How human resource managers and line managers can improve or corporate with each other to enhance working motivation factors of employees

There are substantially researches talking about departments with various functions inside companies also external connections with different parties outside. No matter researching which perspective, employees are consistently playing a key role. Regarding to a company, there are some people with more or less specific knowledge backgrounds to be unified. In today¡¦s business world, knowledge apparently becomes a surviving tool. It is the reason that ¡§knowledge economics¡¨ was created and develop theories in ¡§knowledge management¡¨ field. As far as managers concerned, employees are a group of people inside the company who should be paid attention to not merely on skin deep level. By means of having further sensitivity to motivation factors of employees, a lot of helpful methods can be found for win-win solutions. If companies expect employees with motivations, the initiative is to figure out how to let employees really make themselves ¡§motivated on jobs¡¨ instead of banking on only money matters. It is no doubt that line managers and HR managers should spend time working on this issue since one of the objectives to be managers is to manage people under authorities. This thesis would be practically valuable for managers on supplement by interview results because line managers, human resource managers and employees have extremely close relationships for organization¡¦s brighter future. Att motivera en arbetstagare -En jämförande fallstudie om arbetsmotivation inom två vinstdrivande organisationer

Today's society is on several levels dependent on organizations and their maintaining of work and production which demands that people can find motivation to do tasks within their workrole. This study will examine how employees in for-profit organizations is motivated to fulfill their working tasks. The purpose of this study will be answered partly by examining how employees experience motivation but also adding how employers perceive the experienced motivation. This is a qualitative comparative case-study which in addition to the central purpose also answers if there are differences and similarities about work motivation between an organization within the public and private sector. The study proceeds from several themes which is based on previous research and theory and uses a theoretical framework “intrinsic and extrinsic motivation” to delimit the study. The results shows that work motivation is something subjective and that both intrinsic and extrinsic factors affect motivation in different ways. The themes that were chosen proved to be of importance although the study illuminate that they affect people in different ways in various situations. The results of this study proved that there were many similarities between the public and private sector in what motivates employees.

Research and Marketing Strategies of Leisure- agriculture at Chi Mei District

The population of the villages and towns in Chi Mei District in Kaohsiung county has been agriculture-based from the early days and has been their primary source of income ever since. However, the town has been suffering from the impact of the modernization created by the joining of WTO and the introduction of newer technologies in farming, and environmental deterioration caused by industrialization and urbanization. The intended changes did not provide the necessary platform in the areas of product improvement, new marketing methodology and sadly it did not improve the present overall lifestyle of the town as we see the trend of moving towards modern industrial economy. Recently with the introduction of organic products, the benefits and increasing demands has initiated more openings of organic farms which double up as a retreat for interested individuals looking for a short stay away from their usual fast paced urban areas. Realizing the attraction of the trend, traditional agriculture-based the villages and towns in Chi Mei District can make full use of its favorable locations and with suitable business coupled with marketing strategies. These proposals can provide and open up discussions on the viable options to adopt including the potential of grooming the town as tourist attractions on their modernize farms as a retreat hot spot in the future.

Prof. Jaroslav Kalous, Ph.D. ABSTRACT: The final thesis is focused on the analysis of the process of motivation of teachers in terms of nursery schools. The first part discusses the theoretical forms of motivation and motivational factors influencing motivation of teachers. The second part is focused on the detailed principles of motivation for directors of nursery school themselves and the role of directors in the process of motivation of teachers. The third part analyzes the current state of motivation in nursery schools through meta-analysis of literature dealing with this issue in the past dealt with. In the end of the empirical part of the thesis, the influence of different positive and negative motivation factors are discussed, the incentive system is created for teachers in nursery schools and the recommendations for the management of schools is formulated, how to effectively motivate their subordinates and what to avoid.
