This work aimed to understand the identity of female adolescents in a socio-educational center in the city of Manaus/AM. The main objective of the research was to understand how the identity of these adolescents was constructed through their life histories and the processes imbricated, as the consequences/repercussions of the infraction act regarding identity. The epistemological basis for this study was the socio-historical approach. The participants in this study were 4 (four) female adolescents. The qualitative research had as instruments the semi-structured interview and the sociodemographic questionnaire. For the analysis of the data, the life history narrative proposed by Ciampa (1987) was used, with the perspective of the syntagma Identity-Metamorphosis-Emancipation. In addition, we adopted the theoretical-methodological framework of the Net of Meanings that seeks to understand the meanings attributed by the subjects, providing significant subsidies to fill the gaps in the analysis of the narrative of life history. In this way, the following results were obtained from the analysis of life histories: history of losses; abandonment; precarious family support and/or significant figures; beginning in the infraction practice because of relatives, companions or friends; early use of narcotics; school and other institutions little present in the lives of adolescents, etc. It is expected that with this research that the adolescents interviewed reflect on their life histories and, therefore, could construct/weave narratives not associated to the criminal act. At the same time, it is expected to contribute to the researches in the area, considering that there are few studies with female adolescents in the socio-educational system. / A infração juvenil feminina tem sido negligenciada há bastante tempo por estudos científicos. Esta pesquisa visou compreender a identidade de adolescentes do sexo feminino numa unidade de internação e semiliberdade na cidade de Manaus/AM. O objetivo principal da pesquisa foi entender como foi construída a identidade infratora dessas adolescentes por meio de suas histórias de vida e os processos imbricados, como as consequências/repercussões do ato infracional no que tange à identidade. A base epistemológica norteadora deste trabalho foi a abordagem Sócio-Histórica. Os sujeitos dessa pesquisa foram 4 (quatro) adolescentes do sexo feminino que cumpriam medida socioeducativa de internação e/ou semiliberdade. A pesquisa de cunho qualitativo teve como instrumentos a entrevista semiestruturada e o questionário sociodemográfico. Para a análise dos dados, utilizou-se a narrativa da história de vida proposta por Ciampa (1987), com o olhar do sintagma Identidade-Metamorfose-Emancipação. Além disso, adotou-se o referencial teórico-metodológico da Rede de Significações que busca compreender os sentidos e significados atribuídos pelos sujeitos, fornecendo subsídios significativos para preencher as lacunas da análise da narrativa da história de vida. Dessa forma, obteve-se como resultados a partir da análise das trajetórias de vida: histórico de perdas; abandonos; precário suporte da família e/ou figuras significativas; início na prática infracional por causa de familiares, companheiros ou amigos; uso precoce de entorpecentes; escola e outras instituições pouco presentes na vida das jovens, etc. Esperou-se com essa pesquisa que as adolescentes entrevistadas refletissem sobre suas histórias de vida e, assim, pudessem construir/tecer narrativas não atreladas ao ato delituoso. Ao mesmo tempo, espera-se contribuir com as pesquisas na área, tendo em vista que há poucas pesquisas com adolescentes do sexo feminino no sistema socioeducativo.
