Für das Swahili liegt eine Menge zweisprachiger Worterbucher mit der Ausgangssprache Swahili vor, weniger in umgekehrter Richtung. Die ersten bedeutenden lexikographischen Arbeiten wurden von Missionar L. Krapf seit der Mitte des 19 Jahrhunderts vor allem in Mombasa durchgeführt. 1982 erschien sein Dicitonary of the Swahili Language. Inzwischen gibt es Wörterbucher mit den Zielsprachen Englisch, Deutsch, F ranzosisch, Russisch, Schwedisch, ltalienisch, Polnisch, Tschechisch, Gujerati, Japanisch, Arabisch und anderen.

Inhalt der vorliegenden Arbeit ist eine Studie der englisch-deutschen und deutsch-englischen Wörterbücher von Johannes Ebers, die gegen Ende des 18. Jahrhunderts erschienen. Die Arbeit versucht in einem ersten Schritt zu bestimmen, wie und in welchem Ausmaß die zeitgenössischen englischen Orthoepisten und Lexikografen, die Ebers als Quellen benutzt hat, Konzept und Realisierung seines englisch-deutschen Wörterbuches beeinflusst haben. Der zweite Schwerpunkt dieser Arbeit ist die Darstellung einer Methodologie zur Erstellung einer digitalen Edition der Wörterbücher auf der Grundlage der TEI-Guidelines for Electronic Text Encoding and Interchange (Version P5). / The dissertation is a study of the English-German and German-English dictionaries of Johannes Ebers, which appeared towards the end of the 18th century. The study represents a first stage in assessing the extent to which contemporary English elocutionists and lexicographers, who Ebers used as sources, influenced the concept and implementation of his English-German dictionary. Secondly, the study presents a methodology for the production of a digital edition of the dictionaries on the basis of the TEI-guidelines for electronic text encoding and interchange (Version P5).

1 Abstract This paper aims at an empirical corpus driven analysis of a closed set of German comparative idioms with adjectives. Regularities in their variations are examined from several points of view. The contrastive German-Czech perspective contributes to a more objective understanding of the phenomenon itself. Corpus research results are integrated into the context of practical lexicography. The strategy of equivalence in a bilingual dictionary is discussed and reevaluated both theoretically and practically. The paper deals with some aspects of terminological coordinination which belongs today to the most actual problems in onomastics. Two approaches are analyzed: the lexical and the lexicological one. The former focuses on terminus as a lexical unit, the latter on specialized dictionaries as special knowledge representation models. Of the two investigated approaches to the coordination activity, the second one is to be preferred as it reflects system relations of termini. Two operations prove to be useful for terminological coordination: construction of lexical-semantic network and semantic mapping. Both of them deal with semantic space in terminology, thus two or more terminological systems represented in one or the other way might be coordinated without much complications. / Die vorliegende Untersuchung behandelt Aspekte der Koordinierung der onomastischen Terminologie, die z. Z. zu einer der aktuellsten Aufgaben für die Namenforscher gehört. Zwei Richtungen bzw. Verfahren werden beschrieben: die lexikalische (auf einzelne Termini orientierte) und die lexikographische (auf Fachwörterbuch als Repräsentationsmodell von Fachwissen orientierte Richtung). Von den beiden in dem Beitrag betrachteten Koordinierungsrichtungen muss die lexikographische Vorrang haben, weil sie die systemhaften Verbindungen der Termini widerspiegelt. Hier kann als Hilfsmittel für die Koordinierung die Methode des Aufbaus von lexikalischsemantischen Netzen für jeden Terminus-Deskriptor genutzt werden. Als Instrument der Koordinierung wird auch der Begriff "terminologische Karte" behandelt: Die auf diese Weise beschriebenen Terminussysteme (zwei oder mehrere) können im weiteren ohne Komplikationen koordiniert werden.

This diploma thesis is focused on the analysis of German language equivalents of Czech proverbs in the dictionary of František Čermák Dictionary of Czech Phraseology and Idiomatics 4 (DCPI 4). The introductory part of the thesis characterizes proverbs as a phraseological unit and reflects the current state of Czech and German paremiography on the basis of selected dictionaries. Another theoretical starting point is the issue of equivalence, which in contrastive phraseology or, more precisely, paremiology plays an important role. The analytical part contains of multi-level analysis of German language equivalents of the Czech paremiological minimum in DPCI 4. Equivalents were verified using Hugo Siebenschein's Great Czech-German Dictionary, Duden 11, Hans Schemann's German Idiomatics, the corpuses InterCorp and DeReKo and the Google full-text search engine. The aim of this thesis is to evaluate the current state of German-language equivalents in DCPI 4 and offer possible suggestions for improvement.
