Le poème critique, depuis Mallarmé : formes et enjeux / The Critical Poem, after Mallarmé : forms and Stakes

Echinard-Garin, Paul 01 December 2011 (has links)
This thesis takes up the challenge of recording the recurrent occurrences in the History of French Poetry of an expression, coined by Stéphane Mallarmé : in the "Bibliography", which he adds to his Divagations, he publicly asserts that he has collected his "critical poems". After having explored the new shapes this word encompasses, and the "mental transpositions" those texts result in, the development tackles right away the issue of using the same expression in order to designate any inspired critical review, which can be found in a letter from Alexis Leger congratulating Jacques Rivière. His influence on professional literary Criticism seems to suggest the critical poem should be left only to poets: analyzing Aragon’s, Ponge’s and Du Bouchet’s inventions, one can lead an inquiry into the value of these marginal texts, their rewriting and the presence of the poet’s voice in the theoretical field. Then, the ambition of a third part is to think together texts that confront the impossible definition of the poem, and finally choose periphrasis, extension, duplication or digestion. One examines the generation revolving around Claude Royet- Journoud so as to work out a poetics of this undetermined genre, which must comprise a reflexion on the relation : this meridian takes into account the "matter of the interlocutor". At last, the thesis focuses on a contemporary poet, Philippe Beck. He gives reinterpretations of literary works, especially Mallarmé’s ones, in order to carry on writing the History of Poetry in a "brand new critical poem".

This, from the standpoint of the work around the Ontology, Deconstruction and Ethics, may help to reflect on language as a phenomenon, a place of aporia and as a gift to the other, but chiefly as a throw of the dice that cannot abolish le hasard.

Graphic interfaces of user are intellectual technologies that came to existence during the 70þs and 80þs, resulting from the development of years of research in computers, specifically on the matter of information management and man-computer interaction. With the advent of the Internet and, especially the World Wide Web, the interfaces (of the browser and of the application) have connected human being and the culture elaborated by the digital universe. On the other hand, they receive influence of resources coming from prior means in its constitution, such as the rectangular page, the framing, the linear perspective and the subjective camera, which are reused by the design of interface in the creation of new means. With these factors they are then called cultural interfaces. Two basic formats, through which information is managed in interfaces in the digital culture, are highlighted: the virtual worlds and hypertext structures. Within that technological and cultural configuration, hypermedia becomes a favorable environment for the emergence of practices and experiments in new means, and therefore emphasizes the formation of the hypermedia field and a proposal of analysis of the hypermedia.

Thus, a theoretical and literary pathway was mandatory. French Symbolism was the analytical starting point of this study, especially in the figures of Baudelaire, Rimbaud and Mallarmé. This last one, taken as the apex of the playful and experimental poetry of his time, was the greatest pillar of this approach. In addition, a playful pathway was also required, blending concepts and theories sourced from the game field. This search yet showcased the investigation of compelling issues such as hypertextuality, co-authorship and rewriting.

Miksic, Vanda 19 September 2005 (has links)

Contextualizaremos the production of literary and intellectual author, working with the "field", "context" and "paratopia" based on readings of The rules of art (1996), Pierre Bourdieu and The context of literary work (2001), Dominique Maingueneau, respectively. Abordaremos the influences received by the poet in the literature and other fields such as visual arts, architecture, mathematics, philosophy and the different places where resided and the travel he has done. Use the categories "influence" and "overrun", systematized by the American literary critic Harold Bloom works in The anguish of influence (1991) and A map of desleitura (2003). So with the idea of overcoming, we want to examine The work Education by stone (1966) which marks the poetry of John Cabral a more mature by their experiences with the language. First, we will see the context of production in prose and verse of the author. Then mapeamos their influences, and a third time, investigate how the poet surpassed, building an individual and own poetic.
