The effect of corporate entrepreneurship, innovation and strategic renewal on business performance, business failure or organizational decline moderated by industry and firm sizeJánica Vanegas, Felipe Augusto 25 March 2020 (has links)
The largest and most successful companies in the world have not always been that way. The challenges they have faced in order to become what they are today may have been countless. In contrast, while many companies have achieved significant levels of growth, they have not all been able to maintain their success in the long term, even to the point of starting to fail. This Thesis provides a conceptual framework that tends to explain the effect of CE that encompass I and SR on BP in Colombian companies, so the lack of CE, I and SR moderated by size of and sector/industry, might lead the Colombian companies to BF or OD. The research was developed using the information provided by regulatory entities in Colombia. The information gathered included both financial and managerial information submitted to the Colombian Superintendency of Corporations by companies that have entered into the restructuring process during the last ten years, as supervised by the Colombian Superintendency of Corporations and based on the Colombian Law on Restructuring during the last decade. Out of the 131 companies included in this research, 53 (40 %) belonged to the manufacturing sector and 78 (60%) belonged to the service sector. Regarding company size, 60 (45,80%) were small, 27 (20,61%) were medium and 44 (33,59%) were big. The information gathered included both financial and managerial information submitted to the Colombian Superintendency of Corporations by the companies that have entered into the restructuring process during the last ten years, as supervised by the Colombian Superintendency of Corporations and based on the Colombian Law on Restructuring during the last decade. For this purpose, this study used the data base information provided by the Colombian Superintendency of Corporations. This research excluded information obtained from agencies other than the Colombian Superintendence of Corporations. This research did begin with a pilot study developed with a case study that took into consideration a survey and interviews with representatives of companies that have entered into a restructuring process. The Superintendency’s website provided the list of the companies in the restructuring process. This information includes the approved financial services companies and detailed information on the legal representation of those companies. A two-stage sampling process was followed in identifying the subjects for the sampling. In stage one, this research used a probability sampling that is based on stratified random sampling. In order to determine the size of the sampling, the following formula was taken into consideration: n=(N*Z2a*p*q)/((e2*(N-1)+(Z2a*p*q)), where n is the size of the sample, N the size of the universe, Z the level of confidence, e the margin of error p and q the probability of occurrence. A level of confidence of 80% and error margin of 5% was determined by the researcher. In stage 2, the selection of participants from the organizations represented in the now-established sampling frame will be selected in terms of the criteria that the selected participant be registered in the restructuration process data base provided by the Superintendency of Corporations. A single contact person will be identified within each organization, with this person furnishing the contact information of employees who, meeting qualifying selection criteria, will be selected to be the research participants. The identified participants will then be called on their telephones, and a follow up e-mail will detail the research objectives). The participants will be considered “front facing” – in other words, they are part of, or were part of the decision-making process in their companies.
For the quantitative part, the paths of the hypotheses among the main latent constructs will be then assessed using a structural equation modeling (SEM) procedure. For the quantitative part the research will use Atlas TI. As with standard regression, the basic measure of association between variables is covariance, and the dynamics of actually fitting SEM models involve covariance structure modeling (Iacobucci, 2009).
The model shows that CE has a direct influence on BP. It is important to highlight that CE is influenced only by I. SR does not have a direct impact in CE. It could be inferred that the Colombian companies do not perceive that CE is a crucial part of the strategic planning. Furthermore, CE does not impact OD. It can be inferred that the more CE activities the Colombian companies put in place the better the outcomes from the business and financial performance. Thus, the Colombian companies that are facing OD could have avoided it by implementing CE activities.

transicionalidad. / A conceptual proposal about thirdness is made on the basis of the analysis of the
different usages and meanings of this term in the psychoanalytic tradition. That also
takes into consideration its conceptual relationship with close psychoanalytic concepts,
in order to explore its likelihood as a facilitator of the psychoanalytic process. It is
suggested that thirdness relates to the activity of some mental processes inscribed in a
psychic or relational triadic structure, supported by the use of thirds, where the main
issue is to put in relation the three angles of such a structure. It is emphasized that this is
a type of mental processing characterized by the linking, that involves realities
concerned with the intrapsychic, relational and social. Functions, components and
properties of thirdness and its connection with pathology and clinical work are
established as well as some foundational elements over which a therapeutic agency
would be set up upon.

These form interconnections of devices within the integrated circuits. Through these contacts is where the flow of charge carriers enters and leaves from one device to another, by the potential difference that is applied.
Contacts could be: Schottky, those that conduct charge in one direction and in the other offer resistance, or ohmic contact, which offer low resistance to the current ow in both directions.
It is of interest to obtain ohmic contacts, from Schottky contacts through annealing.
Schottky contacts were obtained by the evaporation of aluminum on different dopal silicon samples, which were made by Physical Vapor Deposition. To analyze the ohmic contact formation process in the samples, these were characterized electronically by means of the current density vs. voltage curves (J-V ), before and after annealing, at temperatures of 500_C , 550_C y 600_C for 10 minutes each Schottky contacts obtained in the p-type silicon samples, with annealing at 500_C, behaved as ohmic contact. For the following annealing temperatures (550_C y 600_C) the contact resistance increases, because a p+ region is formed at the silicon-aluminum interface, which could slow the conduction by thermal emission. It is also observed that, at higher doping concentration in the samples, the contact resistance decreases, since the tunneling transport through the barrier begins to dominate.
Schottky contacts obtained in the n-type silicon samples, with annealing at 500_C, improve the conduction in the samples with low doping concentration, while
in the the samples with of high doping concentration, the resistance increases. This
is because a p+ layer is formed at the silicon-alumininum interface, and with the
following annealing temperatures (550_C y 600_C), the p+ region continues growing.
The contact resistances increase in the low doping concentration, in the medium doping
concentration sample, the Schottky barrier disappears, and in the high doping
concentration sample the space charge region changes to an inversion, it will now
form a Schottky p-type silicon contact.

Benavides Allain, Bruno Fernando 07 April 2016 (has links)

progreso social Medio Alto.
4 versus el resultado de las tres primeras zonas / The main goal of this study is to calculate the Social Progress Index (SPI) for the San
Miguel district and for its four zones in which it has been divided by the District’s
Municipality. To do this, a non-experimental investigation with a descriptive scope with a
quantitative approach and a transversal analysis process has been carried out. This
investigation has a special importance since it is the first time that SPI is measured in the
district of San Miguel, besides being one of the first Perú’s districts where it is calculated.
For data collection, primary and secondary data sources were used. The results of a
survey of 58 questions that provided information on the 12 components of the IPS were used
as the primary data source. This survey was applied to a representative sample of 400
households, distributed equally in the four zones. As a secondary data source, information
from different databases belonging to accredited organizations was used
For the SPI calculation, the steps proposed by the Social Progress Imperative model
were followed, which in summary consisted of: (a) identifying the concepts to be measured,
(b) identifying and selecting the indicators and their data sources, (c) consolidate the
indicators database, (d) define the utopias and dystopias for the indicators, (e) perform the
statistical analysis and internal consistency analysis for the indicators, (f) calculate the beta
index; and (g) adjust the Social Progress Index according to the sensitivity analysis,
benchmark and expert analysis.
For the classification of the results, the scale defined by the Social Progress Index has
been used, which goes from zero to 100 points. The result of the present study shows that the
SPI for the district of San Miguel has a score of 71.23 that indicates that it has a level of
social progress Medium High. This result is constructed with the average of the score of the
three dimensions: (a) basic human needs with a result of 85.70, (b) opportunity with a result
of 67.65; and (c) foundations of wellbeing with a result of 60.60. The above shows a Very
High score in the dimension of basic human needs and considerably lower scores in the other
two dimensions. In relation to the results by zone, Zone 1 obtained the highest score of the
district with 75.24 points, Zone 2 obtained 74.51 points; Zone 3 obtained 70.42 points and
finally Zone 4 obtained 66.17. The above outcomes reveal important differences in the social
progress levels between Zone 4 versus the result of the other three zones.

Plan de marketing para Baterías NEONMatzza Pantoja, Christiam Ronald, Ramírez Huamán, Edwin James, Peralta Izarra, José Edinson, Ramos Chávez, Yera Lucía 29 May 2019 (has links)
This presentation talks about an organization named NEON. NEON is a Peruvian
company that manufactures, sales, and distributes car batteries for the auto market.
NEON wants to keep being the leader in the market and for that reason, they
implemented three types of batteries: (a) One is the expert type - this type of battery
was created for all public transportation; (b) The second one is high performance -
this was created for all cars; and (c) the last one is the Silver type - which is directed
to high end vehicles, cars and trucks. In the last few years, NEON had faced strong
competition from other companies such as CAPSA and Record, where the last one has
grown steadily and profitable becoming a strong competitive thread for NEON. In
order to maintain NEON as a leader and able to face the demands of the market, we
have created a strategic marketing plan and an operational plan that describes in detail
the real situation of the organization and the next steps to follow so we can face the
demands of the market. This document will offer us all the investigation results and
steps to follow that will help NEON maintain its leadership in the market and to
develop new marketing segments. On the other hand, we also show how NEON
could be an organization sociably responsible and financially sustainable with the
conversion of their industrial waste in fertilizers and reducing their negative impact in
the environment.
