Orientador: João Luís Cardoso Tápias Ceccantini / Banca: Larissa Warzocha Fernandes Cruvinel / Banca: Alice Áurea Penteado Martha / Resumo: Esta dissertação procurou realizar um estudo da literatura juvenil premiada de Caio Riter (1962-), o autor se destaca no cenário nacional tendo recebido vários prêmios na última década, entre eles o Prêmio FNLIJ, concedido pela Fundação Nacional do Livro Infantil e Juvenil, o Prêmio Açorianos de Literatura, concedido pela Secretaria Municipal da Cultura da Prefeitura de Porto Alegre, e o Prêmio AGES, concedido pela Associação Gaúcha de Escritores. Várias de suas obras receberam o selo Altamente Recomendável, concedido pela Fundação Nacional do Livro Infantil e Juvenil (FNLIJ), e têm reconhecimento internacional, sendo anexadas a importantes catálogos, como o catálogo de Bolonha, na Itália, e o White Ravens, na Alemanha. Constatou-se, durante o levantamento bibliográfico para esta dissertação que não há no meio acadêmico pesquisa que se proponha fazer um estudo introdutório da obra do autor e que mesmo a crítica de suas obras se encontra fragmentada em capítulos de livros, de teses e de dissertações, bem como em artigos de periódicos e anais, cabendo, portanto, a este projeto de pesquisa reunir tal fortuna crítica. Deste modo, este trabalho é composto pelo levantamento da produção literária do autor e dos discursos críticos sobre elas publicados no meio acadêmico, em seguida submeteu-se à análise, a partir da grade elaborada pelo pesquisador João Luís C. T. Ceccantini em sua tese de doutorado (2000), dez narrativas premiadas e/ou selecionadas para compor o acervo do PNBE... (Resumo completo, clicar acesso eletrônico abaixo) / Abstract: This dissertation sought to carry out a study of Caio Riter's award-winning juvenile literature (1962-), the author stands out in the national scene and has received several prizes in the last decade, among them the FNLIJ Prize, granted by the National Foundation for Children and Youth Book, the Açorianos Prize for Literature, granted by the Municipal Department of Culture of Porto Alegre, and the AGES Award, granted by the Associação Gaúcha de Escritores. Several of his works have received the Highly Recommended seal, granted by the National Foundation for Children and Youth Book (FNLIJ), and are internationally recognized and are attached to important catalogs such as the Bologna catalog in Italy and White Ravens in Germany. It was found during the bibliographical survey for the study that there is no research in the academic world that proposes to make an introductory study of the author's work and even the criticism of his works is fragmented into chapters of books, theses and dissertations, as well as articles in periodicals and annals, and it is therefore up to this research project to gather such critical fortune. Thus, this work is composed of the survey of the author's literary production and the critical discourses about them published in the academic environment, after which he was submitted to the analysis, based on the grid developed by the researcher João Luís CT Ceccantini in his doctoral thesis ( 2000), ten narratives awarded and/or selected to compose the collection of the PNBE, in order to allow a panoramic view of the works, in such a way that it was tried to highlight possible traits and tendencies of the literature of Caio Riter. A presente dissertação trata do modo como a obra de juventude do sociólogo e escritor Gilberto Freyre estabelece uma forte relação intertextual com o conjunto da obra de Eça de Queirós. Tomamos por referência o livro Tempo de aprendiz, onde se encontram reunidos diversos textos jornalísticos do jovem intelectual brasileiro, livro repleto de referências ao escritor português. A análise de tais referências revela que a apropriação da obra queirosiana por meio de alusões e citações foi uma forma de Freyre se capitalizar simbolicamente - na expressão de Pierre Bourdieu - frente a um meio intelectual brasileiro que lhe era adverso. Procuramos ainda, a partir daí, fazer algumas inferências de como o modo de apropriação que Freyre faz da obra de Eça se transforma no decorrer de seu percurso intelectual . / This dissertation describes how the early works of sociologist and writer Gilberto Freyre forges a strong intertextual relationship with the works of Eça de Queirós. The basic reference is the book Tempo de aprendiz, wich collects several journalistic texts from the young Brazilian intellectual ,full of references to the works of the Portuguese writer. Analisys reveals that Freyre used the appropriation of Queirós´ works by means of citations and allusions as a means to capitalize himself -in the expression of Pierre Bourdieu-against a hostile Brazilian intellectual scenario.It is also shown that the manner of appropriation of the works of Eça de Queirós by Freyre changes along his career .

Segundo Hubert e Mauss (2005), o sacrifício é uma dádiva, um presente, que o homem religioso oferece a seres superiores aos quais lhe convém se ligar. Em todo o sacrifício, um objeto (a vítima) passa do domínio comum ao domínio sagrado. Bataille (1987) estabeleceu uma similitude entre o ato erótico e o sacrificial. O ato amoroso, segundo ele, não desintegra menos o ser que o sacrificante ao imolar sua vítima. O domínio do erotismo torna-se o domínio da violência, da violação. A parte feminina, enquanto vítima, se dissolve e a parte masculina toma o lugar do sacrificador, e ambos se perdem, durante a consumação do ato erótico, numa continuidade estabelecida por um ato que se fundamenta na destruição. Nesse sentido, uma vez que a obra de Hilda Hilst, desde seu surgimento, perscruta o Sagrado (COELHO, 1993), a relação entre erotismo e sacrifício é uma via privilegiada de leitura para essa poesia. Considerando-se o modo de representação do discurso poético hilstiano, que encena o jogo entre eu e tu, a leitura do conjunto evidencia a anulação do sujeito poético, configurando-se como vítima, e a figuração do Outro como grande sacrificador. O tema do sacrifício conteria em si uma possibilidade de elucidação do sentido estético dessa poesia, como a admissão mais radical de sua lógica contraditória, na qual a retórica místico-religiosa convive com o sensualismo mais desbravado. Nesse contexto, os paradoxos sobejam, fazendo comunicar o mais alto e o mais baixo, seja tematicamente, seja linguisticamente / Abstract: The objective of this reflection is to scrutinize one of the topics dear to Hilda Hilst's poetic: the representation of the Sacred, in order to establish a knowledge about the construction of the lyrical subjectivity in such poetry. According to Hubert and Mauss (2005), the sacrifice is a gift that religious man offers to the gods. In every sacrifice, an object becomes sacred. Bataille (1987) has established a similarity between the act erotic and the sacrificial. The loving act, according to him, not least disintegrates the being that sacrificer to slay his victim. The field of eroticism becomes the field of violence and violation. The female part, as victim, is dissolved and the male part takes the place of the sacrificer. Since Hilda Hilst's poetic scrutinizes the Sacred (COELHO, 1993), the relationship between eroticism and sacrifice is a privileged way of reading for this poetry. The theme of sacrifice would contain within itself a possibility of elucidation of aesthetic sense that poetry, such as the admission more radical in its contradictory logic, in which the rhetoric mystical-religious coexists with the sensuality more uncovered. This dissertation investigates the narrative practice of Latin American Existentialism. My project tracks the structures, themes, and interpretations of Existentialism across national borders in the belief that a common expression exists which is distinctly Latin American. I begin this philosophical cartography, with four Existential(ist) novels produced in Latin America during the 1930s. Specifically, I will examine the Existentialist quality of Enrique Labrador Ruiz's El laberinto de si­ mismo (1933), Mari­a Luisa Bombal's La ultima niebla (1934) and La amortajada (1938), and Graciliano Ramos's Angustia (1936). These narratives are analyzed in relation to the core thematic of Existential philosophy. I read these narratives as Existential(ist) because they are of, relating to and characterized by a philosophy of existence, and because they simultaneously produce an Existential discourse. My study is, at one level, comparative in that I pursue the points of emergence of Existentialism's prominent categories not only across national borders, but also across disciplines. I relate the tradition of Latin American thought in the first half of the 20th century and Existential philosophy from Europe to collectivize the thematic points of contact. These I contrast with our literary production of the 1930s. By emphasizing the particularities and continuations of Latin America's contribution to the Existential canon I, in effect, periodize an era which is foundational in the history of Latin American literature. Furthermore, by acknowledging the literary presence of Latin American Existentialism we can appreciate the explicit narrative interrogation of the Self through aesthetic, ethical, and ontological parameters.
