Problémy metodiky a interpretace dat návštěvnosti turistických cílů / The issues in methodology and data interpretation in studies of tourist attractions' attendance

Nekolný, Lukáš January 2016 (has links)
THE ISSUES IN METHODOLOGY AND DATA INTERPRETATION IN STUDIES OF TOURIST ATTRACTIONS' ATTENDANCE Lukáš Nekolný Abstract Attendance belongs to the main quantitative indicators of tourism which is one of the most important sectors of human activites. Knowledge about number of visitors has substantiation in scientific research and in destination management. In this case it is essential to combine the sustainability and the economic benefits. The number of visitors (visits) is important regarding to education and media. Therefore the use of comparable methodology is appropriate before interpretation of corresponding data. The aims of this thesis after analysing methodologic risk issues are to create the recommendation and to compare data of tourist attractions. The main points of recommendation we can mark are to compare individual attractions regardless of the ownership structure and to separate counting of tour routes and counting of visitor numbers with season tickets without distorted coefficients. All these issues are completed through the model cases from zoos - one of the most visited tourist attractions. Keywords: tourism, attendance, tourist attraction, methodology, interpretation, zoo

Metodika pro vývoj webových aplikací / Methodology for Web Applications Development

Mittner, Jan January 2009 (has links)
This work deals with methodologies of software development, particularly web applications. Its main objective is to propose a methodology that helps ensure quality web development and prevents a number of frequently recurring problems. The first chapter deals with characteristics of current state and defines the need for process and discipline, the need for team development and the importance of appropriate tools. The second chapter describes the specifics of the web development. It defines the quality criteria in relation to web applications, particularly the aspects of accessibility, usability and security are concerned. It deals with web frameworks and the benefits and risks arising from their usage. It also outlines requirements for the chosen methodology for web development and describes types of projects to be applied to the methodology. The third chapter analyzes the suitability of the selected life cycle models and methodologies in software development for web applications. The life cycle models consider a model of "program and repair", the waterfall model and incremental model. It also deals with the assumptions of agile methodologies and their level of satisfaction for web development. For the analysis is used the methodology evaluation system METES with which is examined Rational Unified Process, Open Unified Process, Extreme Programming, Scrum and Feature Driven Development. The fourth chapter deals with the characteristic of Open Unified Process methodology. It describes the principles, features and development process. The main chapter deals with the proposal of methodology for web development. As the basis is chosen Open Unified Process methodology, whose elements are supplemented and adapted for web development. As the elements of the methodology are elaborated principles, practices, roles, work products, tasks, delivery process, manuals and guidelines and tools. Each element is adapted to fit the specific needs of web applications. In order to achieve greater control over the quality of web applications there are also included detailed checklists as an integral part of products which are aimed at preventing the most frequently occurring errors and problems. The chapter concludes with an overview of tools that have been validated in web development.

Řízení rizik na rozsáhlých projektech / Risk Management in Large Projects

Turchich, Dominik January 2009 (has links)
This thesis deals with Risk Management within large projects. It is still a hot topic, because risk is an inherent part of any project and significantly affects its outcome. That is why it is paied more and more attention to Project Risk Management. This thesis is written in collaboration with a renowned multinational IT company delivering these large projects. One of the project factors is uniqueness. Conditions in the world are rapidly changing and companies are trying to gain a competitive advantage in their own IT. Uniqueness is obviously very important factor of IT innovation and that is the reason, why many companies implement their changes as a project. These projects must be directed to a succesfull outcome, therefore many methodologies was created to manage it. Current project are under greater pressure on the duration and cost of supply while maintaining high quality, which in practice means that to deliver successful projects is becoming increasingly difficult. Therefore, there should be greater emphasis on risk management, so an event that may threaten the success of the project. It is needed to learn and look for better and more efficient ways of Risk Management. The main scope of this thesis is to compare two project management methodologies (Prince 2 and RUP -- Rational Unified Process) with internal methodology of chosen IT company from the perspective of risk management and then to compare the project practices with the methodologies, to find any anomalies or errors and provide suggestions for improvement. Another objective is to find out and describe project risk management trends, and introduce some tools to support project risk management.

Aktuální metody výuky počátečního čtení (se specifickým > zaměřením na metodu SFUMATO) / Actual Methods of Elementary Reading ( a specific interest - Sfumato Method)

Šimsová, Martina January 2018 (has links)
As a topic of my thesis I chose Current Methods of Teaching of Initial Reading (with a specific focus on the SFUMATO method). In the theoretical part I deal with the issue of reading literacy in pre-primary and primary education. I also describe the division and development of methods from a historical point of view. Further chapters are devoted to the most used methods of elementary reading teaching at present. In more detail I tried to describe the less well-known methodology of Sfumato. The practical part of my diploma thesis was used as a research probe in teaching using the Sfumato methodology and comparison with control groups in which the analytic-synthetic method and the genetic method are used to teach elementary reading. The results of my work show that the Sfumato methodology can be beneficial for both children and pupils and can help in avoiding unwanted reading habits.
