Fundamental linguistic approaches to learning linguistic personality and describing sociolinguistic portrait are summarized and main characteristics of speeches of the presidential campaign are reflected in the work. The author has identified cognitive and pragmatic specifics of sociolinguistic portrait of Donald Trump.
