La dissertazione, basandosi su un confronto sistematico dei testi, analizza i rapporti fra i carmina docta di Catullo e le Argonautiche di Apollonio Rodio con particolare attenzione al carme 64. Il lavoro è suddiviso in dieci capitoli più un'introduzione e una conclusione. Nell'introduzione si illustra la metodologia applicata e si discutono alcune questioni teoriche relative all'intertestualità. Nel I capitolo si delinea una storia della critica moderna che mette in evidenza come negli studi catulliani sul carme 64, nel corso dell'ultimo secolo e mezzo, Apollonio tenda ad assumere un ruolo sempre più importante. Nei capitoli II-IX viene fatto uno studio molto approfondito del carme 64. Tale studio analizza il testo catulliano mettendo in luce le somiglianze contenutistiche, strutturali e stilistiche con le Argonautiche. Il X capitolo è invece dedicato agli altri carmina docta. Poiché questi ultimi carmi hanno scarsi punti di contatto con il poema di Apollonio, ci si limita a mettere in evidenza una serie di motivi e tratti comuni. Nella parte conclusiva si espone un quadro sommario dei risultati raggiunti. Il lavoro dimostra in particolare come nel complesso le somiglianze fra Catullo e Apollonio riguardino elementi superficiali o luoghi comuni e come non vi sia alcuna prova certa di una dipendenza diretta di Catullo da Apollonio (nonostante una tale dipendenza sia da ritenersi probabile per ragioni storiche). In contrasto con buona parte della critica più recente, si esprime di conseguenza la convinzione che sia poco opportuno utilizzare le Argonautiche per spiegare il carme 64 o per instaurare un dialogo di natura intertestuale fra Catullo e Apollonio. / The dissertation offers an analysis of the relationship between Catullus' long poems and Apollonius Rhodius' Argonautica. The analysis, which is mainly concerned whith poem 64, is based on a methodical collation. The study is divided into ten chapters, an introduction, and a conclusion. In the introduction the adopted methodology is explained, and some theoretical questions regarding intertextuality are discussed. Chapter One deals with an outline of modern scholarship pertinent to the last hundred and fifty years. This outline points out that Apollonius tends to be more and more important in the scholarship on poem 64. From Chapter Two to Chapter Nine poem 64 is examined in detail. Special stress is laid on the similarities between Catullus and Apollonius pertaining to content, structure, and style. Chapter Ten concerns poems 61-63 and 65-68. As these seven poems are generally quite different from the Argonautica, only the similarities which are significant are examined. The last section draws the conclusions. On the whole, the study shows that the similarities between Catullus and Apollonius are rather unimportant, since they usually aren't deep or concern topoi. Although for historical reasons it seems probable that Apollonius influenced Catullus, there is in fact no evidence that Catullus' poems were directly influenced by Apollonius' Argonautica. Therefore, it is suggested that interpretations of Catullus 64 based on Apollonius' Argonautica should be avoided.This view stands in contrast to the views of those contemporary scholars who establish an intertextual relationship between poem 64 and the Argonautica.

Il lavoro consiste nella traduzione dell’adagio 2001, Herculei labores con commento delle righe 1-116, che comprendono il racconto della fatica di Ercole contro l’idra di Lerna e le interpretazioni che Erasmo ne fornisce per introdurre la filologia come impresa erculea in chiave autobiografica. L’introduzione ha lo scopo di presentare una sintesi degli elementi notevoli del commento e alcune osservazioni sull’autorappresentazione di sé dell’umanista. Erasmo fa dell’identificazione con Ercole un topos della propria descrizione in chiave ironica, ma si propone anche come emulo di Girolamo, di cui cura l’edizione delle lettere. Questo lavoro prende in considerazione infine il ritratto di Erasmo dipinto da Holbein e custodito a Longford Castle in relazione al testo dell’adagio, al quale allude con la scritta in primo piano, ΗΡΑΚΛΕΙΟΙ ΠΟΝΟΙ. / The work is the Italian translation of Erasmus’ Adagium 2001, Herculei labores, with comment of lines 1-116, which include the story of the labor of Hercules against the Hydra of Lerna and interpretations that Erasmus provides in order to introduce philology as a Herculean task in autobiographical perspective. The introduction aims to present the most relevant elements of the comment and some observations about the humanist’s self representation. Erasmus makes his identification with Hercules a topos in his ironical self description, but at the same time he describes himself as a new Jerome, whose letters he is editing. Eventually it also considers the portrait of Erasmus painted by Holbein the Younger and kept at Longford Castle in the light of the text of the adagium, which is referred to with the word in the foreground, ΗΡΑΚΛΕΙΟΙ ΠΟΝΟΙ.

Il presente studio si è posto come obiettivo quello di redigere un lessico dei termini d’amore nella poesia di Orazio, e, specificamente, dei lemmi presenti nei primi tre libri delle Odi. L’interesse per la lirica del Venosino ci ha indotti ad affrontarne la lettura non solo considerando quelle che sono le tematiche diremo topiche della sua poetica ( modus, angulus, mors, tempus, cura, solo per citare quelle più significative ), ma anche quelle meno note, quale appunto il tema dell’amore, oggetto di questo lavoro. Si è proceduto così all’analisi di ogni singolo libro di ogni ode, catalogandone ed analizzandone rispettivamente tutte le occorrenze di quei termini che abbiamo ritenuto essere propri del lessico amoroso. Il commento ad ogni libro è stato supportato dagli studi di Nisbet-Hubbard per il primo ed il secondo libro delle Odi ( cfr. R.G.M. Nisbet-M. Hubbard, A commentary on Horace: Odes Book 1, Oxford 1970; R.G.M. Nisbet-M. Hubbard, A commentary on Horace: Odes Book 2, Oxford 1978 ) e Nisbet-Rudd per il terzo ( cfr. R.G.M. Nisbet-Rudd, A commentary on Horace: Odes Book 3, Oxford, 2003 ). Trattandosi di un lessico è stato altresì fondamentale il contributo dell’ Index uerborum amatorium ( Cfr. R. Pichon, De sermone amatorio apud Latinos elegiarum scriptores, Paris 1902 ) e del ThLL. Si è infine proceduto ad individuare quei termini maggiormente significativi nell’ambito della poesia d’amore in generale, il cui riflesso è presente anche nella poesia oraziana, con una particolare attenzione al rapporto che intercorre tra Orazio e la tradizione neoterica ed elegiaca e al lessico dei colori, che vanta numerose occorrenze nella poesia d’amore, soprattutto in riferimento alla bellezza muliebre e maschile e che quindi appare di rilevante importanza per comprendere l’estetica della poesia oraziana nel ritrarre la forma degli amanti che popolano i suoi più celebri versi d’amore. / This study aims at compiling a lexicon of love terms of Horace’s poetry, namely of the words used in the first three books of the Odes. The great interest for the Venosa-born poet let us focus not only on the main themes of his poetics (e.g. modus, angulus, mors, tempus, cura, to name but a few) but also on some less well-known topics such as love. Every Odes book was carefully analyzed and the main love-related terms were ranked according to the number of occurrences. The research work done by Nisbet-Hubbard was used to support the commentary on the first and second book (see R.G.M. Nisbet-M. Hubbard, A commentary on Horace: Odes Book 1, Oxford 1970; R.G.M. Nisbet-M. Hubbard, A commentary on Horace: Odes Book 2, Oxford 1978). The commentary on the third book was made by making reference to the work done by Nisbet-Rudd (see R.G.M. Nisbet-Rudd, A commentary on Horace: Odes Book 3, Oxford, 2003 ). Being the main focus of this study the drawing up of a lexicon, the contribution made by the Index uerborum amatorium (see R. Pichon, De sermone amatorio apud Latinos elegiarum scriptores, Paris 1902 ) and by the ThLL was also very important. Finally the most meaningful terms for love poetry in general were identified. These words are also present in Horace’s poetry. In particular it was possible to detect a special connection between Horace, the neoteric and elegiac tradition and the lexicon of colours. The latter has multiple occurrences in love poetry, especially in relation to male and female beauty. As a consequence it becomes a key element to better understand the aesthetics of Horace’s poetry in depicting the lovers populating his most famous love verses.

TESIS PARA OPTAR AL GRADO DE MAGÍSTER EN FINANZAS / El creciente desarrollo e integración del sistema financiero latinoamericano con el resto del mundo ha despertado el interés en la literatura sobre la vulnerabilidad que tiene la región, ante schoks macroeconómicos tanto internos como externos.

La presente investigación analiza, evalúa e identifica el proceso de internacionalización de las empresas de venta directa del sector belleza y cuidado personal en Latinoamérica. Para ello, se analizará el caso de la empresa americana Mary Kay Inc. Se realizó un análisis comparativo de las estrategias de internacionalización aplicadas por Mary Kay con otras empresas del sector para determinar su diferenciación o semejanza. A su vez se ha realizado diferentes análisis del sector como el PESTA, el mapa perceptual y el perfil del consumidor peruano para obtener un mayor conocimiento del mercado de belleza y cuidado personal. Con la finalidad de profundizar el tema de investigación se han realizado entrevistas a gerentes de la empresa Mary Kay y expertos del sector. Como resultado de la investigación se ha determinado que las estrategias de internacionalización aplicadas por las empresas de venta directa en Latinoamérica son similares, pues cada una de ellas ha iniciado su proceso de internacionalización de manera tradicional aplicando la estrategia de Uppsala y en el proceso de expansión se han ido aplicando estrategias de ingreso y de descentralización de la toma de decisones. / This research analyzes, evaluates and identifies the process of internationalization of direct sales companies in the beauty and personal care sector in Latin America. For this, the case of American company Mary Kay Inc. will be analyzed. A comparative analysis of the internationalization strategies applied by Mary Kay with other companies in the sector was carried out to determine their differentiation or similarity. At the same time, different sector analyzes have been carried out, such as the PESTA, the perceptual map and the profile of the Peruvian consumer in order to obtain a better knowledge of the beauty and personal care market. In order to deepen the research topic, interviews have been conducted with Mary Kay company managers and industry experts. As a result of the research, it has been determined that the internationalization strategies applied by the direct sales companies in Latin America are similar, since each of them has initiated its internationalization process in a traditional manner applying the Uppsala strategy and in the expansion process. Input and decentralization strategies for decision making have been applied. / Tesis
