This project deals with the optical control of welding glass blank. The blank consists two small parts of made of special glass. This blank is an essential part of the measuring device density of oxygen. Measuring device algorithm is based on paramagnetic properties of oxygen. It is a small and precise piece of the whole mechanism therefore the precision and perfection made strict criteria. For checking compliance with those criteria, developed a computer program written in C# programming language. Its task is to rule on perfection produced parts. It also serves to back up data on individual production units.

The project compares the technology of welding of CO2 laser and fiber laser in terms of engineering study, the welds will be made by same welding conditions on two materials (S235JRG2 a X5CrNi 18-10), by using different protective gases (Helium and Argon). In the terms of literal background research both the technologies and questions of laser welding are described. The geometry of welds is carried out in the experimental part. The final results of the experiment are concluded at the end of the diploma thesis.

The project includes a theoretical study, which deals with the welding material properties, principles and types of lasers and laser welding technology. The practical part contains a verification of the welding parameters according to the standard ČSN EN ISO 15614-11. The final evaluation results of the experiment at the close of the project are presented.

The material, on which were in the experimental part test and geometry analysis performed was steel Hardox 400 with thickness 5 mm. These welds were compared with welds made by MAG. Equipment used for werding was fiber laser.

With reference to this issue theories of keyhole creation are described. 2D simulation model that is created in mathematical software Matlab is verified pursuant welding results of non-alloy constructional steel 1. 0122 and stainless steel 1.4301. Effect of welding parameters on the geometry of keyhole and on the quality of weld is investigated through the welds in non-alloy steel 1.0122.

The master's thesis presents an experiment of welding of high strength steel Docol 1200 M and of steel DC01 by the fiber Yb-YAG laser. The experiment is based on testing welds which were made during the experiments. The lasers, laser technologies of welding, steels of higher strength, tailored blanks technology and testing of welds are described in the theoretical part. The practical part contains description and evaluation of tests of welds – transverse tension test, Vickers hardness test, Erichsen cupping test and macrostructure and microstructure test. The final evaluation results of the experiment are presented in the conclusion of the master's thesis.

The introduction part of this work analyses the assignment and describes the current state of the workplace, describes each work cycle operation and customer requirements at the workplace. The work then deals with solving individual key nodes at the workplace, including introducing this robot and end effector design. The conclusion of this work explains safety solutions at the workplace, and financial and technical evaluation.

My thesis is considering the options of manufacturing of the core drill. One of these options is technology of the laser welding, which was described in details in the theoretical part of this thesis. In applied part of this thesis there were experimentally manufactured two pieces of core drills by using Yb-YAG fibre laser technology. One core drill was used for testing of the welding parameters and in the next step, these parameters were applied in real working conditions and were evaluated in final. Result is written down in the final part of my thesis. The second core drill was welded using the best values measured in the fixture, which was especially designed for this purpose.
