Moraviovy Římské povídky ve filmu / Moravia's Roman Tales in Movies

This thesis aims to introduce Moravia's Roman Tales as inspiration for several 1950's and 1960's Italian films. Individual chapters focus on literary and historical context, characteristics of film and literature relationship, an analysis of selected stories and an analysis of films with respect to their linking with their literary basis. Based on the analysis of the selected short stories and films, the concluding part summarizes how individual elements (environment, characters, plot) are worked with, whether the choice of the cast manifested itself, how were the film means, which literature can not take advantage of, used, and to which extent do the films preserve the intention of the original text. A subjective review of the films touched upon is a part of the final part as well. General trends connected with the devolopment of Italian cinematography of the 1950's and 1960's are also mentioned. The appendices briefly introduce work and lives of Alberto Moravia and the directors and scriptwriters of the given films.

Zusammenfassung Die Diplomarbeit "Die Protektoratsregierungen und ihren legislativen Tätigkeiten" zielt darauf ab, den Leser mit den Aktivitäten der einzelnen Protektoratsregierungen im zeitgenössischen Kontext und mit deren Gesetzgebungstätigkeit zwischen 15. 3. 1939 und 5.5.1945 vertraut zu machen. Die Arbeit ist in drei Teile gegliedert. Der erste Teil trägt den Titel "Historische Pfad zum Protektorat Böhmen und Mähren". Dieses Kapitel ist in zwei Teile geteilt. Der erste Teil beschäftigt sich mit dem Ende der zwanzigjährigen Existenz der Tschechoslowakei auf der Grundlage von Verhandlungen von vier europäischen Mächten auf der Münchner Konferenz. Das zweite Kapitel beschreibt die Entwicklung und die Wende in der Politik der neuen Regierung mit Orientierung auf Nazi-Deutschland. Im zweiten Kapitel "Anfang des Protektorats" werden in ihrem ersten Teil die Nachtverhandlungen von Emil Hácha in Berlin und die gleichzeitige Sitzung der Regierung in frühen Stunden des 15. März 1939 beschrieben. Die Abgrenzung der Hauptproblematik des zweiten Teils dieser Kapitel ist der staatsrechtliche Status und vor allem die Analyse Hitler Verordnung vom 16. The dissertation deals with economic situation of The Protectorate of Bohemia and Moravia with a view to banking system. The first chapter is dedicated to the brief characteristic of the era of the Second Czechoslovak Republic to explain the situation when Germany affects progress on our territory. The second chapter is concentrated to succeeding era -- occupying of Czech countries, origin of The Protectorate of Bohemia and Moravia and integration to big German economy system. The next chapter is heart of the dissertation. It is about organisation of bank system in The Protectorate of Bohemia and Moravia and it's detention to German economy, about activities of central bank and commercial banks and monetary policy, about Germany interest in Czech bank's shares in industrial companies and in central bank's gold reserve and about origin of customs union. The part of dissertation is also dedicated to exile government in London and it's task in preparations of monetary system reform.

This thesis is divided into two parts. In the first part I deal with foreign direct investment and its relation to competitiveness, in the following part I apply this issue to the South Moravia Region. In the first chapter I characterize in general foreign direct investments, the second one is devoted to impacts of foreign investments on national economy. In the following chapter I briefly outline history of foreign direct investments in the Czech Republic and decribe current situation of our country in this field. The fourth chapter deals with competitiveness of the Czech Republic. In the last chapter I describe and analyze effect of investments on the economy of the South Moravia Region, in the end I propose measures in order to increase competitiveness.

This diploma thesis deals with process of "aryanization" in the time of the Protectorate Bohemia and Moravia and it emphasizes the region of Kolín. The thesis is divided into two parts, the first one covers the mechanism of "aryanization", it describes by whom was it executed and who was the proffitent. The second analytical part deals with the "aryanization" in the Kolín's region which is characterised by the means of archive sources (State district archive in Prague, State District Archive in Plzeň, Security Services Archive in Prague, The National Archive in Prague). It describes life strory of the jewish family Morawetz and their "aryanizated" manor farm estate in Světlá nad Sázavou and Golčův Jeníkov. The study is completed with personal profile of the two officers, imposed administrator Werner Würfel and regional council president Wilhelm Hübner.

Jews were integral part of medieval urban society. For Christians, there was a widespread prohibition of lending money on interest, that's why were Jews focused on this part of urban economy. It is documented also in Znojmo, where are kept well preserved municipal books, containing records of Jewish credit from time span 1415- 1438. Based on these records we can analyse details of the loans: names of creditors and debtors, place of their origin, sums owed etc. Results of this analysis are noteworthy. As debtors, we can meet citizens and other residents of Znojmo and suburb, clergy, nobility, as well as artisans and peasantry. Based on the book from 1425-1426 I'll reconstruct the contacts between Jewish creditors and their debtors.

This diploma thesis deals with selected early medieval archeological material from both sides of Czech-Moravian Highlands, in Bohemia and Moravia. Main period of interest is from late 8th century to 11th century. The aim of the work is comparison to an overview of Czech Moravian contacts from the point of view of historical sources by reason that between the 9th century and the 11th century Bohemia and Moravia come in on major and the minor interdependency culminant in first quarter 11th century by final Přemyslid subjugation of Moravia. In the thesis I focus on Early Medieval Hoards of Iron Implements and Weapons, axe-shaped Ingots, alcove Graves, Ceramics (especially parallel of pottery from south Moravia and north-western Bohemia), jewellery of Great Moravian origin or tradition and coins (especially Hungarian coins in Moravia). The thesis is based on partial studies focused on individual findings. The relationship between Moravian, Bohemian Elite and Avar khaganate can be state on the basis of increasing number of findings. There were no fundamental differences between Bohemia and Moravia. Alcove Graves indicate link between south Moravia and Avar khaganate. The present thesis shows results of an analysis of Urnfield culture settlement findings, which were obtained during an archeological excavation in 2004-2005 in Hulín - "U Isidorka". The settlement has only been partially documented. The main features of the thesis are an evaluation and interpretation of the excavated settlement pits and material archeological findings, particularly pottery. The settlement dates back to the Late Bronze Age - to the periods from HB2 to HB3, the documented area appears to be mainly used for storage purposes. In appendices, the thesis includes tables with pictorial data, a catalogue of the objects, a extract from a databade of ceramic fragments, a description of loam and photographs.

Agriculture of the Protectorate of Bohemia and Moravia institutional change - production - exploitation The work considers changes of agricultural sector in the Protectorate of Bohemia and Moravia that took place under pressure of occupation and war efforts of the Third Reich. It defines Nazi goals that were connected with agriculture, their methods that were to fulfil them and their results. The institutional change, production and exploitation build three main pillars of research. The institutional change, especially implementing of managed economy in agriculture and establishment of new institutions as instruments of Nazi control worked as the prerequisite for Nazi's performance in agriculture. The managed system of economy enabled implementation of wide range of administrative measures that significantly influenced agricultural production, its structure and intensity. The work analyzes relation between administration and performance of agriculture. The general change of this sector and its contribution to Germany are evaluated in wider context of Nazi's exploitation of occupied territories.

Work of Jan Jiří Schauberger in Moravia This Diploma thesis treats about the life and work of Jan Jiří Schauberger, a baroque artist, who came from Austria, but worked and lived in Moravia, where he created many statues, as well as wooden or stucco sculptures, particularly in the interiors of churches. Among his best known and also the first work in Moravia belong riding statue of Caesar's fountain placed in Olomouc, erected in 1725. For the rest of his artistic life concentratedd his work primarily for sacral objects. He died relatively young as in his roughly 44 years in 1744, the exact date of his birth is unknown but is widely placed of about 1700. The first chapter is devoted to detailed criticism of literature related to the topic. Second, extensive chapter deals comprehensively with the life and work of sculptor. In the third chapter the author reflects on J. J. Schauberger's personality, in the next as about the artist. And last, the great part, is divided into several subsections depending on the material that was used for each major works, which the author discussed in detail in further sections. At the end the summarizes his findings.
