Abstract: It has been put on the spotlight and a known fact in Sweden, individuals who live in different honor cultures are exposed to different types of honor oppression. However, there is still very little information about HBT-individuals who live in an honor culture environment and are exposed to honor oppression. The purpose of this study is to create a profound understanding in the HBT-individuals’ experiences with honor and their experiences with identity as HBT-individuals in relation to the honor culture they live in. The study also looks at the possibilities and limitations these individuals mustface every day or at certain times as HBT-individuals in an honor environment. A qualitative method was used throughout the study and the empirical material is based on interviews we made with seven informers. We have used two different interview methods to receive empirical results. The first method is based on a face-to-face interview and the second method is based on chat interviews online. The analysis was examined along the theoretical efforts we used throughout this study such as, social control, honor culture, identity and many more. The results indicate that these informants are at a higher risk of being exposed to different things, such as for example being rejected by their family if they chose to come out and live openly about their sexual identity and not follow the hetero norm that is put in place.

This article studies people relegated to invisibility: the LGTB (lesbians, gays, transsexuals and bisexuals) from constitutional and international law point of view. Thoughts will be focused on transsexuals and their rights to be treated according to an early internalized gender and some rights emerged from this treatment. Peruvian State role in this subject and the existing challenges will also be analyzed in the same way. / El presente artículo es un estudio de una población relegada a la invisibilidad, los LGTB (lesbianas, gays, transexuales y bisexuales), desde el derecho constitucional y el derecho internacional. La reflexión girará entorno a los transexuales y al derecho que tienen estos a ser tratados como personas pertenecientes al género que han internalizado desde temprana edad. Asimismo, se discutirá algunos derechos que se desprenden de este trato. De la misma manera, se analizará el papel del Estado peruano en este tema y los retos que todavía existen.El ensayo es ganador del II Concurso de Investigación Jurídica de Responsabilidad Social, realizado en el segundo semestre de 2012.

El camp talk es una forma de expresión construida mediante el habla que forma parte de la representación de la identidad de la comunidad LGTB+. Esta forma de expresión se ha visto representada en diversas producciones tanto cinematográficas como en novelas u obras de teatro, por lo que se han traducido del inglés a otros idiomas. Si bien existen investigaciones sobre la traducción del camp talk, estos estudios son limitados, sobre todo en el contexto de los años 90. En esta década, recién se construían equivalentes en español para el vocabulario utilizado por la comunidad LGTB+ a través de las primeras traducciones de productos de consumo masivo como películas o series. Se considera la traducción del camp talk como un problema ya que, para mantener la identidad de la comunidad en cuestión, el texto meta debe cumplir con la función comunicativa del texto fuente y considerar los equivalentes del vocabulario empleado por la comunidad LGTB+. Por esta ra, la presente investigación se centra en dos películas LGTB+ de los años 90, The Birdcage y To Wong Foo, Thanks for Everything! Julie Newmar, con la finalidad de analizar la función del camp talk y las técnicas utilizadas para su traducción. Para obtener los resultados, se utilizarán dos técnicas: el análisis de contenido para analizar las funciones del camp talk en la versión original en inglés, y el análisis textual contrastivo para analizar la traducción al español latinoamericano del camp talk e identificar las técnicas de traducción utilizadas. / Camp talk is a form of expression constructed through speech, and this represents the identity of a community, as is the case of the identity of the LGTB+ community. This form of expression has been represented in several film productions, as well as in novels and theatre plays, and has been translated from English into other languages. Although there is research about camp talk translation, these studies are limited, especially those in the 90s. At that decade, spanish equivalents for the vocabulary used by the LGTB+ community were just being constructed through the first translations of mass consumer products such as movies or series. The translation of camp talk is considered a problem since, in order to maintain the identity of the LGTB+ community, the target text must fulfill the communicative function of the source text and consider the equivalents of the vocabulary used by the LGTB+ community. Therefore, the present research focuses on two LGTB+ films from the 90s, The Birdcage and To Wong Foo, Thanks for Everything! Julie Newmar, to analyze the function of camp talk and the techniques used for its translation. To obtain the results, two techniques will be used: content analysis, to analyze the functions of camp talk in the original English version and contrastive textual analysis to analyze the Latin American Spanish translation of camp talk and to identify the translation techniques used. / Trabajo de investigación

Studiens övergripande syfte är att undersöka möjligheter och hin-der till att genomföra sex- och samlevnadsundervisning inom gym-nasiesärskole- och habiliteringsverksamheter. Bakgrunden är att unga med intellektuella funktionsnedsättningar har sämre kun-skaper om kropp, sexualitet och samlevnad än andra. Studien syftar till att undersöka personalens attityder till och erfarenheter av sex- och samlevnadsundervisning. Fokus ligger på 1) målsättningen med sex- och samlevnadsundervisning, 2) sexualitet, könsnormer och heteronormen, och 3) egna förutsättningar att arbeta med sex- och samlevnadsundervisning. Empirin insamlades med hjälp av kvalita-tiva fokusgrupper och analyserades med stöd av teorin om sociala representationer. Studiens resultat visar bl.a. att sexualitet hos unga med intellektuella funktionsnedsättningar främst ses ur ett riskper-spektiv. De tillskrivs ett ansvar att hantera sexuella risker samtidigt som de anses sakna förmåga att ta detta ansvar. Deras sexualitet görs till en annorlunda typ av sexualitet där den s.k. normala sexua-liteten definieras som den hos personer utan intellektuella funkt-ionsnedsättningar. Flickors och homo-, bi, -trans- och queerperso-ners sexualitet problematiseras oftare jämfört med pojkars och heterosexuella ungdomars. Personalen anser sig sakna utbildning och mandat från arbetsgivares sida att arbeta med ämnet. Studien visar på vikten av utbildnings- och stödinsatser riktade till gymnasi-esärskole- och vuxenhabiliteringspersonalen avseende sex- och samlevnadsundervisning, vilket kommer unga med intellektuella funktionsnedsättningar till gagn. / The overall aim is to investigate the possibilities and barriers to the implementation of sexuality education in special schools and habili-tation services in Sweden. Young people with intellectual disabilities have less knowledge about their body, sexuality and relationships compared to others. The study aims to examine attitudes to and ex-periences of sex education among staff in special schools and habili-ation services. It focuses on their view on 1) the objective of sex and relationship education, 2) sexuality, gender norms and heteronor-mativity, and 3) the staff´s own abilities to work with sexuality edu-cation. The empirical data has been collected using qualitative focus groups and analyzed on the basis of the theory of social representa-tions. The results demonstrate among other things that sexuality in young people with intellectual disabilities is mainly viewed from a risk perspective. They are attributed a responsibility to deal with sexual risks while lacking the capacity to take on this responsibility. Their sexuality is made to a different type, where the so-called nor-mal sexuality is defined as that in individuals without intellectual disabilities. Girls and lesbian, gay, bi, trans and queer people's sexu-ality is problematized more often than that of boys and heterosexual adolescents. Staff lacks training and support to work on the topic. The study shows the importance of education and support interven-tions aimed at special schools and habilitation services regarding sexuality education, which will be beneficial young people with in-tellectual disabilities.

La representación de personajes homosexuales en televisión ha pasado por varias etapas, en la actualidad, gran parte de esta se da con el fin de hacer reír a la audiencia a través de la exageración de estereotipos, lo cual trae consigo consecuencias negativas que pueden llegar a actos de odio hacia esta parte de la comunidad. Sin embargo, aún hay representaciones, las cuales son minoritarias en televisión, que muestran con características más empáticas a los homosexuales, siendo una de ellas la que se presenta cuando estos son protagónistas, como vendría a ser el caso de las series de género Boys Love. Es por tal motivo, que el objetivo principal de la presente investigación es analizar la narrativa homosexual en la serie tailandesa I told sunset about you a través de una metología de enfoque cualitativo con un paradigma interpretativo, teniendo como diseño al estudio de caso, al análisis de contenido como técnica de recolección de datos y como instrumento de estudio a la guía de análisis de contenido. La cual se aplicará a doce escenas que conforman la estructura narrativa de la primera temporada de la presente serie, así como se explicará los principales acontecimiento de la estructura narrativa, la construcción y acciones del personaje homosexual protagónico. / The representation of homosexual characters on television has gone through several stages, currently, much of this occurs to make the audience laugh through the exaggeration of stereotypes, which brings negative consequences that can reach acts of hatred towards this part of the community. However, there are still representations, which are minority on television, that show homosexuals with more empathetic characteristics, one of them being the one that occurs when they are protagonists, as would be the case of the Boys Love genre series. It is for this reason that the main objective of this research is to analyze the homosexual narrative in the Thai series I told sunset about you through a qualitative approach methodology with an interpretive paradigm, having as design the case study, the analysis of content as a data collection technique and as a study instrument to the content analysis guide. Which will be applied to twelve scenes that make up the narrative structure of the first season of this series, as well as the main events of the narrative structure, the construction and actions of the leading homosexual character will be explained. / Trabajo de investigación

La comunidad LGTB+ es un grupo social que en los últimos años ha adquirido mayor presencia y relevancia, a partir de la lucha de muchos de sus integrantes por lograr la igualdad y la no discriminación en países como el Perú. La publicidad no ha estado exenta de dicha tensión, así la influencia que está generando la comunidad LGTB+ en el mercado nacional ha motivado también que muchas marcas y empresas vean a este grupo como un nicho de mercado relevante. En ese sentido, el estudio es importante en tanto indaga en las características, gustos, hábitos de consumo, y lo más importante, en la forma en la que esta comunidad ha influido en la narrativa de ciertas marcas del mercado. En el presente trabajo se quiere analizar cómo la influencia de la comunidad LGTB+ ha sido relevante en la motivación de compra. Para ello, se tomará en consideración el spot publicitario “Amistad sin diferencias” de la cerveza Pilsen Callao en donde se difunde el mensaje de la no discriminacion de las personas por su orientación sexual. Para la investigación se utilizará una metodología cualitativa, a partir de la realización de entrevistas a estudiantes de la ciudad de Lima que se encuentran en edades de 18 a 28 años que se identifican activamente con la comunidad LGTB+ en el Perú. / The LGTB + community is a social group that in recent years has acquired greater presence and relevance, based on the struggle of many of its members to achieve equality and non-discrimination in countries like Peru. Advertising has not been exempt from this tension, thus the influence that the LGTB + community is generating in the national market has also motivated many brands and companies to see this group as a relevant market niche. In this sense, the study is important as it investigates the characteristics, tastes, consumption habits, and most importantly, the way in which this community has influenced the narrative of certain brands in the market. In this paper we want to analyze how the influence of the LGTB + community has been relevant in motivating purchase. For this, the advertising spot "Friendship without differences" for Pilsen Callao beer will be taken into consideration, where the message of non-discrimination against people based on their sexual orientation is disseminated. For the research, a qualitative methodology will be used, based on conducting interviews with students from the city of Lima who are between the ages of 20 and 30 who actively identify with the LGTB + community in Peru. / Trabajo de investigación

Resumen Natural Hysteria... es una investigacio'n basada en una pra'ctica transdisciplinaria que documenta el proceso de produccio'n de un ciclo de performances basadas en el texto: rituales, presentaciones teatrales, acciones callejeras y presentaciones de video, canciones y talleres. Es una respuesta arti'stica al deterioro de nuestro medio ambiente y los ataques contra la diversidad cultural y biolo'gica que esta'n llevando a cabo un sistema capitalista basado en la acumulacio'n de riqueza a toda costa que nos esta' llevando al borde de un colapso ecolo'gico. Se procede a trave's de un ana'lisis de otras pra'cticas arti'sticas disidentes que comparten una perspectiva queer, feminista, postcolonial o ecolo'gica que las vincula a los conceptos explorados en mi trabajo para contextualizarlo en el campo expandido de las artes contempora'neas. La "histeria" alternativa que forma la base conceptual de este proyecto tiene sus inicios en los albores de la edad moderna y traza una historia de dominacio'n de los "otros": se centra principalmente en las mujeres, en el ge'nero y en los disidentes sexuales, las personas de color y los animales. La explotacio'n de los recursos naturales y humanos es una consecuencia de una cosmovisio'n basada en el establecimiento de oposiciones binarias que permiten que el "otro" sea clasificado y dominado. Por ejemplo: hombre / mujer, blanco / negro, hetero / homosexual, cultura / naturaleza. La construccio'n de estos "otros" - "femenino", "nativo", "queer", "naturaleza" - excluye a estos sujetos de la construccio'n de una identidad dominante que, sin embargo, depende de estas categori'as para su existencia. En el Renacimiento, los campos de las ciencias y las humanidades no estaban separados. La visio'n mecanicista del mundo no habi'a superado por completo las creencias paganas en la magia y en una fuerza espiritual que reside en todos los seres. Esta visio'n era una reliquia de la era precristiana y finalmente seri'a erradicada por las fuerzas unidas del Estado y la Iglesia a trave's de los procesos de la Inquisicio'n, la caza de brujas, la colonizacio'n y la nueva religio'n de la "Ciencia". Todos estos procesos han producido un gran cambio en nuestra relacio'n con la naturaleza, que en la actualidad se considera una entidad totalmente inerte. La naturaleza ya no forma parte de nuestro ser y se ha convertido simplemente en materia prima. La colonizacio'n continu'a hoy bajo una poli'tica neoliberal que utiliza el concepto de desarrollo para requisar territorio de los pueblos indi'genas a fin de explotar sus recursos naturales. Esto se justifica clasificando estas personas como primitivas porque su modo de vida se basa en vivir en equilibrio con la naturaleza. La funcio'n de una pra'ctica arti'stica poli'ticamente comprometida es desafiar la nocio'n de que no existe una alternativa al sistema actual. El marco teo'rico y arti'stico de esta investigacio'n ha conducido al desarrollo de un alter ego performativo, el chama'n transge'nero Geyserbird, y a la configuracio'n de una serie de performances que incluye rituales participativos, instalaciones con presencia y la reapropiacio'n queer de espacios industriales abandonados. El chama'n transge'nero es un ser espiritual que va ma's alla' de las limitaciones del sistema de ge'nero binario y se conecta con las culturas indi'genas. El despliegue de esta figura en un contexto contempora'neo invita al pu'blico a imaginar otras posibilidades para si' mismos y para nuestra sociedad. / Abstract Natural Hysteria... is a trans-disciplinary practice led investigation which documents the process of production of a cycle of text based performances -rituals, street actions, theatrical presentations, and video presentations, songs and workshops. It is an artistic response to the deterioration of our environment and the attacks on cultural and biological diversity being carried out by a capitalist system based on the accumulation of wealth at all costs which is leading us to the border of an ecological collapse. It proceeds through an analyses of other dissident artistic practices which share a queer, feminist postcolonial or ecological perspective linking them to the concepts explored in my work in order to contextualise it in the expanded field of the contemporary arts. The alternative "hysteria" that forms the conceptual basis of this project has its beginnings in the dawn of the modern age and traces a history of domination of those "others": focusing mainly on women, gender and sexual dissidents, people of colour and animals. The exploitation of natural and human resources is a consequence of a worldview based on the establishment of binary oppositions that allow the "other" to be classified and dominated. For example: man / woman, white / black, hetero / homosexual, culture / nature. The construction of these "others" - the "feminine", the "native", the "queer", "nature" - excludes these subjects from the construction of a master identity that, nevertheless, depends on these categories for its existence. In the Renaissance the fields of the sciences and the humanities were not separated. The mechanistic view of the world had not completely overcome pagan beliefs in magic and in a spiritual force which resides in all beings. This vision was a relic of the pre-Christian era and would finally be eradicated by the united forces of State and Church through the processes of the Inquisition, the witch hunts, colonization and the new religion of "Science". All of these processes have produced a huge change in our relationship with nature, currently seen as a totally inert entity. Nature is no longer part of our being and has became nothing more than raw material. Colonisation continues today under a neoliberal politics which uses the concept of development to requisition territory from indigenous people in order to exploit its natural resources. This is justified by qualifying these people as primitive because their way of life is based on living in equilibrium with nature. The function of a politically engaged artistic practise is to challenge the notion that no alternative exists to the current system. The theoretical and artistic framework of this investigation has led to the development of a performative alter ego, the transgender shaman Geyserbird, and to the configuration of a series of performances which included participatory rituals, installations with presence and the queer appropriation of abandoned industrial spaces. The transgender shaman is a spiritual being who goes beyond the limitations of the binary gender system and connects to indigenous cultures. The deployment of this figure in a contemporary context, invites the public to imagine other possibilities for themselves and for our society / Resum Natural Hysteria... e's una investigacio' basada en una pra¿ctica transdisciplina¿ria que documenta el proce's de produccio' d'un cicle de performances basades en el text: rituals, presentacions teatrals, acciones al carrers i presentacions de vi'deo, canc¿ons i tallers. Tots aquests processos han produi¿t un gran canvi en la nostra relacio' amb la naturalesa, que en l'actualitat es considera una entitat totalment inerta. La naturalesa ja no forma part del nostre e'sser i s'ha convertit simplement en mate¿ria preval. La colonitzacio' continua avui sota una poli'tica neoliberal que utilitza el concepte de desenvolupament per a requisar territori dels pobles indi'genes a fi d'explotar els seus recursos naturals. Aixo¿ es justifica classificant aquestes persones com a primitives perque¿ la seua manera de vida es basa en viure en equilibri amb la naturalesa.
