Fez-se o estabelecimento do texto, através da conferência com os originais depositados no CEDAE/IEL. Também foi elaborado um breve estudo sobre cada um dos livros, bem como uma análise preliminar sobre a construção da memória nessa obra. Assim, foram feitas pesquisas e leituras dos principais textos do autor, a fim de se analisar o estilo e o papel que essa obra pode ocupar no panorama literário brasileiro. Manteve-se, contudo, a atenção concentrada edição e na leitura atenta dos dois volumes apresentados nos anexos. Vale ressaltar a importância da recuperação da obra do autor através desses textos que permanecem inéditos e desconhecidos. Através deles, pode-se enriquecer a produção literária brasileira do século X, destacando-se a qualidade de uma obra de caráter memorialístico. / Abstract: This dissertation elaborates an edition of the first two volumes of memoirs of Alberto Rangel named Águas Revessas. The text was established through the comparison with the originals deposited in CEDAE / IEL. A brief study on each book by Rangel and a preliminary analysis on the construction of the memoir in the author's work were also conducted. Therefore, research and readings of the major texts of the author were also done in order to analyze the style and the importance of this work in the Brazilian literary scenario. However, the scope focused on the reading and editing of the volumes, which are presented in the in annexes. The importance of restoring the work of the author through those texts that are unpublished and almost unknown is noteworthy. Through these texts, the Brazilian literary production of the twentieth century can be enriched, highlighting the quality of a work with memorial character. / Mestrado / Mestre em Teoria e História Literária
