Chyby českých žáků v psaní v němčině / Mistakes of Czech Learners of German in Writting

Nováková, Veronika January 2020 (has links)
The following thesis deals with the topic "Mistakes of Czech Learners of German in Writing." The goal is to find out and describe the mistakes made in various German niveaux - specifically A1, A2 and B1. At the same time, it aims to introduce a new classification of mistakes and their symbols for correction that are easy to use and understandable for both the teachers and the learners. The connection between the type of the mistake and the level of German's niveau is also examined. In other words, the question is whether some of the mistakes are connected to the student's level of language or whether the mistakes in question are to be found everywhere. Firstly, the topic of mistakes and writing competence is introduced. The subsequent practical part is concerned with the experiment, in which 75 pupils from two grammar schools took part. They were given a standard examination writing assignment from German as a foreign language on levels A1-B1. The individual writing assignments are corrected, and the results are given in a well-arranged table according to the level of language. Furthermore, it is described closely with respect to the types of the mistakes. Last but not least, the mistakes are analyzed with respect to their abundance. The experiment showed that some expressions are used incorrectly...

Mistakes Worth Enduring

Bitter, James 10 November 2010 (has links)
Book Summary: In this book, Jeffrey Kottler and Jon Carlson turn their well-polished therapy microscopes onto the subjects of lying, falsehood, deceit, and the loss of trust in the counseling room. What do clients lie about and why? When do therapists mislead or withhold information from their clients? What does it all mean? In their exploration of this taboo material, the authors interview and share stories from dozens of their peers from all practice areas and modalities and ranging from neophytes to established master practitioners. Their stories and reflections cast some light on this fascinating topic and will help to start a more honest dialogue about difficult subject matter.

Tune your leadership before losing the game: A study of how managers can improve their leadership by learning from the way conductors and football coaches handle mistakes.

Feuillat, Maxime, Swanson, Ellen January 2016 (has links)
We, as authors, have noticed a paradox in today’s society. We often hear inspirational quotes such as “you have to fail in order to reach success” or “you learn from failure”. Thomas Edison himself said “I haven’t failed; I have just identified many ways that donot work”. Yet in society and within many organizations, there is a lack of discussion and acceptance when it comes to mistakes and failures, thus also a lack of the learnings from them. Failure is actually a neglected and feared topic, referred as “the Elephant inthe board room”, where mistakes are manipulated in hope of being forgotten and nevernoticed. Nowadays, we live in a society in which individuals are chasing perfectionism. Therefore, there is a fear of making mistakes which hinders followers to dare and take risk to progress. We believe that employees constantly suffer from this pressure and unhealthy environment within corporations. Therefore, we wished to go beyond this issue as we found ourselves astonished by the large number of quote present out there. In order to explore the concept of failure, we identified two kind of organizations in which the culture of mistakes and failures are different than in corporations. The two fields investigated are the orchestra and football team. Mistakes in these organizationsare not feared rather expected and accepted. We asked ourselves what do these leaders do differently and if managers could learn from the conductors and coaches in order to avoid or prevent. To answer these questions, we analyzed different major componentsof leaders such as their perspective about performances, their role as leaders, the communication and relationship with their followers and last but not the least their perspectives and way of handling mistakes. It appears indeed that organizational leadershave lessons to learn from coaches and conductors regarding the four main area we have analyzed such as considering mistakes as part of the past and source of learning as well as implementing a two-way communication.

It's Slapstick Design, Thanks! Wait! No "Thanks"- Just Slapstick Design ...

Bailey, Curtis A 01 January 2016 (has links)
I'm arguing for an approach to generating graphic form based on slapstick. Slapstick is a genre of physical comedy involving humorous portrayals of clumsiness, mistakes, and nonsense. I investigate it as an approach to form, content, process, and communication. These methods were used to construct an immersive installation loosely based on The Tibetan Book of the Dead. Graphic design is expected to function. It does this by conditioning users to its particular patterns or by skillfully implementing familiar patterns. A slapstick approach to graphic design is valuable as a critical tool for disrupting conditioned experiences for promoting empathy by relating to people through imperfection and failure.

Vliv znalostí žáků získaných osvojováním angličtiny na písemný projev v němčině / Impact of Pupils' Acquired Knowledge of English on Their Writing in German

MIKULÁŠKOVÁ, Michaela January 2013 (has links)
The main aim of this diploma thesis is to prove the impact of pupil?s acquired knowledge of English on their writing in German. In the theoretical part the historical development of both languages is shown with the emphasis on such historical events that determined this development. It is because of these events that each language developed in a different way. In the next chapter both languages are compared and the most important differences are pointed out. Next chapters are about Anglicisms in German, multilingualism and transfer, on this basis information are transferred from one language to another. The topic of last chapter in this part is ?error?. The practical part supports the theoretical knowledge gained by languages-comparing in a practical situation. On the basis of the corrections of upper primary school level German essays with the emphasis on the errors caused by the interference for English the practical part presents not only interesting results gained from many points of view, it also proves the impact of pupil?s acquired knowledge of English on their writing in German. Subsequently, the particular language areas are presented in which this type of errors was the most common. The authentically chosen errors are also commented on. The last part of the work includes various kinds of didactic material that can be used by such teachers of the German language who want to prevent this type of mistakes in their lessons.

Chyby při akvizici srbštiny jako cizího jazyka / Mistakes in Acquisition of Serbian as a Foreign Language

Stojanovičová, Zorica January 2016 (has links)
(in English): Our master's thesis deals with errors that students do during the acquisition of Serbian language. We focused on the grammatical but also on the spelling aspects of the Serbian language. The data from students were collected in form of questionnaire, test and translation. These were filled in by fifty respondents whose mother tongue was mainly Czech and six respondents had Russian language as their mother tongue. Language proficiency of Serbian was between levels A1 and C2. However, native speakers of Serbian had Czech as their second mother tongue. Interlanguage and intralingual interference were also the matter of our error analysis. Because of that we were also interested in other Slavic languages that our respondents speak. The aim of our thesis is to find out what kind of errors students of Serbian language do. Through this we would like to help both the students in more efficient language learning and the teachers to overcome the errors made by students and thereby contribute to the improvement of their language skills.
