Film och genus i undervisningen : Filmanalys som ett verktyg för värdegrundsarbetet / Film and Gender in the Classroom : Filmanalysis as a tool for discussing values

Arsovska, Martina January 2019 (has links)

Personality traits and cognitive abilities A correlational study on facet level of traits

Kjellvertz, Katarina January 2018 (has links)
The relation between Personality and Intelligence has interested researchers for decades. This study considers the relationship between the two constructs on a facet level. A nonclinical sample (N = 130) completed Swedish University Scale of Personality (SSP) (Gustavsson, 2000b) and Wechsler Adult Intelligence Scale, forth edition (WAIS-IV) (Wechsler, 2010). The result indicated only a modest significant negative correlation between the personality dimension Neuroticism and Verbal comprehensive index. The modest result might be explained by the informal test-taking situation, since test anxiety has been suggested to be a mediator for neuroticism and cognitive abilities. Further, on a facet level, a significant negative correlation was found between the trait somatic anxiety and to verbally express and understand vocabulary. Additionally, findings implied that the variable year of education was the most powerful predictor for verbal comprehension, which suggests the importance of a simultaneous examination of mediators.

Sara-Vide Ericson: Identitet - fiktion och verklighet

Franz, Linnéa January 2019 (has links)
This essay explores Sara-Vide Ericsons paintings and to what extent they portrait her identity. This is viewed upon through two different theories concerning identity presented by Marcia Pointon and Shearer West. The role memories play in Ericsons paintings, both consciously and subconscious ones are examined through Sigmund Freuds theory of Screen Memories. The applied method is an extensive interview with the artist herself. What I have found is that Ericsons paintings, including both nature, herself, and different textiles all to a certain extent portray her identity; they are narrative both in themselves and in their analysis of who the artist is. The paintings that depict both the artist and textiles can be viewed as self-portraits as they tell the viewer something about who the artist is. Her professional identity has also been explored and viewed as experimental and explorative in its abstract and representative style, which gives the paintings a mysterious tone, making them attractive to a wider analysis within the viewer. The relationship between fiction and reality has been examined and I have found that fiction is allowed to take over motifs in order to convey a true emotion or a core feeling.

Medias perspektiv på personerna bakom svensk damfotbolls guldår 1984 : Om sociala strukturer och social handling som gör skillnad / The medias perspective about the persons behind the golden year of Swedish women's football 1984 : About social structures and social actions that make a difference.

Hansson, Oskar January 2019 (has links)
In this study I describe the persons who got the most publicity in media during womens football European Championship in 1984. The aim of this study is to examine what the persons are saying about the social structures in the Swedish football family in 1984 and what social actions they did to the raise of womens football. The persons that I focus on is Anette Börjesson, Pia Sundhage, Ulf Lyfors, Ann Jansson, Anna Svenjeby and Lena Videkull. The connection between these people are that they were all part of the successful Swedish national team that become historical when they won the first official womens European Championship in football 1984. I examine what the persons has to say in the Swedish newspapers Aftonbladet, Expressen, Dagens Nyheter and Svenska Dagbladet. I relate my results to the theories that Britt Marie Ringfjord is presenting in her book “Fotboll är livet – En medieetnografisk studie om fotbollstjejer och TV-sport” about social structures and social actions. My result is that it was a clear social structure in the womens football in the year of 1984. During the girls childhood it was the boys who decided if the girls were allowed to play football in the school playground, or not. Even when the girls become older it was clear that they didn’t have same possibilities as the boys, because they didn’t have as much organized teams to play in as the boys had. When the girls became women they didn’t get paid as the men did and they didn’t played in front of as much spectators as the men. My study also show that the women not did play football for the fame or the money, because it was not much fame or money in womens football. They played football because they loved to do it and to be with friends.
