Web Market Analysis: Static, Dynamic And Content Evaluation

Erdal, Feride 01 September 2012 (has links) (PDF)
Importance of web services increases as the technology improves and the need for the challenging e-commerce strategies increases. This thesis focuses on web market analysis of web sites by evaluating from the perspectives of static, dynamic and content. Firstly, web site evaluation methods and web analytic tools are introduced. Then evaluation methodology is described from three perspectives. Finally, results obtained from the evaluation of 113 web sites are presented as well as their correlations.

Analýza vývoje cen v jednotlivých segmentech trhu nemovitostí v letech 2005 - 2010 / The analysis of price trends in various segments of the real estate market in the years 2005 - 2010

MACHARTOVÁ, Jana January 2014 (has links)
The aim of the diploma thesis is to process the development in the average market prices of real estate in other segments of the real estate market and to assess whether and how the development of the prices of various types of real estate differs between years 2005 and 2010. The literature research focuses primarily on the explanation of the basic concepts, the analysis of the market and the segment of the real estate market. The real estate valuation methodology and the factors affecting the price of real estate. Before proceeding, I determined a methodological order consisting of an identification of the individual characteristics of the selected areas, a market analysis in the selected segment, a methodology of obtaining prices within a specified period and the ways of evaluation of the data obtained. The research is based on my personal experience in the field of the real estate market. This experience allowed me to track the movement of the real estate prices in the different segments of the real estate market. I focused on the situation of cities Prachatice, Vimperk and Strakonice. In conclusion, I tried to identify the factors that affected the real estate prices from the long term point of view, with an emphasis on the impact of the economic crisis.

Power System Network Reduction for Engineering and Economic Analysis

January 2012 (has links)
abstract: Electric power systems are facing great challenges from environmental regulations, changes in demand due to new technologies like electric vehicle, as well as the integration of various renewable energy sources. These factors taken together require the development of new tools to help make policy and investment decisions for the future power grid. The requirements of a network equivalent to be used in such planning tools are very different from those assumed in the development of traditional equivalencing procedures. This dissertation is focused on the development, implementation and verification of two network equivalencing approaches on large power systems, such as the Eastern Interconnection. Traditional Ward-type equivalences are a class of equivalencing approaches but this class has some significant drawbacks. It is well known that Ward-type equivalents "smear" the injections of external generators over a large number of boundary buses. For newer long-term investment applications that take into account such things as greenhouse gas (GHG) regulations and generator availability, it is computationally impractical to model fractions of generators located at many buses. A modified-Ward equivalent is proposed to address this limitation such that the external generators are moved wholesale to some internal buses based on electrical distance. This proposed equivalencing procedure is designed so that the retained-line power flows in the equivalent match those in the unreduced (full) model exactly. During the reduction process, accommodations for special system elements are addressed, including static VAr compensators (SVCs), high voltage dc (HVDC) transmission lines, and phase angle regulators. Another network equivalencing approach based on the dc power flow assumptions and the power transfer distribution factors (PTDFs) is proposed. This method, rather than eliminate buses via Gauss-reduction, aggregates buses on a zonal basis. The bus aggregation approach proposed here is superior to the existing bus aggregation methods in that a) under the base case, the equivalent-system inter-zonal power flows exactly match those calculated using the full-network-model b) as the operating conditions change, errors in line flows are reduced using the proposed bus clustering algorithm c) this method is computationally more efficient than other bus aggregation methods proposed heretofore. A critical step in achieving accuracy with a bus aggregation approach is selecting which buses to cluster together and how many clusters are needed. Clustering in this context refers to the process of partitioning a network into subsets of buses. An efficient network clustering method is proposed based on the PTDFs and the data mining techniques. This method is applied to the EI topology using the "Saguaro" supercomputer at ASU, a resource with sufficient memory and computational capability for handling this 60,000-bus and 80,000-branch system. The network equivalents generated by the proposed approaches are verified and tested for different operating conditions and promising results have been observed. / Dissertation/Thesis / Ph.D. Electrical Engineering 2012

Analýza a návrh nových funkcionalít v inovačnom procese firmy / Analyzation and proposal of the new features in order to enhance the competitiveness of the company

Csörgöová, Edina January 2017 (has links)
The purpose of this thesis is to analyze and propose new features in order to enhance the competitiveness of the company. The thesis is divided into two parts. The first part focuses on theoretical framework such as innovation, innovation process and process management. The second part is based on the analysis of the companie s competitors and SWOT analysis. Based on the results of these analysis, the thesis further investigates the companys opportunities. Data for this research were gathered from analysis, surveys, phone and personal interviews Specific innovative steps are suggested by using the results of this research. These steps are measured through balance scorecard and then the implementation steps are described together with process models based on BPMN. The results reveal recommendation for future growth of the company.

Podnikatelský plán / Business plan

Slabá, Kateřina January 2009 (has links)
The thesis completely summarizes single steps that need to be done before opening one's own company and contains the business plan of a new rising restaurant with an estimation of whether the plan is realistic, feasible and if it has a chance to succeed. The thesis consists of the theoretical and practical part. The theoretical part focuses on the explanation of fundamental concepts related to this issue -- what business and company are, description of a successful businessman, activities which should be done before you start your own business and activities which should be avoided. After that there is the description of the most important aspects of a business plan -- its meaning, users, rules of correct elaboration, detailed structure and its appurtenances. The practical part contains of a concrete business plan of a restaurant in the region of Mělnik. It deals with a choice of a legal form of a company, optimal placing of a restaurant and its establishing, market analysis, creation of a product, planning of a proper marketing strategy, and making plan of management and financial plan with a prognosis of developement of economy for next years. The plan was created in a way to be tabled to financial institutions while a businessman needs money subvention and also to be a fundamental document for owners while they need to lead their business.
