Etnogeneze v karpatské kotlině na počátku středověku v zrcadle archeologie a narativních pramenů. K otázce kontinuity pozdně avarského osídlení a jeho vztahu k Maďarům. / Ethnogenesis in the Carpathian Basin in the beginning of the Middle Ages in reflection of Archaeology and narrative sources. To the question of the late Avar population and its relation to Hungarians.Luby, Viktor January 2018 (has links)
The geopolitical area of the Carpathian Basin was situated on the boundaries of the classical Greek and Latin literacy in the 9th century. There are no internal written sources dating back to the mentioned period characterizing the societies inhabiting the area. That is the reason why the political and social situation can be observed indirectly only via external written sources and archeological methods. The Avar Khaganate was completely annihilated by the wars between the Avars and Franks and the campaigns of the Bulgars from the hypothetical political map of the 9th century Europe. Nevertheless, the internal political crisis undoubtedly contributed to the swift disintegration of Avaria, vaguely described in the primary sources. The evidence of narrative texts and archeology, however, suggest that these processes did not bring dramatic changes in the "ethnic" composition of the Carpathian Basin population. The introductory chapters of this thesis give an overview on a set of written sources and tendencies in modern archaeological research. The research part of the thesis investigates not only the possible concepts of the continuous presence of Avars in the 9th century Central Europe, but also the questions about the chronology of the Carpathian Basin settlement by the Magyar tribes. / Close to the seventy-year anniversary of its publication, La Disubbidienza, the sixth novel out of more than thirty books published throughout his career, Italian writer Alberto Moravia, remains somewhat overshadowed by the success of other successful books: Gli Indifferenti (1929) obtained unprecedented recognition and repercussion; La romana (1947), Il conformista (1951), Il disprezzo (1954), La ciociara (1957), La noia (1960), among others, are tirelessly cited as representative works that raise interest in academic research. However, we will try to do some thinking about the importance of the 1948 novel, since Moravia himself, on an interview with Alain Elkann, who writes the biography La vita di Moravia, states that, as a critic of himself, considered La Disubbidienza one of his best works (ELKANN, 1990, p.176). Thus, we will attempt to contextualize this novel, besides offering a comprehensive reading analyzing its paths, mainly highlighting features that place this work in the literary genre Novel of Formation, the Bildungsroman.

This study consists of an analysis of the female character in a few short-stories from the books Il paradiso (1970) and Boh (1976) by the Italian writer Alberto Moravia (1907-1990), who conceived his work both in prose (short-stories, novellas and novels) as in plays and film scripts. Furthermore, another primary objective of the research was the complete translation of thirteen short stories from these books, inasmuch as there are no Brazilian Portuguese translations of this corpus. As theoretical bases, it was used Gérard Genette’s Discours du récit (2007), Lilia Crocenzi’s La donna nella narrativa A. Moravia (1964) and Antonio Candido’s A personagem de ficção (1987). It is essential to emphasize that in all the short-stories the female characters are homo-diegetic narrators (Genette, 1972). These books were chosen because their stories shed light on some key themes regarding Moravia’s poetics. For instance, most of stories contain thematic cores as the lassitude of the individual towards reality, the body seen as a product and an object of consumption, fetishism, social hypocrisy, sex, anger and angst. The protagonists strugle until the last moment trying to deal with the intricate situations of their lives. Nonetheless, at the end of the day, everything is reduced to a vision of an apathetic and disenchanted world. Through convencionalização (CANDIDO, 1987), Moravia could expose the neurotic psychology of his protagonists, portraying them as cynical and distant women. The simple structured language, nearly deprived of ornaments, also reflects this distance. It is believed, notwithstanding, that the oral tone, sometimes rather prominant in some of the short-stories can be understood as the elegiac confessions of these characters who enjoy the privileged position of homo-diegetic narrators who, through an internally focalized perspective (Genette, 1972), can fictionalize at will their stories. It is noteworthy that the use of this narrative technique provides the reader only with the narrator’s own point of view. Besides, it was also observed that Moravia transferred his intellectual thought to the female characters (MAURO apud ASOR ROSA, 2001) who, thinking of themselves, ponder about their existences. Unlike other Moravian characters, such as Mariagrazia from Gli indifferenti (1929) or Cecilia from La noia (1960), these paper-women no longer seem to support the male intelectual figure. On the contrary, they make themselves heard through their own stories, exposing their dramas with a great amount of theatricality.

Toho času velikej strach v zemi byl. Morava v tureckém ohrožení (1605-1683) / It was a great fear in land that time. Moravia in danger of Turks (1605-1683)KUČEROVÁ, Lucie January 2008 (has links)
The main topic of this thesis is the reconstruction of the image of the Turk in the eyes of the citizens of South Moravian towns directly threatened by the Ottoman dangerduring the Ottoman invasions into Moravia in the years 1605, 1663, and 1683. It also attends to the course of the Ottoman expansion to the Middle Europe, to the separate invasions, and damages on dominions Mikulov, Uherský Brod, Strážnice, Hodonín, and Napajedla, and last but not least to the baptizing of captured Turks as one of the ways in which the indigenous population responded to the Turkish danger.

Návrh naučné stezky v okolí Třeště / The proposal of the nature trail in the surroundings of TřešťPAŘILOVÁ, Blanka January 2007 (has links)
Highland of Bohemia and Moravia is one of oldest areas of our country. Historical sources show evidence of plentiful silver-ore deposits already since middle of 13th century. There were silver streaks appurtenant to Jihlava´s mineral district in the close environ of Jihlava town. This mineral district extends to regions Brtnicko, Stonařovsko and Třešťsko. Silver streak leaded to Třešťsko (towards Salavice, Jezdovice and periphery of Třešť town to be specific) from former mineral district of Rantířovsko. The mediaeval mining was almost forgotten nowadays and mining pieces were cancelled and buried. Some of extant relicts could remind us this Gothic time if they were not instantly land-filled and aligned. I concern myself with natural characteristics of the determinate district in the first part of my graduation thesis. Content of the second part of my graduation thesis is the proposal of nature trail in the mineral district of Jihlava - part ?Jezdovice u Třeště? ? itself. First of all I focus on the history of nature trails, on its types and segmentation. I addict myself to the trail proposal itself and its marking and design in the second chapter. The trail is focused on the mining history and geological attractions in the first place. The nature trail has sight-seeing character and thanks to its easy low-end terrain is easily accessed for all visitors. So, it is destined for the general public. The part of appendixes contains photo-documentation of interesting locations on the trail, pictures of samples mined here already in the Gothic time and other appendixes as maps, plans, charts etc.

Kongregace Chudých školských sester de Notre Dame v padesátých letech / The School Nuns de Notre Dame in the fiftiesGAMPEOVÁ, Barbora January 2008 (has links)
The aim of my work was to cover the activity of the Poor School Nuns de Notre Dame since they have been found. The high attention was paid to their centralization to the Nunnery´s branch in Kardašova Řečice in the fifties. I have tried to outline the period of problematic religious and political systems that kept clashing. The work is divided into several topics that describe particular spheres of persecution. The most extensive chapter {--} Kardašova Řečice {--} captures the time since the institute had been established to the day when the last nun left it. There are the memories of the witnesses that narrate about nuns and their activity in the House for Seniors and Citizens unabled to work. The whole work is accompanied by the archival material, but also looks at the nuns´ witness with the true-life experience.
