Analisa o contexto racista na cidade de Macapá, em que emergiu o movimento negro amapaense. Enfoca a configuração das relações raciais a partir das políticas estatais, como também a recente aproximação da UNA com o governo estadual. O estudo, na perspectiva da história oral, lança mão de entrevistas feitas com sócios fundadores, militantes efetivos e ex-militantes, selecionados de acordo com o período de sua participação no movimento. Recorre aos documentos dos arquivos da UNA e bibliografias específicas sobre história do Amapá e do negro no Brasil / Abstract: This dissertation is about the reconstitution of the trajectory of the Union of the Black of Amapá (UNA) at the period of 1986-2000, in order to realize the dimension of racism in life of black population. It analyses the racist context in the city of Macapá, where the black movement of Amapá has emerged. It centers on the configuration of racial relations from the state politics, as well as the recent approximation of UNA with the state government. The study, in the perspective of oral history, encompasses interviews with the founders of the movement, effective militants and ex-militants, chosen according to the period of their participation in the union. And it utilizes the documents of UNA files and specific bibliographies about the history of Amapá and black people in Brazil / Mestrado / Mestre em História
