Sob o enfoque geográfico e dialético, tais variáveis apresentam-se como interface territorial determinante do poder estruturador das redes de transporte coletivo e dizem respeito a sua eficiência físico-operacional nas dinâmicas urbanas de corredores teoricamente desconectados e excluídos de sua rede de mobilidade. Com ênfase no Sistema Estrutural Integrado (SEI), este estudo empírico situa o Corredor Abdias de Carvalho no contexto da Região Metropolitana do Recife (RMR), onde se investiga: (i) sua eficiência físico-operacional, em termos de tempo-resposta e métricas dos percursos; e (ii) o grau de atratividade do uso e ocupação do solo urbano, em termos de conectividade, fluxo e amplitude espacial. As reflexões apóiam-se na complementaridade de métodos qualitativos e quantitativos com base na teoria do Materialismo Histórico-Dialético e no Modelo Inferencial de Eficiência desenvolvido por Cordeiro (2012). Os resultados desta pesquisa indicam haver uma sinergia fortemente negativa da dialética rede-território no Corredor Abdias de Carvalho, pela ausência/deficiência do poder estruturador da rede SEI na organização de suas atividades e funções urbanas, embora mostrem sua real capacidade físico-operacional para operar como um corredor de transporte de sua rede estrutural integrada. / The aim of the present study is to know the interest variables of the relationship network-territory that operate in the growth process of the 21st Century metropolitan cities with the fundamental assumption of the Geography of Transportation: transportation as the central element in the urban space organization. Under the geographical and dialectic approach, such variables appear as territorial interface that determine the structurer power of collective transport networks. They relate to the physics efficiency and operational of the networks in the urban dynamics of corridors theoretically excluded and disconnected from its network of mobility. With an emphasis on the Integrated Structural System (ISS), this empirical study situates the Corridor Abdias de Carvalho in the context of the Recife Metropolitan Region (RMR) and investigates: (i) its physics efficiency and operational, in terms of response-time and metrics pathways; and (ii) the degree of attractiveness of the use and urban land occupation, in terms of connectivity, flow, and spatial amplitude. The complementary nature of qualitative and quantitative methods supports the reflections and that are based on the theory of Historical and Dialectical Materialism and on the Inferential Model of Efficiency developed by Cordeiro (2012). The results of this research indicate there is a strongly negative synergy of dialectics network-territory in the Corridor Abdias de Carvalho by the absence/disability of the structurer power the ISS network in the organization of their activities and urban functions, although it is shown its physics real capability and operational to operate as one transport corridor of its integrated structural network.
