The primary purpose of this study is to evaluate the business administration curriculum at Panola County Junior College, located at Carthage, Texas, to see how well it fits the needs of both the students and the businessmen in Panola County and the surrounding territory from which the college draws its students.

The problem with which this investigation is concerned is that of determining the status of communications programs for the terminal technical-vocational student in the public junior colleges of the United States.

The problem of this study is the effect of movement from the sixth grade to the seventh grade upon student social status, attitude toward school, and achievement.

The problem with which this investigation was concerned was to measure personal adjustment, emotional adjustment, home adjustment, and self-concept changes that took place in junior college students as a result of one-counselor group counseling and male-and-female co-counselor group counseling. The rationale for male-and-female co-counselor group counseling relied on the formation of a simulated family in which individuals could socialize their feelings.

To further the effectiveness of music in the schools, to create a more meaningful and enjoyable musical experience in the junior high school -- these are the ideals that prompted the writing of this thesis. The need for this work is set forth in three subordinate needs. First, there is need for uniformity in aspects of music to be taught at the junior high school level. Second is the need for emphasis on certain aspects of music which carry over into future life. Last to consider is the need for organization of material to insure the proper background or further music study.

The diploma thesis analysis the competency model of an ideal applicant, who would be able to work on Junior Project Manager position. In theoretical part of the thesis is described the situation on the market focused on education in project management area. This education stream is described into more details. In practical part of the thesis is conduct a research analyzing actual position on the market. The goal of the research is to collect appropriate competencies which should have the ideal candidate for this type of position.

No início da década de 1880, a peça teatral A Caipirinha foi encenada no interior paulista, contando a história de uma jovem moça caipira forçada a ir para a cidade. Escrita pelo político Cesário Motta Junior (1847-1897), o texto dramático valoriza o caipira ao apresentar seu modo de vida em uma sociedade marcada por transformações. A peça foi levada ao palco diversas vezes entre os anos de 1917 e 1928, na capital paulista, e vertida ao cinema em 1919, mesmo período em que ocorrem importantes discussões sobre o caipira. O estudo desta peça, nesses diferentes momentos históricos, permite uma compreensão dessas representações do caipira e suas relações no processo de construção da identidade paulista. / At the beginning of the 1880s, the play A Caipirinha was performed in inland towns in the state of São Paulo. The play told the story of a young country girl who was made to move into a large city. This dramatic text, written by a politician called Cesário Junior (1847-1897), highlights the countryside people by showing their life style in a society which was going through lots of changes. Between 1917 and 1928 the play was taken to the stages of São Paulo a number of times, and it was made into a movie in 1919, time during which important studies were being carried out about the countryside people. The study of this play through different historic moments allows one to understand these representations as well as their relationship with the identity formation process of São Paulo.
