Creativity leads to positivity: improving creativity in occupational therapy practitioners

Occupational therapy practitioners (OTPs) are negatively affected by a rise in healthcare burnout. Increased job demands (Broiler et al.,1986; Bessolo; 2015; Derakhshanrad et al., 2019; Stephenson, 2019) and the COVID-19 pandemic (Kuhl et al., 2021) have exacerbated work-related stress and burnout in OTPs leading to a decline in creativity (Hickey, 2016; Oven & Lobe, 2019; Derakhshanrad et al., 2019) which may result in decreased quality of care for their clients. The stress and burnout that OTPs experience may have a negative impact on their ability to generate novel ideas and problem-solve (Hickey, 2016). The clinical consequences that result from decreased quality of care are non-client-centered treatments, reduced joy and satisfaction at work, and difficulty maintaining motivation. The proposed intervention is a three-hour webinar, Creativity Leads to Positivity, which educates OTPs on different creative thinking strategies. During the webinar, the 8-P theoretical framework — a creative thinking theory — as well as four creative thinking strategies — the De Bono technique, Synectics, the Creative Problem Solving model, and Design Thinking — will be discussed.

Farmacinėsė rinkose produktai yra skirstomi į etinius ir generinius. Novatorišku produktu priimta laikyti etinių kompanijų sukurtas naujas vaisto formules, tuo tarpu generinių kompanijų vaistai nelaikomi novatoriškais. Sėkmingas novatoriškų veterinarinės farmacijos produktų įdiegimas į rinką priklauso nuo veiksnių, įtakojančių sėkmę identifikavimo kiekvienoje šalyje ir jų adaptavimo. Tai vienas iš svarbių žingsnių siekiant ilgalaikio konkurencinio pranašumo. Baigiamojo darbo tikslas – nustatyti novatoriškų veterinarinės farmacijos produktų sėkmės veiksnius skirtingose Baltijos šalių rinkose. Baigiamojo darbo metu buvo apklausta 58 smulkių gyvūnų veterinarijos klinikų specialistų iš trijų Baltijos šalių. Apžvelgus literatūrą nustatyta, kad veterinarinių vaistų naudojimą įtakoja įvairūs ekonominiai, tarprūšiniai, naudojimo būdų bei atsparumo antibiotikams veiksniai. Kokybinio tyrimo metu atlikta 6 ekspertų apklausa tam, kad nustatytume sėkmės veiksnių charakteristikas įvedant novatorišką produktą. Sėkmės veiksniai buvo suskirstyti į keturias kategorijas: nuo produkto priklausantys, nuo rinkos, nuo rinkodarinių veiksmų bei gydytojų išsilavinimo ir noro tobulėti. In pharmaceutical market existing products are devided in to the ethic and generic. It is used to consider that inovative product only can be developt by ethic company, whereas generic product can not be inovative. Successful introduction of innovative veterinary medicines in to the market depends on identifying the factors influencing this success in each country individually and accordingly adaptation process. This is one of key indicator in order to obtain long term competitive advantages. The purpose of this research work – to identify introduction success factors of innovative veterinary medicine in to the different Baltic countries. During research work period has been questioned 58 specialists of companion animal veterinary clinics from three Baltic countries. After review of literature I can state, that usage of veterinary medicine influencing following factors such as: economical, interspecies, ways of usages and susceptibility to antibiotics. During qualitative research part survey of 6 experts was done in order to determine characteristic of success factors introducing new medicines. Para minimizar a possibilidade de que o aluno venha a abandonar a escola ou ser reprovado ao final do ano letivo, aumentando, respectivamente, a taxa de abandono escolar e a taxa de reprovação da escola, o PAE propõe ações de equidade relacionadas à gestão escolar que deverão melhorar a autoestima do aluno, assim como, discute ações que focam na identificação das aptidões do aluno e reafirmam o papel educativo da escola, combinado com os aspectos positivos do modelo meritocrático de avaliação aplicado pelas escolas públicas. Outro aspecto abordado no PAE refere-se à proposição de ações que minimizem a constatação de que os gestores escolares e professores da escola pública não se preocupam em oferecer mecanismos que melhorem a formação do conjunto de todos os alunos ingressantes, visto que, costuma-se privilegiar os alunos que possuem mais facilidade para assimilar os conteúdos curriculares, em detrimento dos alunos que têm maior dificuldade de aprendizagem. Para avaliar as ações e promover a discussão da busca pela equidade na escola pública do Estado do Rio de Janeiro, este PAE propõe o desenho de um programa piloto no Colégio Estadual Leopoldina da Silveira (CELS). Os alunos ingressantes na 1º série do ensino médio do CELS em 2012 foram submetidos aos módulos de Matemática e Língua Portuguesa da Prova Brasil, e os alunos que apresentaram grau inferior a 30% das habilidades nessas duas disciplinas sofreram detalhada análise de seus indicadores socioeconômicos e participaram de entrevistas de grupo focal. Os resultados obtidos são utilizados para propor esse PAE que oferece a equidade dentro do ambiente escolar, de modo a melhorar o desempenho dos alunos nas avaliações internas e externas e nos resultados gerais da escola pública; além de adequar processos de ensino para que eles possam ir estruturando suas expectativas de vida para após a conclusão do ensino médio. / This paper presents a proposal for a Educational Action Plan (SAP) aimed at the development of equity shares in public school environment that allows the student entering the school assimilate the curriculum minimum. The PAE proposes equity shares related to school management which should improve the student's self-esteem, as well as discusses actions that focus on identifying the student's skills and reaffirm the educational role of the school, combined with the positive aspects of meritocratic evaluation model applied in public schools. Another aspect addressed in the SAP refers to propose actions that minimize the finding that the school administrators and public school teachers do not bother to offer mechanisms to improve the formation of the set of all new students. To evaluate the actions and promote discussion of the search for equity in public school in the State of Rio de Janeiro, this PAE proposes the design of a pilot program in the State College Leopoldina da Silveira (CELS). Students entering the 1st grade of secondary school of CELS in 2012 were submitted to the modules of Mathematics and Portuguese of Exam Brazil, and students that showed less than 30% of the skills in these two subjects underwent detailed analysis of its socioeconomic indicators and participated focus group interviews. The results are used to propose that SAP offering equity within the school environment in order to improve the performance of students in internal and external evaluations and the overall results of the public school, besides tailor teaching processes so they can go structuring their expectations for life after high school graduation.

O emprego de processos construtivos inovadores sem o domínio da tecnologia apropriada e sem a observância de requisitos mínimos de desempenho, conduz de maneira geral, a edifícios com sérios problemas patológicos. Por estas razões, a Alvenaria Estrutural, que tem sido empregada com prioridade na construção de edifícios habitacionais, nos últimos anos no Brasil, tem apresentado aqueles problemas com indesejável extensão e gravidade. Este trabalho procura estabelecer a tecnologia mais adequada para a construção de edifícios em Alvenaria Estrutural Não Armada, em especial, para a que utiliza o bloco sílico-calcário. Procura-se também salientar os aspectos ainda não suficientemente conhecidos e que necessitam, por isto, ser pesquisados. São apresentadas as principais características dos materiais empregados. O elemento construtivo essencial do processo - a parede resistente - é sistemicamente analisado sob diferentes abordagens. Como complemento, a análise é extendida para o edifício. No estudo, é enfatizado o mais comum e menos compreendido problema patológico da alvenaria sílico-calcária: as fissuras por retração na secagem. A tecnologia construtiva apropriada é estritamente condicionada pela necessidade de que seja evitada a ocorrência destas fissuras. Em resumo, este trabalho objetiva colaborar para o projeto e a construção de edifícios competentes e duráveis, o que, infelizmente, não tem sido a regra, quando processos inovadores são empregados. / Pathological buildings problems certainly occur when innovative constructive processes are employed without knowing their own technology and without getting to minimum performance requirements. Based on these reasons, the engineered masonry which has been mainly employed on housing constructions in Brazil during the last years, shows up severs pathological problems. This study aims to describe the most appropriate known technology for unreinforced engineered brickworks, mainly for that one employing calcium silicate bricks. Therefore, the important parameters which are not yet suitably known are pointed out, thus requiring further research. The materials main characteristics are introduced. The bearing wall which is the most important constructing element is systemically analised under different approaches. Coming at the end the concepts are extended to the whole building itself. Emphasis is given in this study to drying shrinkage cracking as the most usual problem in calcium silicate brickworks and to its mechanisms not yet fully understood. The correct building technology avoids the cracking problems by using the mentioned materials and processes. Summarising , this study intends to cooperate for the correct and durable housing buildings which unfortunately are not usual nowadays when innovative constructive processes are applied.

The theoretical part introduces the transformation of the Czech educational system since 1989. The key competences system is also introduced. The reading literacy, educational systém Step by Step and method of monrning letter is also introduced. In the practical part, 20 morning letters are analysed and then methodical approaches and tools how to use the morning letter are described.

This thesis is about an inovative program in teaching English language called EATS. The goal was to find out the effectivness of this program on the basis of repeated observations, didactic testing and interview. In the theoretical part the position of English language in the curricular documents is discussed. Then there is the description of the communicative approach to the language learning which is very useful in nowadays globalised society.The important role of the native speaker is emphasized because he brings the authentic element into the education process and gives pupils good language model. Also the early education in foreign languages is part of this work. Integrated language learning is described on the ilustration of CLIL and its alternative which could be called "language preparation". The aim was to show an example of a good practice which could inspire someone.
