Typologie autorské pohádky: Karel Čapek a Jiří Mahen / The typology of literary fairy tale: Karel Čapek and Jiří Mahen

GVOŽDIÁKOVÁ, Tereza January 2013 (has links)
This thesis aims to cover basic typological similarities and differences in the work of Karel Čapek and Jiří Mahen, specifically in their fairy-tales. First, we present the characteristics of fairy tales viewed from different perspectives - in terms of theories about its origin, in terms of shaping during the history, from the position of terminology and definition of the genre as a complex. We also create a summary of specifics for both types of fairy-tale - literary and oral, because we want to find and define the similarities in which is literary fairy-tale close to oral ones, while using Propp´s Morphofology of fairy-tales. In the next chapter we will try to reconstruct the concurrent resonance of both works. In the end we will create a summary of all achieved knowledge and their comparison.

Vývoj flektivní morfologie druhého jazyka a mezijazykové interferenční efekty / The development of L2 inflectional morphology and cross-language interference effects

Jiránková, Lucie January 2021 (has links)
The present dissertation investigates the development in the production and perception of inflectional morphology in second-language learners of English and the role of their mother tongue during this development. The data analysed in this thesis stem from three psycholinguistic experiments that examine the production and comprehension of English novel words (thus investigating the sublexicon without the activation of word meaning). The first experiment focuses on the perception of inflectional morphemes in English novel words in L2 students at the A0 to C1 proficiency levels. Reaction-times analysis has shown that L2 learners seem to be (similarly to native speakers (e.g., Post et al., 2008)) sensitive to the presence of morphosyntactic information at the sublexical level, and they appear to decompose inflected forms into stems and affixes during perception and conduct an implicit phonetic analysis of the stem. The presence of these patterns across all levels suggests that L2 performance might be influenced by L1: Czech is morphologically much richer than English, and Czech speakers might thus be in general sensitive to morphological analysis of words. The second experiment investigates the production of inflected forms, more specifically those of past tense, in L2 learners of English at the A1 to...

Studium tenkých vrstev molekulárních nanomagnetů připravených metodou Langmuira-Blodgettové a návrh úpravy Langmuirovy vaničky / Study of thin films of molecular nano-magnets prepared by Langmuir-Blodgett technique and drafting of an adapted Langmuir trough

Vaverka, Jan January 2017 (has links)
This diploma thesis focuses on studies of deposition of molecular nanomagnets doubledecker dysporsium phtalocyanine via Langmuir-Blodgett method. The thesis describes the influence of deposition parameters on structure of deposited molecular layer of doubledecker dysporsium phtalocyanine. The prepared molecular layers are analysed by X-ray reflectivity and Atomic force microscopy. Moreover, the proposal of structural changes of KSV Minimicro instrument, used for Langmuir Blodgett deposition, is described. The intended result is Langmuir trough of bigger dimensions than the recent one, which would enable to distribute molecular layers numbering about magnitude of hundreds.

Automatické zařazování neznámých slov na základě derivačních vazeb / Automatic Categorization of Unknown Words Based on Derivational Relations

Faltusová, Marie January 2020 (has links)
This master thesis deals with the construction of a system for automatic classification of~unknown words based on derivation bonds. For this purpose, the system was designed to~extract derivative links based on electronic dictionaries and to create word-forming models from them. Based on this knowledge, it is then possible to incorporate unclassified words into existing nests formed from the obtained bonds, and their models, or create new ones. The reader will be gradually acquainted with the reasons that lead to the continuous transformation or expansion of the lexicon, the ways in which the words in~the~Czech language are derived and how to obtain information about the changes caused by this derivation process. This system builds on and extends the research of the branch of morphology in~the~project of a morphological analyzer of the Research Group of Knowledge Technologies, working at the Faculty of Information Technology of the Brno University of~Technology.

Interaktivní segmentace popředí/pozadí na mobilním telefonu / Interactive Foreground/Background Segmentation on Mobile Phone

Studený, Petr January 2015 (has links)
This thesis deals with the problem of foreground extraction on mobile devices. The main goal of this project is to find or design segmentation methods for separating a user-selected object from an image (or video). The main requirement of these methods is the image processing time and segmentation quality. Some existing solutions of this problem are mentioned and their usability on mobile devices is discussed. A mobile application is created within the project, demonstrating the implemented real time foreground extraction algorithm.

Genetická variabilita v růstových, reprodukčních a fotosyntetických charakteristikách rostlin a její změny v důsledku aplikace steroidů / Genetic variability in growth, reproductive and photosynthetic parameters of plants and its changes by exogenously applied steroids

Rothová, Olga January 2014 (has links)
While animal steroid hormones are very well known and have been studied for a long time, in plants no steroid substances were known until relatively recently. Only in the second half of the past century brassinosteroids were discovered; later on, their hormonal function in plants was confirmed. Still a lot of unknown remains as regards their function in plant cells. This paper presents in its first part the evidence that brassinosteroids control in maize (Zea mays L.) grown under field conditions not only its morphology and yield but also some developmental/reproduction characteristics like e.g. number of female inflorescences or speed of the development of male inflorescences. Particular response of a plant depends, however, on the type of applied brassinosteroid, its concentration, and last but not least also on a particular maize genotype and developmental stage of the plant during applicatin. Impact of brassinosteroids on primary photosynthetic processes in plants has not been proven under these conditions, neither on the activity of photosystem (PS) I nor on the Hill reaction. No statistically significant differences in the content of photosynthetic pigments have been found either. Another topic dealt with in this thesis is the possible protective influence of brassinosteroids on plants...

Změny obličejové části lebky na území střední Evropy v průběhu posledních 1200 let / Changes of the facial skeleton in Central Europe during the last 1200 years

Bejdová, Šárka January 2015 (has links)
The objective of the Dissertation was to describe, quantify and interpret to which degree the shape and size of the facial skeleton of people living in the territory of today's Czech Republic in the period from the Early Middle Ages to the present day, i.e. in the course of the approx. last 1200 years, have changed. In this time period, morphological differences between populations, changes in the sexual dimorphism, modularity and allometry of the facial skeleton were examined. The evaluation was based on CT-images of skulls from three historical populations, specifically from the Early Middle Ages, High Middle Ages and the early modern period. The current population was represented by CT-images of living people. We studied the facial skeletons of a total of 329 individuals, of which 183 were men and 146 women. The CT- images were used as a base for the creation of virtual 3D surface models. The facial skeleton was divided into three morphological units, which were further examined. These were the skeleton of the upper face, lower jaw and palate. The statistical processing was carried out applying methods of geometric morphometrics allowing the separate studying of the shape and size variability of the examined units. When comparing the size and shape differences between studied populations it is...

Vývojová dysfázie u česky mluvících dětí předškolního věku / Specific language impairment in Czech preschool children

Matiasovitsová, Klára January 2019 (has links)
The aim of this thesis is to verify sentence imitation as a clinical marker of specific language impairment while controlling memory and morphological richness account as an explanation of problems with acquisition of grammatical markers in preschool children with SLI (basis of these assumptions is explained in the theoretical part of this work). The practical part of this thesis is based on the existing research in Hungarian (Leonard et al., 2009). In contrast to results in Hungarian research the support of morphological richness account is only limited in Czech. Children with SLI were as accurate as younger typically developing children in completions of target forms of verbs and nouns, while completions of target verbs were more successful than completions of target nouns. Near miss errors were prevalent, but not without exception, and relationship between substitutions and frequency in non near-miss errors was not proved. The sentence imitation turned out as a good clinical marker of SLI.

Inter- a intraspecifická variabilita v odezvě Vicia faba L. a Zea mays L. na nedostatek vody / Inter- and intraspecific variability in Vicia faba L. and Zea mays L. response to water deficit

Fridrichová, Lenka January 2010 (has links)
This work monitors the response of plants to water deficit and subsequent restoration of water availability with the aim to expand our knowledge about plant behaviour during and after drought stress from the perspective of two plant species with a different type of photosynthesis. A particular attention was paid to the intraspecific differences and their possible changes during stress and post-stress periods. The plant response was monitored as the changes of selected photosynthetic, morphological and developmental characteristics caused by the cessation of watering for six days followed by a six-day period of renewed optimal water supply. The experiments were carried out on plants with different types of photosynthesis - C3 plant Vicia faba L and C4 plant Zea mays L.; for both plant species, three varieties / genotypes were monitored. The response of both plant species to insufficient water supply differed by the extent of changes in relative water content (RWC), chlorophyll fluorescence parameters, the dry mass of individual leaves (developed during the stress period), the ratio between the aboveground dry mass and dry mass of roots. In drought-stressed plants, downward trend in RWC was observed, as well as the increase of the minimum yield of chlorophyll fluorescence in dark-adapted leaves (F ),...

Reakce různých genotypů Zea mays L. a Vicia faba L. ošetřených brassinosteroidy na působení vodního deficitu / Response of different genotypes of Zea mays L. and Vicia faba L. treated with brassinosteroids to water deficit

Kuklíková, Radka January 2011 (has links)
This work monitors the response of plants to the application of a solution of synthetic brassinosteroid (5-fluor-3α,17β-dihydroxy-5α-pregnan-6-on) under drought stress conditions and subsequent restoration of water availability. The response of two plant species was monitored under six-day period of cessation of watering and under six-day period of renewed optimal water supply. The experiments were carried out on plants with different type of photosynthesis - C3 plant Vicia faba L. and C4 plant Zea mays L.. For both plant species, three varieties/genotypes were used. Photosynthetic, morphological and developmental characteristics were monitored. The brassinosteroid treatment influenced more the morphological than the photosynthetic characteristics. The content of photosynthetic pigments was influenced more than the chlorophyll fluorescence parameters. The differences in morphological characteristics between individual varieties/genotypes were observed. The response to the application of brassinosteroid was observed especially for drought-sensitive variety/genotype. Application of brassinosteroid caused increase of the dry mass of leaves and roots, the height to leaf , the height of the whole plant and its increment under stress and post-stress periods in both plant species. The content of...
