Studie proveditelnosti a analýza projektů bioplynových stanic v ČR / Feasibility study and analysis of projects of biogas stations in Czech Republic

Lodr, Jakub January 2006 (has links)
Poslední část diplomové práce by měla pomoci najít způsob jak ocenit investice do obnovitelných zdrojů energie.

Analýza efektivity využití tepla v provozu bioplynové stanice odpadů / Bio-gas plant heat utilisation effectivity analysis

Šmarda, Marek January 2018 (has links)
This thesis focuses on the analysis of heat efficiency and effectiveness of the Vojtěchov biogas station unit. The material balances were developed in connection with biogas created in the cogeneration unit. The heat produced by the cogeneration unit is distributed to reactors and drying rooms. Pursuing the main goal of the thesis, the research of the complete heating balance for all months has been conducted. Additionally, a variety of options were assessed, to find the best solution of how to increase the effectivity of the heat. As for the final solution, two recommendations have been proposed in the thesis. The first recommendation lies in a better usage of low-level heat distributed to the secondary fermentor. The second suggestion deals with the amount of heat from cogeneration unit to the system. The result of the analysis is the final recommendation on how to increase the efficiency of the heat usage and potential impacts of the solution on the subsidy according to the KVET standards received in the given year.

Změny kvality vody v koupalištích ve volné přírodě a v koupacích oblastech v průběhu letní sezóny / Changes in water quality in outdoor swimming pools and swimming areas during the summer season

MARŠÁLKOVÁ, Alena January 2010 (has links)
Good quality of bathing water is an increasingly important factor taken into account when we choose summer vacations, a place to stay for a weekend or a weekend trip destination. In the Czech Republic, bathing waters may be divided according to the legal status into outdoor swimming pools, surface waters used for bathing (swimming areas), other water surfaces or artificial pools. In my thesis I dealt only with outdoor swimming pools and swimming areas. The difference between them lies in the fact that outdoor swimming pools have their own operators who monitor water quality and provide other services in the waterside. Usually there is a fee charged. Swimming areas have no operators and water quality monitoring is placed under the responsibility of regional public health authorities. In the Czech Republic, at present, 188 outdoor swimming pools and swimming areas have been monitored on a regular basis each bathing season. For my research I chose four sites located in the South Bohemian region and four sites in the South Moravian region. For each of these eight sites, I collected results of laboratory analyses, including categories of water quality in bathing seasons of the past five years, it means from the year 2005. With these obtained data I assessed the water quality development both during the bathing season of 2009 and its evolution over the past five years. On the basis of particular categories of water quality I also tried to compare water quality in the South Bohemian and the South Moravian region and also to compare water quality between individual sampling points in one locality. Another aim was to evaluate some measures and interventions made in order to improve water quality. I focused particularly on the pond Olšovec in the South Moravian region and the VN (water reservoir) Orlík in the South Bohemian region. The results do not show any prominent changes in water quality both during the bathing season 2009 and over the past five years. Pronounced fluctuations in water quality were recorded only at certain locations during the 2007 bathing season. Not even between individual regions significant differences in water quality were found. The proportion of individual water quality categories in the two regions did not differ by more than 4%. We can therefore say that water quality in selected localities in the South Bohemian and South Moravian regions is comparable. As for certain measures and interventions implemented to improve water quality, it is important to focus also on the wider neighborhood of the locality, because it could also be a source of substances worsening water quality.

Analýza využitelnosti pístového parního motoru pro kombinovanou výrobu elektřiny a tepla / Analysis of the steam engine for combined heat and power

Uryč, Jan January 2018 (has links)
In some applications, the piston steam engine may be more suitable than the technology currently used. The thesis deals with the analysis of its advantages, weaknesses and possibilities of use, which are offered. Introduces the principles and functions of piston steam engines. It also contains a thermodynamic design based on a specific assignment and a feasibility assessment.

Vliv kogenerace na energetiku a trh s elektrickou energií v ČR / Cogeneration influence on power industry and power market in Czech Republic

Dudáš, Michal January 2014 (has links)
The main goal of this master’s thesis is to find out the impact of future development in combined heat and power technologies, especially the impact on power market in Czech Republic regarding to historical development of photovoltaics and subsidy policy. There are three scenarios of installed power growth designed including calculations of renewable energy source financial fee as well as overall evaluation. The paper also deals with current status of combined heat and power technologies in Czech Republic, European Union and USA as well as legislature framework of CHP in Czech Republic and EU. There are also kinds of state grants described. In economical part of the paper there are NPV’s of particular cogeneration units calculated. The calculations were made both with current investment costs and reduced investment costs.

Využití kogenerační jednotky pro vytápění a výrobu elektrické energie / Using cogeneration unit for heating and electricity production

Ženíšek, Pavel January 2016 (has links)
The final thesis deals with the heating of the hospital building and preparation of the domestic hot water by cogeneration unit. The building will be largely heated by plate radiators. As a heat source is used a cogeneration unit with combustion engine. The project deals with the design dimensioning and connection of these parts.

“Jive That Anybody Can Dig :” Lavada “Dr. Hepcat” Durst and the desegregation of radio in Central Texas, 1948-1963

Weiss, Peter Okie 07 November 2014 (has links)
Lavada “Dr. Hepcat” Durst was the first African American popular music disc jockey in Texas. His radio program The Rosewood Ramble was broadcast on Austin station KVET-1300 AM from 1948 until 1963. KVET’s white owners, who included future Texas politicians John Connally and J. J. “Jake” Pickle, were not outspoken advocates for the rights of African Americans under Jim Crow, but they hired Durst in a concentrated effort to expand KVET’s African American listening audience. The Rosewood Ramble became a cultural, economic, and psychological resource for black radio listeners in segregated central Texas while also becoming the region’s most popular radio show among white listeners. This paper uses a mixture of oral history and archival sources to argue that Durst’s fifteen-year career at KVET was only the best-known part of a lifetime spent as an information broker to Austin’s embattled black community. / text
