Filtrační struktury neceločíselného řádu / Fractional-order filter structures

Lefler, Filip January 2016 (has links)
Semestral thesis deals with fractional-order frequency filters. There is descripe proposal of the filter, their simulations and practical realizations. The first part is focused at the introduction to a frequency filters. The following is chapter which explore various proposals fractional-order frequency filters. The next chapter describes used activ elements in this thesis. Then there is briefly described a method of the signal flow graphs. The following is a description of the theoretical design of lowpass and highpass frequency filter, where order of the filter is between the first and second. Another part deal with the design and simulation of the four circuits. There are two curcuits consists of transconductance amplifiers (BOTA) and two curcuist consists of current followers. The last part of the thesis deals with practical realization of the two fractional-order filters.

No. of bitstreams: 1 HeloisaKCS_DISSERT.pdf: 1122622 bytes, checksum: deb681a00b9e4783f5bbe27f6cccc4a1 (MD5) Previous issue date: 2011-05-20 / This study has as main objectives to translate and to adapt the MCMI-III to brazilian Portuguese, as well as investigate and analyze the involved modifications in the Alcohol Dependence Scale concerning to the results obtained on the validity and on the process of adaptation to Brazil. The inventory was translated and, posteriorly, applied on people with different reading levels to certify that the items are understandable to public in general, from diverse places of the country, divided into clinical and non-clinical groups. Were evaluated 2855 subjects between the ages of 18 and 85 years old, male and female, resident and dwellers of Brazilian cities. The application methods were face-to-face and computerized. Results showed that the clinical group presented significant differences between the means in comparison to the non-clinical group. Through the application of the General Health Questionnaire were developed studies related to the achievement of convergent validity and its results pointed to the relation between the instrument scores and the MCMI-III. The Alcohol Dependence Scale analysis indicated that people who reported abusive use of alcohol had highest scores, indicating adequacy of the instrument on identifying manifestation of disorders and syndromes.

An in-depth exploration of the personality structure of adult female psychiatric patients with a history of childhood trauma by utilising personality assessment

Luther, Roxanne 02 1900 (has links)
The experience of complex childhood trauma produces a ripple-effect that psychologically impacts trauma survivors’ functioning in multiple areas. The aim of the current study was to investigate and describe the interplay between complex trauma, subsequent personality development and later psychopathology by means of the multiple case study method of six female psychiatric patients attending treatment at a tertiary psychiatric hospital within Gauteng, South Africa. This was accomplished by assessing and qualitatively analysing the results of a carefully selected battery of personality and other psychometric assessments presented to study participants. The results indicated that the experience of complex childhood trauma impacted the study participants’ personality in predictable ways, which further influenced the psychopathology they displayed as psychiatric patients. These findings aid in describing the psychological impact of complex trauma on the research participants, and also offers support for reconnecting past traumas to the current psychopathologies of psychiatric patients. / Psychology / M.A. (Clinical Psychology)
