviced. In the following part, there is introduction to smart cards, their types and detailed description of Gemalto smart card. In the chapter 7 starts the solution of this issue and there are described the programmed apps.

Fyzická zátěž při geocachingu v jednotlivých věkových kategoriích ve Středočeském kraji / Thephysicalstrain of geocachingindividualagecategories in TheCentral Bohemian region

BEČVÁŘOVÁ, Ivana January 2015 (has links)
Abstract: This thesis focuses on the physical strain of geocaching in individual age categories in The Central Bohemian region. Geocaching is a new outdoor activity, based on a popular game, which was played by generations of children and young people. The players seek for a well hidden treasure a container called "cache". This game connects younger and older age groups, who have a common aim. It supports the cooperation of different generations, whose family trips get a new motivation. The geocachers get to know interesting towns and cities, their history, national parks or other nature beauties. This final paper compares the physical strain of some age groups of geocachers from the Central Bohemian region. The thesis concentrates on the frequency, length and energetic demands of their routes.

Geocaching pohledem trvale udržitelného rozvoje / Geocaching in relation to sustainable development

Dolejšková, Adéla January 2017 (has links)
This thesis is focused on relation between geocaching and sustainable development. It deals with this relation on basis of approach of geocachers to cache-making and on basis of state of caches in different areas. Approach of geocachers to cache-making tests by semi-structured interviews analyzed by Grounded theory and by internet data analysis. State of caches in different areas tests map data analysis. Outcome shows rather positive relation of geocaching and sustainable development. Strong points of the game are in positive influence on sustaining and shift of memory of places, increasing place atractivity and partly environmetal education. Study can be beneficial for instance for protected natural areas administration, public administration or administration of destination management of areas. Scientific benefit of this thesis lies in surveying this theme and creating basis for next research. Keywords: geocaching, sustainable development, sustainable tourism, destination management, environmental education. Powered by TCPDF (www.tcpdf.org)

Lidová kultura jako faktor rozvoje cestovního ruchu v regionu Valašsko / The folk culture as a factor of tourism development in the region of Valašsko

BLÁHOVÁ, Petra January 2013 (has links)
The aim of this thesis is to highlight the importance of folk culture for tourism development and to suggest options for better evaluation and effective use of the potential of folk culture tourism in the selected region based on the results of the analysis in the region of Wallachia. In the introduction of the practical part I deal with the current supply of Wallachia. The fundamental part was quantitative marketing research in the form of a questionnaire survey. The aim of the survey was to identify the participants of tourism in terms of demographic characteristics, determine the purpose of the visit, analyse their financial expenses, and identify subjective perception of culture and assessment of infrastructure and services in the region. I designed a new product called "Wallachia hunt", which aim was to involve young people in the Wallachia culture, tourism allows participants to actively and an interesting way to travel around the region and specifically to discover its natural and cultural wealth. "Wallachia hunt" is based on the worldwide known activity called geocaching. In my work I have put together a detailed proposal for annual testing of this activity.
