Este projeto de pesquisa tem por objetivo estudar o desenvolvimento da linguagem da iluminação cênica em sua relação com os caminhos da encenação. O eixo central é a transformação da função da iluminação cênica de instrumento da visibilidade a elemento estrutural e estruturante da escrita cênica, constituindo-se como linguagem. Na primeira parte, através da pesquisa da luz no teatro expressionista alemão, pretende-se pontuar os trabalhos exemplares, de forma a descrever esse processo de transformação e suas variáveis, instituindo conceitos para uma análise específica da iluminação cênica. Na segunda parte, usamos desses conceitos para analisar outras poéticas da luz: o trabalho do encenador Erwin Piscator e o teatro da Bauhaus. / This research aims to investigate the development of Lighting Design language in its relation to the course of theatrical production. The central axis is the function of scenic transformation from instrument of visibility to structural and structuring element of the scenic narrative, constituting itself as language. In the first part, through the research of lighting in German Expressionist theatre, it is intended to point out the representative works and to describe this transformation process and its variants establishing concepts for a specific analyses of theatrical lightning. In the second part, these concepts are used to analyze other lightning poetics: Erwin Piscator´s theatrical work and the Bauhaus´s theatre.

A proposta trata da importância da iluminação cênica como linguagem e perpassa a inquietação que parte de experiências da autora como bailarina e desemboca em seu processo artístico como iluminadora, observadora e coparticipante da cena, fazendo um apanhado teórico sobre a função expressiva, estética identificadas na iluminação cênica e os atos performativos imbricados no fazer artístico do iluminador. Partindo de experimentações da artista, aprofundando exercícios vivenciados nas disciplinas do mestrado, a autora propõe o esboço de um dispositivo metodológico, na significação de uma poética como programa de arte, denominando assim como a Poética dos Elementos a partir da associação dos elementos na natureza (água, terra, ar, fogo e éter) com os aportes teóricos que embasam o estudo, quais sejam: a visibilidade, de Calvino; pelo “pensar por imagens” com os arquétipos de elementos da natureza propostos por Bachelard e a ideologia de Trajeto Criativo, de Sônia Rangel. A dissertação apresenta como proposição para a criação em iluminação cênica, a estratégia deste dispositivo metodológico, que está diretamente relacionada com a operacionalização do processo criativo, sendo apontadas aí as ações performáticas do fazer artístico, antes da performance do iluminador cênico. / This research, developed in the course of Master of Arts of PPGARTES / UFPA, comprises the creative path of the author, artist-illuminator-researcher. The proposal deals with the importance of stage lighting as a language and it goes through the restlessness that starts from the author 's experiences as a dancer and ends in her artistic process as an illuminator, observer and coparticipante of the scene, making a theoretical collection about the expressive function, aesthetics identified in enlightenment and the performative acts imbricated in the artistic making of the illuminator. The author proposes the outline of a methodological device, in the meaning of a poetics as an art program, thus calling the Poetics of the Elements from the association of elements in nature Water, earth, air, fire and ether) with the theoretical contributions that support the study, namely: visibility, by Calvin; By "thinking for images" with the archetypes of elements of nature proposed by Bachelard and the ideology of Creative Path, by Sônia Rangel. The dissertation presents as a proposition for the creation in scenic lighting, the strategy of this methodological device, which is directly related to the operationalization of the creative process, being pointed there the performance actions of artistic making, before the performance of the scenic illuminator.
