Imtynininkų ir nesportuojančių paauglių liemens tiesiamųjų ir lenkiamųjų raumenų izokinetinių susitraukimų ypatybės / Peculiarity of the trunk extensors and flexors muscles isokinetic contraction properties between adolescent wrestlers and non-athletes

Paleckis, Vidas 22 May 2006 (has links)
The aim of the study was to determine and to compare the trunk extensor and flexor muscles isocinetic contraction properties of adolescent wrestlers and non-athletes. To meet the target set the following tasks have been formulated: 1. To determine the trunk extensor muscles isocinetic contraction indices of wrestlers and non-athletes performing movements at different rate. 2. To determine the trunk flexor muscles isocinetic contraction indices of wrestlers and non-athletes performing movements at different rate. 3. To compare the ratio of trunk extensors and flexors muscles isocinetic contraction indices of wrestlers and non-athletes.. Six 16 years-old Greco-Roman wrestlers and nine non-athletes of the same age participated in the research. By means of the isokinetic dynamometer of the Biodex System 3 Pro type such functional indices of trunk muscles (extensors and flexors), as maximal and mean peak torque (PT), power, time up to developing maximal PT, as well as the ratio of these indices between trunk muscles (extensors and flexors) have been determined, All these indices were established performing trunk extension and flexion at 3 different angular rates, at 60, 90 and 120 degrees/sec. 1. Trunk extension indices (maximal and mean PT, power) of 16 year-old wrestlers are higher than those of non-athletes of the same age, irrespective of trunk extensors rate that was 60, 90 and 120 degrees/sec, except for the values of power indices performing trunk extensor at the rate... Agresyvios ir įprastinės kineziterapijos įtaka blauzdos tiesiamųjų ir lenkiamųjų raumenų jėgai po kelio sąnario priekinio kryžminio raiščio operacijų / Effectiveness of aggressive and traditional physiotherapy programs for peak torque measurements of knee extensors and flexors after anterior cruciate ligament reconstruction

Lukšaitė, Justė 19 May 2005 (has links)
The purpose of our study was to compare the effectiveness of aggressive and traditional physiotherapy programs for peak torque measurements of knee extensors and flexors at different degrees. 40 patients who had anterior cruciate ligament reconstruction using bone-patellar tendon-bone were examined in this study. Patients were selected in two different groups considering how motivated and physically active they were. Isokinetic dynamometer was used to evaluate the peak torque of knee flexors and extensors. In these latter years isokinetic dynamometer is the most popular and sure method to determine the physiotherapy effectiveness after anterior cruciate ligament reconstruction. Physiotherapy programs were chosen on how patients physically active were. Programs varied with the time period in which goals and exercises were accomplished. Time frame vary from 4 to 9 months, depending on which program is used. Patients were examined 6 months after physiotherapy program was used. The results have shown that the strength of knee flexors and extensors comes back faster using aggressive physiotherapy program right back after anterior cruciate ligament reconstruction. Also time to reach peak torque is less and the angle where the peak torque is reached is smaller. According to our results we can propose, that aggressive physiotherapy must be used at the same day after anterior cruciate ligament reconstruction in order to come back to full activity as soon as possible.

Blauzdos tiesėjų ir lenkėjų raumenų funkcijos dinamika izokinetinio krūvio metu / The shin stretchers - benders function dinamics, during isokinetic physical load

Kičas, Regimantas 19 May 2005 (has links)
The goal of the research is to define the indicators of the muscle function, fatigue and recovery for the shin stretchers and benders, who are LCA students and soldiers, during the isokinetic load. Two groups were investigated: 17 healthy underclassmen from the Lithuanian Military Academy at the age of 18,8±0,4, and 20 healthy soldiers from the Great Lithuanian Etmon Jonusas Radvila training flock at the age of 19,8±1,1. The investigative were tested using the Biodex Medical System, the equipment allocated to the testing of human bone-muscle and rehabilitation. The testing was executed in the regime according to the specially created protocol. The maximum power of the right leg shin of the stretchers-benders and the power at the maximum speed when the fixed speed is 180 l/s was recorded. These parameters were registered before the load while doing 3 stretches and bends, and a 5-minute recovery period after the load doing 3 stretches and bends. In order to evoke tiredness 100 load of the stretching and bending was used at the fixed speed of 180 l/s. The achieved results revealed, that the benders of the first (LCA students) and the second (the soldiers) groups get less tired during the isokinetic load than stretchers. The maximum power of the first and the second group shin stretchers did not recover after a 5-minute period rest from the controlling value, and the maximum power of the shin benders recovered completely in comparion to the initial value. The muscle power of the... [to full text]
