Proposta de projetos estratégicos para canais de distribuição de insumos agrícolas em função do nível de gestão no canal / Proposal of strategic projects for agricultural input dealers based on the level of management standard

Simprini, Eduardo Sandrini 27 November 2014 (has links)
Agricultural input dealers play an important role in the commercialization and distribution of the inputs to final users (growers). Besides selling inputs, these companies supply important services and participate in the development of new technologies, in sharing market knowledge and specially in funding growers\' activities. Planning is necessary to bring light to the future while the management system is essential for the organization, becoming a competitive advantage and a successful tool for the implementation of the strategy. The diagnosis of management practices in input dealers allows identifying the main improvement points which should deserve time spending and investment by the firms\' managers. This research aims to address the following question: how to promote the strategic planning process of an agricultural input dealer by using previously structured projects that could be applied based on the level of management standard? In order to do so, this qualitative and exploratory research analyzed five case studies. It resulted on a framework for classifying the level of management standard of agricultural input dealers, which was used to analyze the strategic projects related to the existing management standard of each dealer. It also resulted on a range of strategic projects previously thought according to the level of management standard. It became evident that there is a gap between the proposed strategic projects and the level of management standard, being important that managers have a previous knowledge of such level for planning the firm\'s strategies.

Challenges faced in inter-organizational collaboration process, A case study of region Skåne

Kwibisa, Namonda, Majzoub, Safaa January 2018 (has links)
The increase in the complexity of social and societal problems that even a large actor cannot solve alone has caused pressure on many sectors, organizations and entities making the need for collaboration to be more urgent. This is because collaboration enables merging financial resources, human resources, and expertise needed to tackle complex problems. However, the increased failure of collaborations requests greater consideration and investigation of the challenges in collaboration. The purpose of this study is to investigate the challenges in inter-organizational collaboration at management and employee level. To fulfill this purpose, inter-organizational collaboration towards open Skåne 2030 strategy was used as a case study. The empirical data showed that there are challenges in both the management and employee level in inter- organizational collaboration. Some of these challenges are similar for both levels while others are different. Further, the study also found that political influence is a major challenge in inter- organizational collaboration. The study makes a contribution to the adaptation of the Thomson and Perry (2006), model of collaboration process. The adapted model in the study serves to enlighten collaborators that challenges in inter-organizational collaboration are inter-linked.Keywords: Inter-organizational collaboration, collaboration process, management level, employee level.

Bergeron, Romane 07 1900 (has links)
Interest in telecommuting has grown since the pandemic. More and more studies are looking at its evolution and the forms it can take. In the wake of these studies, we felt it relevant to investigate the influence of organizational support and the suitability of physical teleworking conditions on adaptation to teleworking, as well as the way stressors interact with the adjustment process. Based on Conservation of Resource Theory (Hobfoll, 1989), the aim of this dissertation is to determine whether there is a link between resources and adaptation, and whether stressors exert a mediating effect. We analyze the effect of organizational support and physical conditions of telecommuting as resources, and workload and family load as stressors, in order to explain the mechanism of telecommuting adjustment. The data used were collected between July 7, 2020 and September 7, 2020 by the BMO Chair in Diversity and Governance at Université de Montréal as part of a research partnership entitled "Crise COVID-19 et télétravail: un remède universel ou une solution ponctuelle?" The final sample of 12,367 respondents is predominantly female. The participants all work in the same large organization, are aged between 18 to 77 years old and live in seventeen administrative regions of Quebec. The majority have a university degree and are salaried employees. Descriptive, bivariate and multivariate hierarchical regression analyses were used to test hypotheses. The results showed that certain resources such as organizational support and physical conditions can predict better adaptation to teleworking. Our analyses revealed that organizational support and workload were not significantly related. In addition, certain stressors, such as workload and family load, play a role in these relationships. The effects of workload vary according to its intensity. A low family load contributes to better adaptation to teleworking.
