Zollner, Cíntia de Vito. January 2017 (has links)
Bhabha / Abstract: The curret study proposes an analysis of The Elephant's Journey (2008) by the writer José Saramago and the relation between the novel and Portugal culture, as a Portuguese expansionist country exposing the trajectory of protagonist character, the Indian Keeper Subhro in his constant process of search by his culture aspects valorization, through the context of Hindu culture and customs of the Indian tradition in the border spaces and geographical dislocation.
