Effect of morin and GST on the growth and migration of MDA-435s cells

Lo, An-ju 12 January 2011 (has links)
The major functions of glutathione S-transferase (Glutathione S-transferase; GST) include the maintenance of intracellular redox state of substances, and detoxification of cells of endogenous and exogenous toxic substances, and therefore GST plays an important physiological role. The main purpose of this study is to find the effects of SjGST and morin on human breast cancer cell on growth and migration , and the possible mechanisms. Therefore we first carried out cell proliferation assays in vitro . Results showed that at low concentrations of SjGST could enhance the proliferation of breast cancer cell line MDA-MB435s better then high concentrations. And the cell migration assays results showen, when 36 and 48 hours that the low concentration SjGST can enhance the breast cancer cell line MDA-MB435s migration. Morin have antioxidant,anti-free radicals, and inhibitor of cancer cells growth. Therefore, we aimed at revealing the effect of more, GST and the mixture of both on growth and detoxination of MDA-MB435s. However, the results of detoxification assays shown, even add SjGST first or last or both mixed ,the concentration 5¡B10¡B50¡B100¡B200¡B500nM of SjGST still not protect the breast cancer cells (MDA-MB-435s cells line) to break away from morin .

A complexidade da moda: influência dos principais designers belgas e japoneses / The complexity of fashion: the influence of the most important japanese and belgians designers in contemporary fashion.

Santos, Antonio Carlos Rodrigues dos 27 September 2017 (has links)
This research is characterized by the study of the main fashion designers from the Japanese and Belgian movements in the 1980s, including Rei Kawakubo, Yohji Yamamoto, Issey Miyake and Martin Margiela, analyzed through the perspective of the Complexity Theory created by the French philosopher Edgar Morin. The objective of this study is to investigate the hypothesis that the work of these designers was based in a complex way as a force of rupture, questioning, subversion and influence to the contemporary fashion. For this, the research is based on the Complexity Theory with theoretical and methodological bases to certify the complexity in the career of these designers and also the complexity of fashion itself. It is based on the premise that fashion is a systemic science and should be approached by a plurilateral view through the grouping and correlation of several segments and, supported by the non-specialization profile proposed by Theory of Complexity, this research studies different areas of knowledge, including philosophy, sociology, history and design. The main proposal of this research is to trace a biographical study and an iconographic analysis of the designers in an interdisciplinary way with three distinct and complementary aspects: ideas, technology and form, and also study their respective influence on contemporary fashion.

Nadeau, Simon, 1982- January 2008 (has links)
This study is about Michel Morin's opera omnia, a contemporary Quebec essayist and philosopher. The first part analyzes Morin's work with a sustained attention given to the question of the essay as a specific literary and philosophical genre (with references to Vigneault, Lukacs, Adorno, Barthes). Morin's work is for us the occasion to develop a reflection on the relationship between literature and philosophy (with references to Nietzsche, Kierkegaard, Bergson, Heidegger). Finally, going forward, we elaborate the concept of philosophy as Ideational Novel to read Morin's work, a concept that describes Morin's intellectual adventure and involvement in the reflexive text. The second part proposes a more detailed analysis of Michel Morin's reflexive adventure through four distinct moments. All Morin's essays will be studied. Issues and beacons-ideas will be analyzed without ever losing sight of the genuine style of his writing.

La fortune critique de Paul Morin, 1908-1958 /

David, Lucie January 1992 (has links)
The poetical works of Paul Morin are not very well known, and are rarely ever read today. And yet, he was the successor of Emile Nelligan and Albert Lozeau. Paul Morin is one of the first French Canadians to publish his works in France and it was said of his collection of poems Le Paon d'email that it was the spark that ignited the famous "Querelle des regionalistes et des exotiques" in French Canada. Unfortunately, the negative reactions of some of his first critics, were to determine for a long time those of future generations. / This thesis focuses on the critical reception of Paul Morin's first two published books: Le Paon d'email (1911) and Poemes de cendre et d'or (1922), and attempts as well to retrace their critical fortunes up until the beginning of the sixties.

Páucar Coz, Degollación Andrés January 2015 (has links)
