Specifika řízení malotřídní školy / The management specifics of school with more grades in one class

This diploma thesis is aimed primarily at the analysis and specification of the management specifics at schools with more grades in one class. Due to the proportionally lower number of those type of schools in the school system, these specifics have a general tendency to be neglected or at least only peripherally mentioned in literature, even though its management undoubtly differs from the one applied at fully organized primary schools. The theoretical part specifies the term school with more grades in one class and pursue to describe its specific features and particularities. A description of the general school management follows, aiming at its most important spheres. In this thesis, school management is being described primarily from the point of view of a headteacher. The research part of this thesis is realized through the method of questionnaire survey aimed at fully-organized schools headteachers and at schools with more grades in one class headteachers in Středočeský region, in order to discover their management specifics. This thesis is not framed as a qualitative comparison of those two school types. Ūkininko ūkyje yra vykdomos organizacijų valdymo funkcijos: ūkininkai turi vesti savo ūkio apskaitą, pasamdę darbininkus jiems vadovauja, gamina prekes bei kuria paslaugas, formuoja savo įvaizdį apie savo veiklą. Tačiau konkrečiai vertinant ūkininko ūkio valdymą, susiduriama su ūkininko ūkio kaip verslo organizacijos valdymo funkcijų analizavimo mokslinėje literatūroje stoka, o taip pat ir ūkininko ūkio sampratos neapibrėžtumu. Todėl buvo atliktas ūkininkų nuomonės tyrimas, siekiant išsiaiškinti kokias veiklas, būdingas verslo organizacijoms, vykdo ūkininkai, ko pasakoje, pateiktas ūkininko ūkio kaip verslo organizacijos valdymo tobulinimo projektas, pasiūlymai, kurie leidžia išsamiau įvertinti ūkyje vykdomas valdymo funkcijas. / There are used many organization management functions in farmer’s farm: farmer’s have to do accounting, hire workers and supervise them, make goods and create services, build image of their work. However evaluating farmer’s farm management more precisely, we have to face with lack of farmer’s farm as business organization management functions analysis in scientific literature. Also with uncertainty of farmer’s farm conception. Therefore, there was made analysis of farmer’s opinion, in order to find out what activities similar to business organizations farmers do. That allowed to make organizations management improvement project in farmer’s farm as business organization and to give suggestions for evaluating management functions in farm more detailed.

The main goal of this thesis was to analyze present condition in wide context, to propose solution of other development cooperation in choice territory and to express his efficiency. The object of research is company HS AUTO, spol. s r. o, connected to the automobile net, which is occurring in České Budějovice. In terms of solution diploma work were elaborated SWOT analysis of choice company and Porter´s five forces model of competitive surrounding. On the basis of worked analyses were created strategy and measures, which are adverting to present condition and are trying to contribute to development of company activities. On basis of assembled information and performed analyses was effected proposal for cooperation improvement in terms of net with emphasis on improvement and development company activities and its function.

O objetivo principal deste trabalho é caracterizar um modelo descritivo de estilos gerenciais do empresário de pequena empresa, coerentes com os estágios de seu desenvolvimento organizacional e baseados nas funções e nos papéis do administrador. O tema da pesquisa é o trabalho do administrador, sobre o qual foi realizada uma revisão na literatura, encontrando-se duas grandes abordagens: a do processo e a dos papéis. O questionamento central da pesquisa é se essas duas abordagens seriam adequadas para explicar os estilos gerenciais do dirigente da pequena empresa. Para responder esse questionamento, realizou-se um trabalho de campo dividido em duas fases. A primeira, classificada como descritiva, almejando mapear e descrever as principais características organizacionais e demográficas de 52 pequenas empresas do setor metal-mecânico instaladas na cidade de São Carlos-SP. A segunda, classificada como exploratória, utiliza técnicas estatísticas multivariadas - Análise de Agrupamento, Análise Fatorial e Análise de Correspondência - e foi realizada em 71 empresas instaladas nas cidades de São Carlos, Araraquara, Matão, Américo Brasiliense e Sertãozinho, todas do estado de São Paulo. Como resultado, constata-se que as duas abordagens são úteis para descrever o trabalho do dirigente da pequena empresa. Identificam-se, nas relações entre as duas abordagens, cinco conjuntos de posicionamento dos dirigentes: estruturação, público externo, equipe, oportunidades e recursos e ideias. Percebendo-se que os dirigentes valorizam diferentes posicionamentos, conforme o estágio da empresa, entende-se que os posicionamentos mais valorizados descreveriam os estilos gerenciais do dirigente para aquele estágio. Assim, apresentam-se três descrições de estilos gerenciais. Uma para todos os estágios, outra para as empresas dos estágios um e dois, e a última para as ) empresas o estágio três. Essas descrições são relativas às pequenas empresas do setor metal-mecânico; por isso, as generalizações são limitadas às empresas do setor. / The present thesis proposes a descriptive model of a small business entrepreneur\'s management styles, consistent with the stages of organizational development of the company and based on the administrator\'s functions and roles. The research topic is the work of the administrator based on a review of the literature finding two broad approaches: the process and the roles. The central research concern is whether these two approaches are helpful in explaining the management styles of the leader of small business. To answer this question, a field work divided into two phases was performed. The first, classified as descriptive, mapped and describe the main demographic and organizational characteristics of 52 small companies in the metal-mechanic sector installed in the city of São Carlos-SP; the second, classified as descriptive, used multivariate statistical techniques - Cluster Analysis, Factor Analysis and Correspondence Analysis and Principal Component Analysis - and was performed in 71 companies located in the cetral region of Sao Paulo state. As a result, it is possible to verify that both approaches are useful to describe the work of the small business manager. Five sets of positionings are identified in the relationship between them. Realizing that the manager value different positions, depending on the company stage, the most valued positionings represent the management styles of the leader for that stage. In this context three management styles are presented. The model of management styles is the reality os small companies in the metal-mechanic sector, therefore generalizations and contributions are limited to small companies in this sector.

For diploma thesis I chose the topic of management of educational institutions. The aim of the thesis is an analysis of managerial activities director nursery school focusing on personnel management. We focused on the issue of the relationship performs headmaster all managerial activities, what time frame they have to pay, how well it is able to fulfill. Individual chapters are based on the general theory of management, managerial functions, personnel, operations and human resources management. The practical part of the evaluation research. Method for obtaining data was used, primarily, time snapshot of all activities director kindergarten and secondarily, identification questionnaire. Based on the research model was created activities director kindergarten with basic timing in the form of a monthly interval. In the end we will find the time spent evaluating director of the kindergarten and recommendations, which should streamline the functioning of the school.

(in English): This diploma thesis focuses on the impact of top manager's education on managing organization. Specifically, it focuses on directors who have studied in the field classified as helping professions and also have experience in managing an organization operating in the field of social work. The entire thesis is divided into two parts - theoretical and practical. The theoretical part introduces a definition of helping profession and presents field of education that a helping worker could study. It also introduces reader the theory of management, from historical development, through introducing management as a management process or as a group of managers. The last chapter of theoretical part presents a theory of management styles, a theory of communication or a theory of intentional influencing through control or support. Aim of the practical part is to find out whether and how education could affect for example manager's crisis management, communication in the organization, employee evaluation, attitude to employees or attitude to clients. A qualitative method was chosen for the research survey, specifically a form of semi-structured in-depth interview. To reduce carbon emissions and lead the organization in a certain direction, companies can work with internal carbon pricing (ICP). There are many large companies that work with an ICP, which, among other things, have helped them to identify opportunities and led to decisions that generated higher revenues. Working with sustainability with an ICP serves as a management function and stimulates value creation in the organization. Digital platforms have become a common and resource-efficient tool used by companies to collect and analyze data and information to create value and make the organization more sustainable. Most studies have been done on large companies that work with ICP, and small and medium-sized companies have ended up in the shadows even though they as a group have a very large climate impact. This essay studies small and medium-sized enterprises, and thus examines how companies work with ICP in resource-limited conditions. ICP relies on employees and their ability to make decisions and implement new solutions and ways of working. The study therefore examines how competence-based capabilities form how companies create value with their ICP. Furthermore, the study also examines how the digital platform is used in sustainability work. The study is qualitative and examines two medium-sized companies and one small company through semi-structured interviews. The result shows that competence-based capabilities are at least as important as tangible resources and that cooperation, developing knowledge, leadership and commitment are important for value creation processes. According to the study's results, the digital platform acts as a resource that supports and stimulates value creation processes and can give rise to knowledge, information and working methods. To create value within the organization, further expertise and knowledge is required, which develops with time and practice. For SMEs, value creation is not mainly about efficiency in production or efficiency in the short term, but more long-term change in internal processes, adaptation of strategies and understanding of actors in the value chain. / För att minska företagets utsläpp och styra organisationen i en viss riktning kan företag arbeta med ett internt koldioxidpris (IKP). Det finns många stora företag som arbetar med ett IKP, vilket bland annat hjälpt dem identifierat möjligheter och lett till beslut som genererat högre intäkter. Att arbeta med hållbarhet med ett IKP fungerar som en ledningsfunktion och stimulerar värdeskapande i organisationen. Digitala plattformar har blivit ett vanligt och resurseffektivt verktyg som används av företag för att samla in och analysera data och information för att skapa värde och göra organisationen mer hållbar. Studier har i stort sett endast gjorts på stora företag som arbetar med IKP, och små och medelstora företag har hamnat i skymundan trots att de som grupp har en mycket stor klimatpåverkan. Denna uppsats studerar små och medelstora företag som arbetar med IKP, och undersöker således hur metoden fungerar i resursbegränsade förhållanden. IKP förlitar sig på medarbetare och deras förmåga att ta beslut och implementera nya lösningar och arbetssätt. Studiens undersöker därför hur mjuka egenskaper formar hur företagen skapar värde med sitt IKP. Vidare undersöker studien även hur den digitala plattformen används i hållbarhetsarbetet. Studien är kvalitativ och undersöker två medelstora företag och ett litet företag genom semistrukturerade intervjuer. Resultatet visar att mjuka egenskaper är minst lika viktiga som påtagliga resurser och att samarbete, att utveckla kunskap, ledarskap och engagemang är viktigt för värdeskapandeprocesser. Enligt studiens resultat agerar den digitala plattformen som en resurs som stödjer och stimulerar värdeskapandeprocesser och kan ge upphov till kunskap, information och arbetssätt.  För att skapa värde inom organisationen krävs vidare expertis och kunskap som utvecklas med tid och praktik. För små och medelstora företag handlar värdeskapandet inte i huvudsak om effektivitet i produktion eller effektivitet på kort sikt, utan mer långsiktig förändring i interna processer, anpassning av strategier och förståelse av aktörer i värdekedjan.

Die navorsingsproses is deur kwantitatiewe navorsing gerig en die navorsinginligting is met behulp van literatuurstudie en ‘n gestruktureerde vraelys bekom. Fifteen (15) welfare organisations with eighteen (18) social work managers were approached, but only fourteen (14) participated in the investigation. The research process was directed by quantitative research and research information being obtained through literature study and a structured questionnaire. With reference to the empirical study, it was established that social workers in the Boland region experience stress in the workplace and most of the welfare organisations do not have stress prevention programmes available for social work personnel. It is recommended that the Management of welfare organisations institute stress management programmes with the focus on management of stress through stress prevention strategies. / Social Work / M.A. (SS)
