The thesis deals with business forecasting issue. It is a proposal that should serve as a tool for designing and managing business projects (business forecasts) for a real company in the SME segment operating in the ICT sector in the South Moravian Region. This dilemma is crucial for every company, because it has direct impact on its turnover and profit. The thesis is divided into theoretical, analytical and practical part. The aim of the project is its practical use in a real company.

This thesis focuses on support tool for project management. The introduction describes the areas of knowledge management according to current standards of PMI. The focus is placed on the inputs and outputs of each process of all knowledge areas. To demonstrate all the inputs and outputs of processes in order to specify system requirements for transformation the illustrations have been attached. The following chapter investigates the system itself, the process of transformation of inputs to outputs. First of all the requirements specification is created. Requirements are focused on functionality, characteristics and expectations of users. At the selected process in the proposal, in agreement with the supervisor, three methods are selected. Transformation of inputs to output is described in these methods. The system should be designed with regard to the appropriate visualization of the outputs of these three methods. The thorough analysis of the results obtained is presented in the final chapter along with the students' personal contribution and the possible future development.

This diploma thesis deals with the elaboration of a project proposal in a selected engineering company, including risk analysis and design of a risk monitoring process. To achieve the main goal, an analysis of the current state of the company was prepared, analyzes in terms of internal and external influences acting on the company were applied, and a final SWOT analysis was prepared from them. In the design part, special methods of project management and risk analysis using the RIPRAN method were applied. Based on the applied methods, measures leading to the reduction of risk value were proposed and a risk monitoring process was designed.

The diploma thesis focuses on risk management of a selected nuclear power plant completion project. The first part outlines the theoretical background. The second part defines the goals to be achieved. The third part deals with the methods that are used in the fourth part of the document to analyze the company, its surroundings and project risk analysis. Part of this chapter is the identification and evaluation of risks using the RIPRAN method. In the last part of the document, measures are proposed to reduce the probability of occurrence or impact of risks on the project.

This diploma thesis deals with the risk management in the payment process optimization project. To fulfill the main objective, the norm ČSN ISO 31000:2009 was followed. In the preparation phase for the analysis of the risks were used strategic, scheduling, resource, and cost analysis. Based on the results from these methods, the project risks were identified. Qualitative approach was used in the quantitative phase. Next, the corrective measures were suggested. In the last part, a process of risks monitoring is proposed.

The aim of this diploma work is to elaborate the proposal of conditions and arrangements of the scheme ralating the analyses of the environment, management and financial analyses in the company. On the basis of this analyses there are carried out the measurements and recommendations for improving the stability and profitability ot the company TIPA, Ltd. Another important part of this thesis is the construction and description of the project plan, which includes the activities and occurrences needed for the realization of the overall solution. The remaining structure of the thesis is determined by a sequence of phases and activities described in the project plan. The evaluation of achieved goal's levels and detail identification of the contributions is made at the close of this diploma thesis.

The aim of this thesis "Analysis of the project management in practice using project maturity models is to assess the project maturity level of a Czech company providing management consulting, technology and outsourcing services for telecommunication, banking and insurance sector across Central Europe region. Theoretical part is focused on selection and analysis of proper methodology. Practical part applies the chosen methodology Portfolio, Programme and Project Management Maturity Model to Cleverlance Enterprise Solutions Inc. Company. Based on results received during project management maturity evaluation, a set of recommendation is proposed in order to increase the project maturity level.
