Byggbranschens efterhängande utveckling inom digitalisering ligger tillgrund för att projekt går miste om de fördelar som tillkommer vid implementering av digitala verktyg. Då byggprojekt drivs och framförs av byggritningar, är ritningarna i sin tur en stor faktor till hur effektivt projektet genomförs för samtliga arbetsroller. Denna studie syftar därför på att specifikt undersöka hur och om digitala helplansritningar i skala 1:50 bidrar till att effektivisera arbetet i ett byggprojekt. För detta har en kvalitativ studie genomförts där författarna gjort en observation på ett pågående projekt samt genomfört intervjuer och en litteraturstudie. Resultatet visade att de primära effekterna av att implementera ritningarna var att de intervjuande rollerna fick en ökad överblick av projektet och blev mer säkra i sitt beslutsfattande. Vidare diskuteras konkreta exempel på verkliga situationer där fel i produktionen som minskas som en följd av helplansritningar.Slutligen indikerar denna studie att projekt gynnas av att implementera helplansritningar då de positiva aspekter som presenteras kompenserar de fåtal negativa aspekterna. Sammanfattningsvis visar studien på att helplansritningarna verkar för en god framtida standard i den svenska byggbranschen. / The construction industry’s ongoing evolution in digitalization lays the groundwork for projects to miss out on the benefits associated with the implementation of digital tools. Since construction projects are driven and conveyed through construction drawings, these drawings play a pivotal role in the efficiency of project execution across all roles. Therefore, this study specifically aims to investigate how and whether digital floor plans in a 1:50 scale contribute to streamlining work in a construction project.To achieve this, a qualitative study was conducted, involving observations of an ongoing project, as well as interviews and a literature review. The results indicated that the primary effects of implementing these drawings included that the interviewed roles gained an increased overview of the project and became more confident in their decision-making. Furthermore, a specific example of real-life situations was discussed, demonstrating a reduction in production errors as a result of the implementation of floor plans.Finally, this study suggests that projects benefit from implementing floor plans as the positive aspects presented outweigh the few negative aspects. In conclusion, the study demonstrates that floor plans work towards a promising future standard in the Swedish construction industry.
