Para tanto, à luz da psicologia social e da psicologia escolar e educacional em uma perspectiva crítica, realizamos entrevistas semiestruturadas, em regime de memória, com quatro pessoas que vivenciaram o processo de escolarização integral na instituição entre as décadas de 1950 e 1960, e hoje assumem na mesma escola a função de professores. Somado a isso, realizamos consulta ao acervo documental mantido na instituição. A partir dos depoimentos, organizamos um mosaico de memórias que, dialogados com recortes de jornais, permitiram-nos entrar em contato com o processo de escolarização e os acontecimentos vividos pelos depoentes na instituição no referido período, articuladas com a experiência presente. As narrativas e os documentos revelam a materialização da educação integral na vida diária escolar, nos permitindo refletir acerca das contradições da implementação da educação integral. Neste sentido, a pesquisa aqui relatada assume uma função política fundamental, na medida em que viabiliza a oportunidade de repensar os caminhos propostos para a educação pública brasileira à luz de sua experiência. / ABSTRACT This research aimed to understand the integral education from the pioneering experiment conducted in Centro Educacional Carneiro Ribeiro- Escola Parque. Therefore, in the light of social psychology and school and educational psychology from a critical perspective, we conducted semi-structured interviews, in memory regime, with four people who experienced the whole schooling process at the institution between the 1950s and 1960s, and today take at the same school as teachers. Added to this, we consult the documentary collection kept at the institution. From the testimony we organize a mosaic of memories with newspaper clippings that allowed us to get in touch with the educational process and the events experienced by witnesses in the institution during that period, linked with this experience. The narratives and documents reveal the realization of comprehensive education in school everyday life, allowing us to reflect on the contradictions of the implementation of comprehensive education. In this sense, the research reported here is of fundamental political function, in that it enables the opportunity to rethink the ways proposed to the Brazilian public education in the light of their experience.
