In it we analyze the impact of economic transformations of recent decades and its implications for the organization and management of work processes on educational guidelines implemented since the 1990s, undertaken with the objective of adapting the training of manpower and conceptions of education goals and requirements arising from the capital. Characterized the crisis of capital, its strategies for recovery and its impact on the world of work. We discuss the changes occurring in the workplace and the consequences of this process in education and teaching of secondary school teachers in São Luís. Finally, we analyze the concepts of instability presented by teachers with a view to identifying how they analyze the occurrence of this process in teaching, taking as an empirical field analysis the Center for Teaching Liceu Maranhense, Center for Teaching Professor. Mário Martins Meireles and Center for Teaching Paulo Freire. The organization of this research was based on historical-critical approach, since the reality is contradictory and this research is the basic concern of approaching the maximum of the studied reality. For this, we use semi-structured interview as a methodological procedure. In the view of all research subjects, there is a growing process of impoverishment of teaching in Public State of Education in all aspects, in other words, the conditions of infrastructure and work, in the form of contracts of temporary teachers, in wage conditions of the troops and contractors and, especially, in excessive working hours. It found the teachers' understanding that only by organizing the class and the strengthening of an institution that is truly representative of the category is possible to fight for more investment in training for professional development, decent work and dignity in the profession. / Este estudo localiza-se na linha de pesquisa Estado e Gestão Educacional. Nele analisam-se os impactos das transformações econômicas das últimas décadas e suas repercussões sobre as formas de organização e gestão dos processos de trabalho sob as diretrizes educacionais implementadas desde a década de 1990, realizadas com o objetivo de adequar a formação da mão de obra e as concepções de educação aos objetivos e exigências oriundos do capital. Caracteriza-se a crise do capital, suas estratégias de recomposição e sua repercussão no mundo do trabalho. Discutem-se as mudanças ocorridas no mundo do trabalho e os reflexos desse processo na educação e no trabalho docente dos professores do Ensino Médio em São Luís. Por fim, analisam-se as concepções de precarização apresentadas pelos professores, na perspectiva de identificar como eles analisam a ocorrência desse processo no trabalho docente, tomando-se como campo empírico de análise o Centro de Ensino Liceu Maranhense, Centro de Ensino Prof. Mário Martins Meireles e o Centro de Ensino Paulo Freire. A organização desta pesquisa pautou-se na abordagem histórico-crítica, uma vez que a realidade é contraditória e esta pesquisa tem a preocupação básica de se aproximar ao máximo da realidade estudada. Para tanto, fez-se uso da entrevista semiestruturada enquanto procedimento metodológico. Na concepção da totalidade dos sujeitos da pesquisa, existe um processo crescente de precarização do trabalho docente na Rede Pública Estadual de Ensino em todos os aspectos, ou seja, nas condições de infraestrutura e de trabalho, na forma de contrato dos professores temporários, nas condições salariais dos efetivos e dos contratados e, principalmente, na excessiva jornada de trabalho. Constatou-se a compreensão dos professores de que somente através da organização da categoria e do fortalecimento de uma instituição que seja realmente representativa da categoria é possível lutar por mais investimento na formação, por valorização profissional, condições dignas de trabalho e dignidade na profissão.
