Orientador: Noêmia Pereira Neves / Resumo: O presente estudo trata do currículo de ensino do curso de Serviço Social da UCDB, visto como uma variável a ser considerada na formação profissional do assistente social, analisando-o, não só quanto a proposta pedagógica nele inserida, mas, e principalmente, quanto a forma como essa proposta foi entendida pelos professores que a elaboraram. Baseia-se na corrente dialética helleriana, através da qual analisa o pressuposto de que é a intencionalidade e o compromisso da ação docente que direcionam o ensino e a aprendizagem. Tem, ainda, a intenção de resgatar a história da criação da Faculdade de Serviço Social de Campo Grande - Mato Grosso do Sul. / Abstract: The study in hand looks at the UCDB teaching curriculum as a variable to be considered in the professional training of the social worker, analyzing it not only as to the pedagogical proposal it contains, but, and mainly, as to the way in which this proposal was understood by the teachers who elaborated it. The study is based on the hellerian dialectic trend used to show the presupposition that it is the intention and the teaching commitment which direct the teaching-learning process. The study has the further purpuse of redeeming the history of the founding of the Social Work Faculty in Campo Grande, South Mato Grosso. / Doutor
