Tvorba výpočtového modelu pro deformačně napěťovou analýzu prvků generátoru / Creating a computational model for stress-strain analysis of parts of generator

Sedláček, Radek January 2014 (has links)
This thesis focuses on creating of a computational model for stress-strain analysis of parts of a generator. Computational model is parametric and it allows use of various geometric variants of the shaft and rotor lamination. Parametric computational model in APLD language is compiled in the attached sheet of software MS Excel after entering input values. After solving in software ANSYS 14.5 are results imported into MS Excel sheet for further post processing.

The aim of this thesis is to design a proposal of Transfer table electromechanical earmarked for transporting packs of sheets of tin with balance-sheet of electromechanical and electrohydraulic construction and to make important technical calculations. The introduction contains a description of the used constructional solution with the description of the individual parts of the transfer table and survey used components from different producer. The work includes functional calculations, which mainly includes the design and control of power running and lifting gear, calculate speeds and lift loads, the chain drives and other assemblies Transverse. Conclusion of this work deals with the assessment of the frame strength of the Transfer table using the finite element method. Further the work deals with the assessment of the maximum capacity of the machine and with any design modifications. The work also contains a design documentation, especially the plan of the Transfer table and detailed drawings of the frame and eccentric casters.

Analýza ztráty integrity nádrže pomocí MKP / Structural integrity analysis of storage tank using FEM

Zahradníček, Pavel January 2014 (has links)
This diploma thesis deals with the storage tanks for petroleum products. The introductory part is devoted to the distribution of the storage tanks, associated standards and maintenance of tanks. Another part goes about the analysis of real case of a tank collapse. There was created a 3D model of the collapsed tank according to the measured values in the tank. It was created a tank shell model by drawing documentation and analysis of the results of the accident investigation using the finite element method (FEM) by program ANSYS. Calculation was performed on the buckling resistance of the structure according to ČSN EN 1993-1-6 and its comparison with the results of FEM analysis in ANSYS. The aim of the study was to find the critical condition of the structure and determination of the critical internal underpressure and overpressure. At the end there were determined measures for safe operation and settings of the valve members.

Návrh monokoku formulového vozidla / Formula Car Monocoque Design

Žídek, Tomáš January 2014 (has links)
The diploma thesis describes the design of a carbon fiber monocoque Formula Student car according to current rules. The first part is focused on construction solutions of frames used in Formula Student cars. Following is a summary of the important rules for constructing composite monocoque. Subsequently are described composite materials and their properties. The main part of the thesis deals with the structural design of the CAD program and a computational model to simulate the load case in FEM program. The obtained results from the analysis of the monocoque are compared with the values allowed by the rules of Formula Student. In conclusion of this thesis is evaluated the proposed composite monocoque.

Vliv exostóz na přenos zvukových signálů lidským uchem / Influence of exostoses on ear sound transfer function

Vališová, Šárka January 2014 (has links)
Exostoses are surface periosteophyte inside the external auditory canal of the human ear. The main objective of the diploma thesis is to determine the potencial impact of the narrowing of external auditory canal by exostoses on the mechanical sound transmission into the internal ear. The task was solved by FEM modelling in the ANSYS system. The simple finite element 2D model of the normal human ear was used and it has been taken from the diploma thesis B Ouali: Development of 2D finite element model of human ear (BUT Brno, 2009). At the model, including the external ear canal, elastic eardrum, otitis cavity with otitis ossicles and the cavity of the internal ear with internal ear partition, the alterations simulating different size of narrowing a and different positionig of exostoses were done. The influence of the exostoses on the sound transfer characteristics for air sound transmission and for bone sound transmission was discused. The results were analysed and compared with audiology.

Kritéria hodnocení únavové životnosti nýtových spojů / Criteria for fatigue evaluation of riveted joints

Adámek, Petr January 2015 (has links)
This thesis describes proposal of a methodology for evaluating fatigue life of riveted joints. The first section summarizes the theory used to evaluate fatigue life, description of the structure of operation load spectra and construction principles for the design joints for optimum durability. The second part of the thesis focuses on the proposal of a methodology enabling analytical solutions in closed form suitable for the initial structural design and also numerical solutions for use in detailed analyzes of the structure. The applicability of the methodology is demonstrated on an example of analysis of a real structural detail and subsequent comparison of the analysis with available test results.

Využití optimalizačních algoritmů při návrhování konstrukcí / Using Optimization's Algorithms by Designing of Structures

Fedorik, Filip Unknown Date (has links)
The application of optimization algorithms in the design of many economical and industrial problems currently represents a significant assignment. The development of high-powered computers allows an application of difficult mathematical techniques and physical phenomena to simulate real problems with sufficient accuracy. The optimization techniques used in engineering designs are mostly represented by modified mathematical programming methods with extension of their usability. The aim of the presented thesis "Using Optimization´s Algorithms by Designing of Structures" is to analyze the applicability of optimization procedures which are available in the widely used computing system ANSYS in civil and mechanical engineering practice. The numerical analyses were performed within the frame of multi-extreme, one to three dimensional optimization problems, multi-dimensional problems expressed by minimizing the weight of a truss beam and efficient design of air gap location in wooden studs from the point of view of thermal features of the structure. The analyzed optimization processes are in plurality verified with accurate manual computing and graphical solutions and the accent is put on optimization methods´ possibilities to improve robustness, efficiency and accuracy of the optimization algorithms in civil engineering problems´ designs. The optimization methods represent a suitable approach to improve the efficient design of a wide range of civil and mechanical engineering structures and elements. By combination of their advantages and FEM/FEA method it is possible to achieve very good results, although robustness of the solutions is not guaranteed. The robustness and accuracy of the procedure could be increased by competent exploration of design space and suitable selections of optimization methods´ features.
