No. of bitstreams: 1 Correa_LarissaRosa_M.pdf: 2548812 bytes, checksum: ef8e54148d1ecdb1dd0df55d8dc7fd4e (MD5) Previous issue date: 2007 / Resumo: Este estudo analisa as negociações e conflitos entre empregados e empregadores na Justiça do Trabalho, durante os anos de 1953 a 1964, por meio da investigação de processos trabalhistas, localizados no Arquivo Geral do Tribunal Regional do Trabalho da 2° região da cidade de São Paulo, além dos documentos de associações de trabalhadores, jornais da grande imprensa, entrevistas com trabalhadores e advogados e arquivo do Deops. Esse conjunto documental possibilitou conhecer a experiência dos trabalhadores têxteis e metalúrgicos em relação às leis e o direito, observando como essas categorias utilizavam os sindicatos e a Justiça do Trabalho para defender seus interesses. A compreensão da estrutura normativa e funcionamento da Justiça do Trabalho apresentou questões relevantes para a análise das estratégias elaboradas por empregados e empregadores dentro do mundo legal / Abstract: This study analyses a series of deals and conflicts between employees and employers into the Labour Justice, through the research of the labor process which belongs to General Archive of the Labour Regional Court ¿ 2º region of São Paulo and other sources, such as, unions newspapers, interviews with lawyers and workers, press newspapers and the Archive of Deops. This source made possible to know better the textile and metallurgical experience regarding laws and rights, analyzing how the workers used the unions and the Labour Justice to defend their interests. The understanding of the ruling structure and operation of the Labour Justice showed relevant questions for the analyses of the elaborated strategies by employees and employers into the legal world / Mestrado / Historia Social / Mestre em História
