Características dos doadores de medula óssea e seu impacto no desfecho dos pacientes submetidos a transplante alogênico no Hospital de Clinicas de Porto Alegre

Paz, Alessandra Aparecida January 2015 (has links)
Background: Hematopoietic Stem cell Transplantation (HSCT) is a curative treatment for many patients with hematological disorders. Donor – recipient genetic disparity, especially involving the HLA systems is a critical factor for HSCT outcome There are increasing evidences, however that other issues as source of stem cell, conditioning regimen, donor gender, age and CMV infection can affect HSCT outcomes. Objective: To study the influence of donor’s characteristics on the HSCT outcomes in a south Brazilian population subjected to allogeneic SCT in a single center. Methods: We retrospectively evaluated donor characteristics such as gender, age, CMV serologic status and ABO compatibility and its relation to the occurrence of acute and chronic graft versus host disease (GVHD), disease free survival (DFS) and overall survival (OS) in all patients submitted to related and unrelated allogeneic HSCT, performed between 1994 and 2012. Results: Overall 347 consecutives HSCT were included in this analysis. Related HSCT was significantly more frequent than unrelated (81.2% x 18.7%); donor and recipient median age were 34 (1- 61) and 33 (1-65), respectively. In the multivariate analyses, presence acute GVHD (33%vs 47%)p=0.04 ,with relative risk and donors older than 40 years old was associated with lower probability of OS in 5 years (41% vs 52%) p=0,038 and higher rate of acute (65.8%vs 52%) p=0.03 and chronic GVHD (43% vs 60%) p=0,015. Donor’s sex, CMV status, ABO incompatibility have not influenced 5-years survival. Conclusions: In a single center population of patients submitted to related and unrelated HSCT in southern Brazil donor older then 40 years of age is a factor negatively influencing HSCT outcome.

Žákovská interpretace grafických výstupů statistických šetření / Pupils ' interpretation of graphic representations of statistical results

Krištof, Radim January 2016 (has links)
This thesis discusses the charts and their teaching. I study in it how graphs are introduced at Czech schools, ie how graphical outputs of statistical survey (graph types, their relevance, their description, etc.) are presented in textbooks. Then I analyze examples from international research TIMSS and PISA engaged in graphs depending on the success of results of Czech pupils. It turned out that pupils have no problem with reading values from graph, while their creation or solving nonstandard given exercises makes large difficulties to pupils. Last but not least I test the ability of students correctly but also critically interpret graphs, ie whether pupils can consider if graphs present actual data or are deliberately distorted and modified. For this purpose I create questionnaire where I test through three exercises pupils of graduation classes from grammar school and vocational school and pupils of study with vocational certificate. Results of graduates from both schools were comparable. Grammar school pupils succeeded especially in solving complicated or complex tasks, vocational school pupils got better results at solving tasks that require only orientation in graph and reading values. Pupils of vocational programs reached approximately half worse results. Powered by TCPDF (www.tcpdf.org)

Vývoj urbanonymie Litoměřic / The Development of the Urbanonymy of Litoměřice

Nešev, Toma January 2015 (has links)
The task of this thesis is to describe the dynamics and evolution of street terminology in Litomeřice, with a focus on its motivation and semantic structure of word formation. The material will be obtained with excerpts from archival materials, urban plans, lists of streets and squares, records of the municipal council and other historical and newer sources. When classifying a material, which will allow an overview of the motivational circuits, which are involved in the development of urbanonyms and used word-formation processes, it will underpin Šmilauer's semantic classification of anoikonyms and Dejmek's word formation and semantic classification of urbanonyms. The Development of the street terminology will be analyzed after each time period, the definition is determined by the circumstances, which had an considerable impact in the studied urbanonymia. Quantitative changes in the use of each motivation circuit and word-formation process will be illustrated by graph, all partial findings will be incorporated into the final synthetic whole. An important part of the work will consist an alphabetical list of names of current Litoměřice streets, squares and other public spaces including the time of their formation, interpretation of the names and brief overview of all urbanonyms, which preceded the...

Šachové úlohy v kombinatorice / Chessboard problems in combinatorics

Chybová, Lucie January 2017 (has links)
This master thesis discusses various mathematical problems related to the placement of chess pieces. Solutions to the problems are mostly elementary (yet sometimes quite inventive), in some cases rely on basic knowledge of graph theory. We successively focus on different chess pieces and their tours on rectangular boards, and then examine the "independence" and "domination" of chess pieces on square boards. The text is complemented with numerous pictures illustrating particular solutions to given problems.

Steinerovská barvení kubických grafů / Steiner coloring of cubic graphs

Tlustá, Stanislava January 2017 (has links)
This thesis is dedicated to the coloring of cubic graphs. It summarizes the knowledge we have about so called Steiner coloring, which is an edge-coloring such that the colors incident with one vertex form a triple of some partial Steiner system. The main objects of interest are the projective and affine systems. Afterwards the sufficient condition for universality of the system is stated and it is observed, that all other transitive Steiner triple systems satisfy it. This thesis also contains methods of construction of the coloring for the Fano plane, for the affine system Z3 3 and for the universal system created as a product of the Fano plane and the trivial system (F7 S⊠ 3). Finally an algorithm usable for the rest of the systems and graphs with bounded treewidth is presented.

Business Process Modeling: A Logical Perspective / Modelování podnikových procesů

Panuška, Martin January 2008 (has links)
In the master's thesis we are concerned with the logical perspective on business process model-ing. The logical perspective on business process modeling has several advantages. First, being a formal logical system, first-order logic let us thoroughly understand the foundations of process modeling. Second, after we understand the logical foundations of business process modeling, we are free to build a BPM language based entirely on logic, or map an existing language onto logic, which may be useful for artificial reasoning. Third, if the business process model is mapped to logic (or another declarative language) it can be easily stored in a declarative knowledge base. Forth, logic based process models can be used in companies as a basis for knowledge manage-ment. And fifth, the science of logic offers a number of various semantic enhancements, which can be used in favor of better business process modeling expressiveness. The first objective of the thesis is to perform a thorough review of the literature of both our fields -- the business process modeling and temporal logic. The related second objective is to study the ability of logic to represent processes and the notion of time in general, and to offer techniques for logical process representation. Subsequently, the examples should be provided in order to present that the selected techniques are capable of performing what is sketched in the first paragraph. The third objective is to propose improvements of the current business process modeling approach and provide relevant examples. Eventually, means of extending the tech-niques presented can be proposed, too. The major contribution of the thesis is that it constitutes a reasonable basis for further research in the chosen field. For novices or even experienced in the subject it represents a good stepping stone.

Vizualizace dat z MBI / Visualization of the MBI data

Syrovátka, Adam January 2016 (has links)
The topic of this master's thesis is to design and implement a web application for visualization of relationships between the MBI objects in order to deliver additional functionality to the web portal of MBI - Management of Business Informatics. The first part introduces the concept of MBI and ranks the functionality of the MBI web portal from the view of user queries and visualization capabilities. The queries which are identified as the most difficult are set as the primary functional request for the new web application. The second part contains the design and implementation of the web application. Both functional and non-functional requirements are specified, including the design of user interface and visual graph searching. Based on these requirements, a suitable application architecture is selected together with a graph database and suitable query library and visualization library. The application is implemented with the selected technologies and tested against the initial requirements. The last part includes a service manual and a user documentation which describes the complete application functionality and provides a use case scenario.

Upper bounds on the star chromatic index for bipartite graphs

Melinder, Victor January 2020 (has links)
An area in graph theory is graph colouring, which essentially is a labeling of the vertices or edges according to certain constraints. In this thesis we consider star edge colouring, which is a variant of proper edge colouring where we additionally require the graph to have no two-coloured paths or cycles with length 4. The smallest number of colours needed to colour a graph G with a star edge colouring is called the star chromatic index of G and is denoted <img src="http://www.diva-portal.org/cgi-bin/mimetex.cgi?%5Cchi'_%7Bst%7D(G)" />. This paper proves an upper bound of the star chromatic index of bipartite graphs in terms of the maximum degree; the maximum degree of G is the largest number of edges incident to a single vertex in G. For bipartite graphs Bk with maximum degree <img src="http://www.diva-portal.org/cgi-bin/mimetex.cgi?k%5Cgeq1" />, the star chromatic index is proven to satisfy<img src="http://www.diva-portal.org/cgi-bin/mimetex.cgi?%20%5Cchi'_%7Bst%7D(B_k)%20%5Cleq%20k%5E2%20-%20k%20+%201" />. For bipartite graphs <img src="http://www.diva-portal.org/cgi-bin/mimetex.cgi?B_%7Bk,n%7D" />, where all vertices in one part have degree n, and all vertices in the other part have degree k, it is proven that the star chromatic index satisfies <img src="http://www.diva-portal.org/cgi-bin/mimetex.cgi?%5Cchi'_%7Bst%7D(Bk,n)%20%5Cleq%20k%5E2%20-2k%20+%20n%20+%201,%20k%20%5Cgeq%20n%20%3E%201" />. We also prove an upper bound for a special case of multipartite graphs, namely <img src="http://www.diva-portal.org/cgi-bin/mimetex.cgi?K_%7Bn,1,1,%5Cdots,1%7D" /> with m parts of size one. The star chromatic index of such a graph satisfies<img src="http://www.diva-portal.org/cgi-bin/mimetex.cgi?%5Cchi'_%7Bst%7D(K_%7Bn,1,1,%5Cdots,1%7D)%20%5Cleq%2015%5Clceil%5Cfrac%7Bn%7D%7B8%7D%5Crceil%5Ccdot%5Clceil%5Cfrac%7Bm%7D%7B8%7D%5Crceil%20+%20%5Cfrac%7B1%7D%7B2%7Dm(m-1),%5C,m%20%5Cgeq%205" />. For complete multipartite graphs where m &lt; 5, we prove lower upper bounds than the one above.
