Verifica-se que o gênero está representado no Oceano Atlântico por sete espécies, todas na costa oeste: N bushiae Dall, 1889; N glypta (Bush, 1885); N maculata (C. B. Adams, 1850); N metabrunnea Dall & Simpson, 1901; N minor (C. B. Adams, 1845); N monilifera (Sowerby, 1844) e N thetys Costa & Absalão, 1998. Duas espéies, N minor e N thetys, ocorrem na costa brasileira. Através de comparações conquiliológicas, confirmamos o táxon Psarostola Rehder... / The taxonomy of recent representatives of the genus Nassarina Dall, 1889 for the Western Atlantic is examined at generic and specific levels. It is known that the genus is represented in the Atlantic Ocean by seven species, all from the Western Atlantic coast: N bushiae (Dall, 1889); N glypta (Bush, 1885); N maculata (C. B. Adams, 1850); N. metabrunnea Dall & Simpson, 1901; N minor (C. B. Adams, 1845); N monilifera (Sowerby, 1844) and N thetys Costa & Absalão, 1998.
