The purpose of this essay has been to conduct a nuanced and comprehensible analysis of the SoundCloud rap genre, consisting of two parts: a comparative analysis and a class analysis. With the comparative analysis the essay has illustrated the differences in rap lyrics between the contemporary SoundCloud rappers Yung Lean and Lil Pump with the lyrics in 1990’s rap songs by Nas and The Notorious B.I.G. This analysis has in part been conducted with the help of the concept of signifiers to understand what the content of the lyrics communicates to the listener. The class analysis has then placed these changes into a economical and societal perspective. In this way, the essay not only highlights what changes have occurred, but also why they have done so. In the analysis it is shown that signifiers are still used but that their content and area of usage has changed. This is, in part, ascribed to the globalization of hiphop and rap as a phenomenon during the 1990’s and 2000’s, but also because of changes in culture and the economy during these years. This has, as the analysis shows, resulted in that the lyrical content of rap has gained a larger focus on uncompromising excess without context.

Essän behandlar hur den konstnärliga processen relaterar till de skeenden och upplevelser i livet som vi inte kan vara säkra på att vi tillförlitiligt kan tolka. / Utställningen bestod av 3D-utskrifter ingjutna i gips, samt ett draperi och kopparplåt med screentryck på. Verken i utställningne opererarade på flertalet nivåer och påtalade samband mellan teknologi, tid och död.

The body of marketing is drastically changing, pushing frontiers in numerous of domains, geographically, behaviourally and strategically with much enhanced technology in an increasingly globalized world. As this phenomenon pushes forward on many fronts, it is worthwhile to ask what will happen in the near future in this field. In today’s society ‘Influencer Marketing’ is known to be an incredibly popular and successful marketing tool, where one might be wondering: What is a plausible future in this area? What are the potential threats and challenges (if any) that we may encounter? What drives Influencer Marketing in organizations and what questions do they have about its impacts and measurements? I am hoping to fulfil this gap with the assistance of Critical Future Studies, Inayatullah (1990,1998) Luke Goode, Michael Godhe (2017,2018) in analysing the various facts and information that are being addressed and most importantly critically assess what is being missed. This Master thesis is a critical study, reflecting the future thinking and strategies relating to Emotional Branding, Danny Brown, Sam Fiorella (2013) made by experts in the fields of Public Relations, using a quantitative content analysis and semi-structured interviews. The chosen methods demonstrate two distinctive results, the content analysis showing a rather positive overview whereas the semi-structured interviews unpack the complexities and challenges in Influencer Marketing and has a negative stance towards its future. Future Studies, is a rigorous branch of study, where unfortunately no one can know for certain what the future holds, however I believe that it is important that we acknowledge values and invite scholars to join this critical dialogue about possible futures and the way we can imagine and discuss the future. The results in this thesis also further demonstrates the necessity in studying this branch of study due to the contradicting answers that are being addressed in the analysis. This thesis also intends to signify that it will not be closure but an encouragement to consider the impetus for a much larger conversation.

Syftet med studien är att få en ökad förståelse för hur elever inom sfi upplever den egna språkinlärningen i samband med utbildningstiden på sfi. Frågeställningen är följande: Vilka faktorer påverkar elevernas språkinlärning i svenska som andraspråk i skolan samt under fritiden enligt dem själva? Studien använde kvalitativa semistrukturerade intervjuer som metod. Intervjuer genomfördes med sex sfi-studerande som valdes ut genom ett kriterieurval. Som analysmetod av det empiriska materialet användes kvalitativ analys. Fem kategorier framkom i resultatet; Tiden, Vad är viktigt att lära sig, Hur lär man sig?, Främjande och motiverande faktorer och Försvårande faktorer. Den slutliga indelningen i resultatdelen i nämnda kategorierna har inte skarpa skiljelinjer då delar av resultatet många gånger går in i varandra men jag ser kategorierna som motiverade då de också kunde belysa liknande faktorer ur olika aspekter.   Resultatet visar att de intervjuade ser positivt på utbildningens längd trots att den varierar för olika elever men de har synpunkter på veckoschemat, särskilt studier lagda heldagar. Viktigt för dem var också att lära sig tala och skriva på ett så grammatiskt korrekt som möjligt då de ansåg att det kunde underlätta integration i samhället. De ansåg att de lär sig bäst genom interaktion, stöttning i studierna samt att undervisningen bedrivs på en individuellt anpassad nivå. Både integrativ och instrumentell motivation ur olika aspekter lyftes fram som viktiga. Försvårande omständigheter enligt de intervjuade var att de ansåg introduktionen för kort eller att den var obefintlig. De hade även synpunkter på det kontinuerliga intaget i kurserna samt att elevgrupper på olika studievägar och kurser tidvis blandades. Försvårande var också att flera av de intervjuade arbetar och studerar samtidigt vilket leder till förkortad tid för återhämtning och vila samt frånvaron i skolan blir hög. De som har familj och barn vill inte försumma dem och såg det som problematiskt att behöva ägna delar av fritiden åt läxor, läsning inför prov och repetition.
