Trata dos cuidados com o corpo, denominados aqui de resguardos que acontecem a partir de três perspectivas: da pintura corporal, do uso do Crow (tora de buriti) e das músicas Mehi. Os cuidados que a pessoa deve viver ao longo da vida, podem ser individuais ou coletivos. Alguns rituais são relativos à construção da pessoa e tratam do resguardo realizado, por exemplo, pelo nascimento do primeiro filho, do fim de um processo de adoecimento, da primeira menstruação ou ritual de iniciação feminino. O ritual de iniciação masculino que dura mais de um ano e tem uma lógica de sucessão de fatos, está ameaçado porque as pessoas na comunidade não conseguem reconstituí-lo na sua totalidade. Há rituais coletivos, voltados para a sociabilidade entre grupos como, por exemplo, de trocas de alimentos e serviços. Ainda, há os rituais relacionados com o ciclo anual que vincula a estação de chuva e da seca e o sistema agrícola Krahô por meio do plantio e colheita do milho e da batata-doce. Aqui conta esta história dos resguardos a partir da fala das mulheres Mehi. / This work deals with life, social relations and the movement of the village of my people,Mehi (Krahô). It deals with the care of the body, called here “resguardos” that happen from three perspectives: body painting, the use of Crow (“tora de buriti”) and Mehi songs. The care that the person must live through the life, can be individual or collective. Some rituals are related to the construction of the person, for example, by the birth of the first child, the end of a process of illness, the first menstruation or ritual of female initiation. The male initiation ritual that lasts over a year and has a succession of facts is been threatened because the people in the community can’t reconstruct it in its totality. There are collective rituals aimed at sociability among groups such as, for example, food exchanges and services. There are others rituals related to the annual cycle, rainy and dry season and the Krahô farming system. Here I’m writing about the resguardos from the perspectives of the Mehi women.
