This study tried to draw the issues that gained notoriety in the Labour Justice at the moment of the democracy consolidation which culminated with the approval of the New Federal Constitution and which is its correlation with the debates of the Political Science of the time. Thus, our aim is to establish the relationship between the fields of Law and Politics. / Esta pesquisa tem como objetivo principal apresentar e analisar os debates travados no Tribunal Superior do Trabalho (TST), órgão de cúpula da Justiça do Trabalho brasileira, nos anos de 1979 a 1988, ou seja, do período da abertura política à Assembléia Nacional Constituinte (ANC). O estudo busca traçar quais são os assuntos que ganharam notoriedade na Justiça do Trabalho no momento de consolidação da democracia que culminou com a aprovação da Nova Constituição Federal e qual a sua correlação com os debates da Ciência Política da época. Com isso almejamos estabelecer a relação entre os campos do Direito e da Política.
